The American medical system is more centralized than ever — but what happens when doctors decide to build an alternative? I'm joined by Kelly Bumann, executive director of the Independent Medical Alliance, to discuss the growing movement of independent physicians working to restore patient-centered medicine, open scientific debate, informed consent, and medical freedom. IMA grew out of the network of frontline doctors associated with the FLCCC and is now expanding its mission far beyond COVID. The organization is building a network of independent physicians, medical education, research, patient resources, referrals, and tools designed to help people become more informed participants in their own health care. It is the best network of decentralized doctors who refuse to cower before the medical establishment and also strive to constantly improve clinical outcomes.  Learn more about your ad choices. In the Market with Janet Parshall

Post-truth, AI deep fakes, truthiness, propaganda, alternative facts, true for you but not for me--the concept of truth has been taking a beating for decades, but in recent years it feels as though we may have moved beyond the point of no return. Not only are our concepts of truth not aligned with biblical teachings, but they are also patently out of step with objective reality. With a strong desire to help Christians discern truth from error, senior apologist Dr. Douglas Groothuis explores our culture's deficient view of truth and clearly explains the nature of truth, how to know if something is true, and how to bring truth to bear on some of the most pressing issues of our times.Become a Parshall Partner: http://moodyradio.org/donateto/inthemarket/partnersSee omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Why do successful men still struggle with burnout, anger, disconnection, and feeling unfulfilled?Amy sits down with men's high performance coach Pat Smith to explore why professional achievement, physical fitness, and financial success do not necessarily create emotional well-being. Pat shares why many business problems are actually personal patterns showing up at work, and how perfectionism, grief, shame, pressure, and survival strategies can quietly shape the way men lead.Together they explore emotional intelligence for men, the shift from positional power to relational leadership, and why emotional awareness can become a form of strength rather than weakness. The conversation moves through high performance without burnout, emotional regulation at work, psychological safety, masculine identity, accountability, vulnerability, and the importance of creating spaces where men can speak honestly without blame or shame.By the end, what emerges is a broader definition of strength. Sustainable success is not about having everything under control. It is about developing the self-awareness, emotional ownership, and relational capacity to lead yourself and others with greater trust, connection, and resilience.Moments That Create Momentum:1. When Business Problems Are Really Personal Problems – Explore how perfectionism, performance anxiety, and unresolved experiences can follow leaders into the workplace disguised as professional challenges.2. The Shift From Positional Power to Relational Leadership – Discover why getting results through hierarchy and authority can create disconnection, while relationships, trust, and emotional intelligence strengthen leadership.3. The Leadership Mask That Becomes Exhausting to Wear – Understand why trying to appear as though you have everything together can drain leaders and keep their teams from experiencing who they really are.4. What Emotional Strength Actually Looks Like – Hear why accessing sadness, fear, frustration, and other emotions is not weakness, and how learning to move through them can build resilience.5. Taking Back the Reins of Your Emotional Life – See how changing language from blame to ownership can help leaders stop giving other people and circumstances control over how they think, feel, and respond.About the Guest:Pat Smith is a men's high performance coach who helps men become wildly successful professionally without losing themselves in the process. It defines strongholds as deep-seated mental patterns and wrong belief systems that must be dismantled by building towers of biblical truth. The speaker stresses the importance of guarding one's mind against deception by evaluating thoughts against the criteria found in Philippians 4:8. Personal testimonies illustrate how yielding to demonic influences leads to destruction, while surrendering to Christ brings freedom and victory. The message concludes with a call to actively take every thought captive and stand firm in faith to protect families from spiritual oppression.

