This week, we're sharing an episode from Olympic medalist and cross-country skiing legend Jessie Diggins, which originally aired in 2025. Jessie opens up about her journey to the top of her sport, what it’s like to embrace the intense pressure of elite competition, and how she pushes herself to her physical breaking point — sharing vivid details of the "blurry vision" and sheer grit required to win. She also gets candid about her mental health journey, specifically her experience with an eating disorder and a relapse in 2024, discussing what support looks like in her daily life today. When we had this conversation — there was just under a year left until the Winter Olympics, and Jessie reflected on training in Italy, her recent World Cup wins, and her decision to retire at the end of 2026. IN THIS EPISODE The Physical Breaking Point: Jessie describes the sensation of pushing her body to its absolute limits during a race, including the "blurry vision" that often accompanies her hardest efforts. Mental Health & Recovery: A vulnerable discussion on her history with an eating disorder, navigating a relapse in 2024, and the importance of a strong support system. The Final Stretch: Jessie shares her mindset heading into her final Olympic run in Milan-Cortina and why she has decided to retire after the 2026 season. Legacy & Integrity: Reflecting on being awarded the Holmenkollen Medal, Jessie explains why racing with integrity and being a role model outside of the sport is as important to her as her results on the snow. Training Philosophy: How she and her team plan "super peaks" every four years for the Olympics and the unexpected benefits of "toe yoga." QUOTABLE MOMENTS "I’ve realized that I don’t have to be a perfect person to be a good role model. I just have to be an honest one." "The 'pain cave' is a place I know well, but I’ve learned that you can’t live there. You have to have a home to come back to that is full of joy and balance." "Winning is amazing, but it’s the feeling of crossing the line knowing you gave every single thing you had—that’s the part that stays with you." "I want the next generation of skiers to see that you can be the best in the world and still be a human being who struggles and asks for help." Send a textIn this episode, I sit down with Kristina Morros, a former critical care nurse anesthetist and the founder of Get Healthy or Get Dead.Kristina shares her journey from working inside the medical system to advocating for functional medicine, patient education, and personal responsibility in health. We talk openly about where the healthcare system works well — especially in emergencies — and where it falls short when it comes to creating long-term health.Kristina explains why focusing on root causes like gut health, hormones, stress, sleep, hydration, and movement matters more than chasing quick fixes or health trends. We also discuss how stress and nervous system regulation are still widely underestimated, and why modern life keeps so many people stuck in a constant state of overload. We touch on the pandemic, misinformation, and why so many people have lost trust in institutions — and how that makes it even more important to stay curious, ask questions, and take an active role in your own health decisions. This conversation is about balance, awareness, and getting back to basics. Not extremes. Not perfection. Just honest, practical steps toward feeling better and staying healthy long term.If you've ever felt overwhelmed by conflicting health advice or unsure who to trust, this episode will help you zoom out, think critically, and reconnect with what really matters.Find Kristina Morros here:Website & coaching:https://kristinamorros.com https://gethealthyorgetdead.comBook + resources:https://gethealthyorgetdead.comSubstack:https://gethealthyorgetdead.substack.comInstagram: @gethealthyorgetdead

The United States is officially out of the World Health Organization and it is long overdue. On this episode of Stinchfield we expose the WHO for what it really is a group of leftist controlagarchs obsessed with power money and stripping away American sovereignty. Nothing coming out of the WHO was ever rooted in real science. From lockdowns to mandates it was politics disguised as medicine while the organization climbed into bed with Big Pharma and silenced doctors who questioned the narrative. World renowned cardiologist and epidemiologist Dr Peter McCullough joins me to explain how the WHO abandoned science suppressed truth and attempted to turn the United States into a compliance state. This is the real reason America walked away and why we should never go back. As an emergency physician who transitioned into sexual health technology, I believe the Think Fitness Life audience would appreciate a fresh perspective on how erectile fitness intersects with overall