Over the last several weeks, we've been looking into various aspects that define the “church”, not just a particular local church but the Lord's church globally (and eternally). In the Great Commission, you see an underlying principle recurring throughout the bible. Once we realize the depth of God's grace that has been given to us, gratitude will overflow from our hearts. We will want to pay it forward. We will want others to know and experience what we now know and have experienced.Give to Project Rescue Herehttps://forms.ministryforms.net/embed.aspx?formId=fa9ab3d6-70fd-403a-ba47-fd5b63d77a8a
It's critical for the Church to be in the world—but it's destructive for the world to be in the Church. In this sermon, Pastor Allen Jackson discusses the Church's important role as a gatekeeper against evil and darkness. Jesus didn't come to condemn us, but to save us—and we have an opportunity to take this eternity-changing message to those around us. As we invite the Holy Spirit's help, we can move beyond having a theoretical faith to becoming effective advocates for His Kingdom. Pastor Allen offers Scripture to show how God is continually working to transform our minds, bodies, and spirits into something new.