In this episode of The Birth Lounge Podcast, HeHe dives into a conversation that's been weighing heavily on her heart since becoming a mom herself: how do we raise boys who grow into emotionally healthy, respectful, and compassionate men? After reflecting on the rise of "boy mom culture" and the messages it often sends about sons, relationships, and masculinity, HeHe sits down with perinatal mental health therapist and mom of five boys, Breeze Weasel, creator of the Better Boys Project. Together, they explore what it actually means to raise boys in today's world. From teaching consent and emotional intelligence to encouraging accountability, empathy, and healthy communication, they discuss how parents can intentionally break generational cycles and help their sons build strong, respectful relationships throughout their lives. HeHe and Breeze also unpack the influence of social media and the "manosphere," why difficult conversations about bodies, puberty, and respect can't wait until the teenage years, and how creating a home where kids feel safe asking questions can protect them from harmful messaging elsewhere. They talk about the importance of repairing after conflict, modeling healthy apologies, and showing children that mistakes don't define us... it's how we respond to them that matters. They also offer encouragement for parents navigating imperfect situations, including co-parenting challenges and relationships where emotional growth isn't always shared equally. Because while we can't control every influence our children will encounter, we can create a home where empathy, curiosity, respect, and accountability are lived out every day. Whether you're raising boys, girls, or both, this episode is a thoughtful reminder that we're not just raising children... we're shaping the adults they'll one day become. And the conversations we have today have the power to change generations.   Guest Bio: Breeze is a perinatal mental health therapist, content creator, and mother of 5. Organizations have been rushing to the public cloud, often without much thought given to strategically placing workloads.Over the intervening years, however, IT and business decision makers have learned that while public cloud can be useful for some applications, there's no one size fits all and AI has brought this to even greater focus. What's the role of private cloud in managing workloads effectively and how can businesses strategically choose what path is best for them?In this episode, in association with Redcentric, the ITPro Podcast is joined by senior product manager for cloud, Darren Adcock, and senior technical architect, Paul Jenner, to discuss the legacy of cloud investment and how organizations can manage their workloads better.Highlights "In many respects, the cloud hangover is kind of a consequence of various factors that people maybe didn't take into account when they moved into cloud... maybe we've got the wrong cloud in use for the wrong application. Maybe we're seeing overspend. Maybe we're seeing just poor customer performance.""It goes back to the early adoption of public cloud being a one size fits all. We've got to move to cloud, we've got to move everything to cloud without necessarily spending the time to think what's most appropriate to move to cloud, what's the most appropriate to keep on private cloud.""Generally, if you re-architect when you move to cloud, then you are more likely to get a cost-effective outcome. If you don't re-architect, the chances are you are just moving a cost to somewhere else where it actually might be more expensive to run than if it was on private cloud.""It's about a sensible view of your workloads of the requirements for those workloads against the capabilities and constraints of each of those clouds and choosing the right environment."Resourceshttps://www.redcentricplc.com/https://www.redcentricplc.com/managed-services/cloud/https://www.redcentricplc.com/managed-services/cloud/private-cloud/https://www.redcentricplc.com/sovereignty/

On this special Independence 250 Day episode, I want to explore some of the religious language around the founding of our nation, which is part of Christian Nationalism associated with Making America Great Again. Proponents claim that our founders were Christians and created America as an explicitly Christian country. Others call this the founding myth, and that, while our founders may have had some form of Christian faith, they were explicit about the separation of Church and State. Let's explore.

Welcome back to Here's the Caveat!Today we are talking about anxiety, but not the soft, surface-level version that gets reduced to “take a breath and think positive.” No.We are going after the kind of anxiety that steals peace, distorts leadership, preaches fear, and tries to sit in a chair God never assigned to it.Anxiety is real, but that does not make it righteous. It may be loud, but that does not make it Lord. It may have an opinion, but it does not get a vote. Here's the Caveat: Anxiety does not get the keys. Not to your mind. Not to your peace. Not to your obedience. Not to your leadership.Today, we are taking the keys back.