health. After over 25 years in medicine and founding multiple healthcare ventures, I've focused on developing FirmTech's TechRing, the first FDA-registered smart device to objectively monitor nocturnal erections as early signals of cardiovascular status. We've collected data from more than 100,000 erections, making our database the largest of its kind. The TechRing's ability to track the 3-5 nightly erections in healthy men offers powerful insights, connecting sexual health with performance and longevity. This approach challenges the pill-first mindset and instead empowers men to use meaningful, actionable data. I've had the privilege to discuss this on over 200 podcasts so far, and the feedback underscores a genuine need for conversations that make men's health accessible and relevant. FirmTech has been recognized with the Healthcare Business Award from the Science and Engineering Health Technologies Alliance and was runner up for Innovation at CESShowstoppers, reflecting the significance of our work. What happens when religion is used to divide rather than unite? In this episode of The Greatness Machine, Darius Mirshahzadeh talks with comedian, actor, and political commentator John Fugelsang about his book “Separation of Church and Hate”. John shares how his progressive Catholic upbringing shaped his voice as a comedian and commentator and explores how fundamentalist movements have often twisted Christianity for power, far from the teachings of Jesus. This episode also dives into navigating polarized opinions and understanding the real message of faith to think critically and lead with integrity. This solo episode is a candid reflection sparked by my chat with Amy Bradley Radford on her podcast Massage. Business. Success. The thoughtful questions Amy prepared created space for real reflection — the kind we rarely slow down enough to do.I wanted to share more in this episode about what it means when your business quietly becomes the boss, how defining success as a full schedule can limit freedom, and why ownership (even as an independent contractor) changes everything. I also share a behind-the-scenes update on her upcoming meeting with an Ontario MPP regarding OCF-18 forms, how I prepared, and what advocating for our profession actually looks like in real life working alongside the RMTAO.This episode is about leadership, responsibility, mentorship, and building a massage career that supports time freedom, financial security, flexibility, and joy outside the treatment room — not one that quietly drains it.This Episode is brought to you by Jane.app
After 13 years of fighting in the Low Countries, Maximilian, the newly elected king of the Roman, returns home to a rammed full inbox. There is his cousin, the dissolute count Sigismund of Tyrol who is about to sell out the family fortune to the dukes of Bavaria. The king of Hungary is still occupying Vienna – and there is a new heiress out on the market, Anne of Brittanny. Some of the issues he tackles together with his now seriously elderly father, the emperor Friedrich III, others are very much his own tasks. In the process Friedrich creates a structurally new political entity, the Swabian League, Maximilian builds a relationship with Jakob Fugger, the money man who will grease the cogs of the Habsburg empire, and once again they fight, one battle after another. And despite tremendous success, this period from 1489 to 1493, ends with some epic humiliation, not in war, but in love. “No man on earth has ever been disgraced as I have been at the hands of the French” is how he summarised it.Come along and watch as the plot thickens. The music for the show is Flute Sonata in E-flat major, H.545 by Carl Phillip Emmanuel Bach (or some claim it as BWV 1031 Johann Sebastian Bach) performed and arranged by Michel Rondeau under Common Creative Licence 3.0.As always:Homepage with maps, photos, transcripts and blog: www.historyofthegermans.comIf you wish to support the show go to: Support • History of the Germans PodcastFacebook: @HOTGPod Threads: @history_of_the_germans_podcastBluesky: @hotgpod.bsky.socialInstagram: history_of_the_germansTwitter: @germanshistoryTo make it easier for you to share the podcast, I have created separate playlists for some of the seasons that are set up as individual podcasts. they have the exact same episodes as in the History of the Germans, but they may be a helpful device for those who want to concentrate on only one season. In this episode of Exploring A Course in Miracles, Emily & Robert Perry sit down with New York Times bestselling author and Sirius XM host John Fugelsang to explore his insightful new book, Separation of Church and Hate: A Sane Person's Guide to Taking Back the Bible from Fundamentalists, Fascists, and Flock-Fleecing Frauds*. John has spent years unpacking how the teachings of Jesus have been distorted by Christian nationalism—and why reclaiming Jesus' message of love, justice, and human dignity is more urgent than ever. Along the way, there is a reflection on the surprising overlap between John's biblical insights and the message of A Course in Miracles—especially the emphasis on refusing to meet hatred with more hatred. ___________________________ Since 1993, our purpose has been to help with both the theory and practical application of A Course in Miracles. 