For our very first guest on the The Live Like a Girl podcast, I sat down with the woman who taught generations of us how to take back our financial power: Suze Orman. Here's why I had to start here. I spend my life helping women with hormones, weight loss, menopause, and underneath almost all of it sits one thing – cortisol. And when you scratch beneath the “cortisol surface,” so often what you find is money stress. So I brought in the icon herself to talk about what's really keeping women sick and stuck, and what to do about it.We get into self-worth and net worth, why women hand over their financial power, the spender-to-saver shift, divorce and the sandwich generation, the truth about your home and your car, what AI is about to do to all of us, and the money moves that matter most in 2026. Suze also shares her origin story – from waitress to financial icon and I know it will light a fire in you. This one is a masterclass. So bring a notebook and get ready. If you already listened to this episode from another source, then you don't have to listen to this version!  There are so many things demanding our attention these days, especially social media and technology. We discuss some practical strategies for cutting back on these distractions so we can focus on what really matters this summer: making memories with our kids and spending time together as a family. We also talk about Kids Day, a Wilson family tradition, as well as Father's Day and ways we can encourage and celebrate the dads in our lives. We want to thank Teaching Textbooks for all of their support of the Smiling Homeschooler. They are one of the best math curriculums around, and we believe they help more homeschoolers smile, and you should use their math curriculum for this school year. Chronic pain originated from genetic degenerative disc disease after the birth of her second child, leading to muscle spasms, failed artificial disc implant (FDA trial), spinal fusion, and permanent nerve damage in both legs. At peak pharmaceutical use, Shelley was on approximately seven medications — including pain, antidepressant, anxiety, insomnia, nausea, and panic medications — with five taken daily. Side effects from pharmaceuticals included nausea, vomiting, appetite loss, hair loss, poor nail and dental health, and chronic lack of deep sleep. Cannabis was first introduced by her Colorado chronic pain specialist, who permitted concurrent use with pain medication; she began with edibles primarily to address severe appetite loss and weight loss. Beyond appetite, cannabis progressively reduced anxiety, stress, and other symptoms, surprising Shelley given her Gen X perception of it as a "stoner drug." Her doctor's indictment for Medicare fraud in Colorado — abandoning 250+ patients overnight and destroying records — forced a pivotal choice; she opted to transition fully to cannabis rather than restart the pharmaceutical advocacy process. Going cold turkey off pain medication in 2020 was manageable partly because cannabis had already built mental resilience, contrasting with pharmaceuticals which she felt made her mentally unstable. Shelley noted it took approximately five years after stopping pharmaceuticals to feel chemically different — lighter and healed — underscoring the long-term impact of pharmaceutical residue. A spinal cord stimulator implanted roughly seven years into her chronic pain journey provided ~40% pain relief via leads and an internal battery; the leads are now burning out but she has decided against replacement surgery due to prior nerve damage risk. Current cannabis regimen: ~50mg hybrid edible (CBD/CBN blend) each morning plus smoking at night for relaxation and sleep, with the ability to self-regulate dosage by cutting down without withdrawal. Stigma encountered from her generation includes perceptions of cannabis as a lazy, unmotivated, or gateway drug — compounded by prior stigma as a chronic pain patient during the opioid epidemic. Cannabis is credited with delivering mental clarity and stability, directly countering the common misconception that it causes fogginess or impaired thinking. Chronic pain described as an all-consuming mental battle; cannabis enabled Shelley to stay present and mentally strong rather than constantly focused on pain — a key quality-of-life shift. Reflecting on her journey, Shelley's core message is to open the door to cannabis sooner, while acknowledging that everything happens in its own time. Alligators and Assholes: Surviving the Chaos of Real Estate Investing Ever have one of those Mondays where absolutely nothing goes right? Software glitched, vendors dropped the ball, closings got delayed, and everyone is dragging their feet. Welcome to the reality of the current real estate market! In this raw and unfiltered episode of Money Monday, we are diving deep into how to navigate the "case of the Mondays" that seems to be sweeping the entire industry right now. If you are feeling the pinch, experiencing massive financial stress, or watching your rehabs and property listings sit on the market longer than expected—you are not alone. We are at the mid-year mark, and it is time to stop drifting, cut the distractions, and take control of your business. Grab a glass of iced tea (or something stronger!), take a deep breath, and let's talk about how to survive the chaos, refocus your strategies, and push through to the finish line. What We Cover in This Episode:Navigating Market Friction: Why deals are dragging out, closings are being delayed, and how to maintain grace when things don't go according to plan. The Danger of Drifting: How freedom can strangle an entrepreneur if you lack discipline, focus, and a daily schedule. The Reality of 100% Capital Loss: A look at recent high-profile multifamily losses in Houston and why market stress is peaking. Taking Back the Reins: When to fire underperforming vendors or realtors and roll up your sleeves to get the job done yourself. Mid-Year Goal Assessment: An honest look at evaluating your 6-month progress, adjusting your targets, and cutting out expensive "automation tools" that aren't hitting your bottom line. Stop Riding on One Investor: Why relying on a single source of private capital is stalling your growth, and the absolute necessity of marketing for money. The "Alligators & Assholes" Philosophy: How to step back, avoid burnout, protect your mental health, and use things like high school baseball or a simple walk to hit the reset button. Upcoming Opportunities: Exclusive updates on the upcoming Marketing for Money class and the highly anticipated Shadow Inventory Roadshow hitting distressed assets across the country. Quotes Worth Sharing:"The Good Lord doesn't give us anything we can't handle, but the devil absolutely gives us distractions to keep us from being efficient." At the end of the day, real estate investing is an act of grit. If your results are frustrating you, it's time to audit your action steps—because a perfect business plan means nothing if you aren't making offers. Take a breath, step away for an afternoon if you need to, and come back ready to dominate. Release the Past: Craig Meriwether on Hypnotherapy, Anxiety, the Subconscious Mind, and Taking Back Control | Conversations with a Chiropractor Episode Description In this episode of Conversations with a Chiropractor, Dr. Stephanie Wautier sits down with Craig Meriwether, a clinical hypnotherapist and subconscious transformation specialist, for a grounded conversation about anxiety, old emotional patterns, test stress, and the role the subconscious mind can play in healing and personal change. Craig shares how his own struggles with depression and anxiety eventually led him into hypnotherapy, and he helps clear up some of the biggest misconceptions around the practice. This is not stage-show hypnosis or mind control. It is a conversation about the patterns people carry, the protective habits the mind can create, and what it can look like to begin changing those instructions from the inside out. Stephanie and Craig also talk about the anxiety many people are living with today, from teenagers navigating social media pressure to adults facing tests, interviews, public speaking, fear of flying, self-sabotage, and feelings of low self-worth. This episode is a helpful starting point for anyone curious about hypnotherapy, the subconscious mind, and the possibility of responding to life with more calm, clarity, and control. In This Episode, Discover Craig's personal journey through depression, anxiety, and personal development Why hypnotherapy became part of his own healing process How today's teenagers face a very different anxiety landscape than previous generations Why social media can make it harder for young people to find quiet, privacy, and relief How test anxiety affects students, adults, professionals, and people taking certification exams Why stress and shallow breathing can interfere with clear thinking during a test What hypnotherapy is, and what it is not Why hypnosis is not mind control or brainwashing How everyday moments of zoning out or daydreaming can resemble a hypnotic state The difference between the conscious mind and the subconscious mind How old emotional patterns can become automatic responses Why the subconscious mind may treat old pain as present danger How hypnotherapy can work with feeling states without searching for false or forced memories Why changing subconscious "instructions" can help people respond differently in the present Stay Connected & Explore Learn More About Craig Meriwether: Craig Meriwether: https://craigmeriwether.com/ Release the Past: https://releasethepast.com/ Ace Any Test: https://aceanytest.com/ Connect with Conversations with a Chiropractor: Follow Us on YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/@ConversationswithaChiro Follow Dr. Stephanie on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/wautierwellness Email for show-related inquiries and sponsorships: drstephaniewautier@yahoo.com Want to be a guest on Conversations with a Chiropractor?