2026: The Year to Reset — Taking Back Our Lives, Not Just Our Politics | The Karel Show They say insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result. For many Americans, the past several years have felt exactly like that. Donald Trump has made daily life exhausting for anyone who isn't MAGA. Every day brings a new outrage. Every day he takes up more space in our heads. Every day the dark cloud he creates seeps into our lives, our relationships, and our sense of self. But here's the truth: you can fly above those clouds. And above them, there is still sunlight. I've lived under that cloud for nearly a decade — watching a country spin out of control — and I've become someone I no longer want to be. Angry. Reactive. Consumed. Like Peter Finch's character in Network, mad as hell and not willing to take it anymore. But rage alone doesn't win. Purpose does. It's time to be more like Stephen Colbert or Jimmy Kimmel — fully aware of what's happening, but refusing to let anger hollow us out. It's time for America to hit the hard reset. We can still take our country back — through elections, protests, Congress, and the courts. And if that fight fails, we face that reality when it comes. But we don't live every day in fury while we wait. Yes, the economy is hurting people. Food prices are soaring. Violence fills the headlines. None of that is imaginary. But if we let Trump take our joy, our compassion, our humanity — then he wins something far bigger than an election. That ends now. For me. And maybe for you, too. Episode 5059: Taking Back Texas; Stopping The Sharia Movement
This is a raw, unfiltered breakdown of how modern media, politics, and digital platforms profit from fear, outrage, and division. The speaker walks through how traditional news, social media influencers, political parties, and algorithms all operate on the same business model, emotional hijacking. You will hear a clear explanation of why headlines are framed to provoke, why outrage spreads faster than truth, and how people are slowly trained to stop thinking, stop questioning, and start fighting each other instead. The video connects media manipulation to real-world consequences like broken relationships, polarized families, overstimulated nervous systems, and the loss of empathy and curiosity in everyday conversations What you can expect is not a partisan rant, but a deeper look at power, incentives, and accountability. The video challenges left versus right thinking and reframes the issue as people versus systems that benefit from chaos, debt, inflation, and distraction. It explores government spending, term limits, insider trading, lobbying, and currency devaluation while tying all of it back to personal responsibility, emotional regulation, and the ability to have honest conversations without hatred. If you feel overwhelmed by the news, tired of culture wars, or frustrated by how divided society has become, this video is designed to help you slow down, see the manipulation clearly, and reclaim your ability to think, connect, and engage without being emotionally controlled.Disclaimer: We are not professionals. “My music is my freedom. It's my currency. It's who I am.” — Violetta Zironi In the streaming era, the economics of music can feel impossible to reconcile with the dream artists are sold. Early success can open doors, but it can also subtly close off parts of you. In 2013, singer-songwriter Violetta Zironi reached the final of X Factor Italy and stepped into the traditional music machine: visibility, expectations, and the pressure to become a version of yourself that is forced to perform inside someone else's system. In this episode of Object Subject Form, singer-songwriter Violetta Zironi joins Simon Clowes to openly discuss the hidden cost of early “success” in the traditional music industry, and what it took to rebuild a sustainable career outside of the gatekeeper model. The conversation covers the economics of streaming, the emotional toll of chasing visibility, and the mindset shift that led her to explore music ownership on the blockchain. They discuss what “community as infrastructure” looks like in practice, why ownership changes the emotional contract between artist and audience, and how blockchain technology can support a more direct, human model for music. For any creative navigating platforms, pressure, and the feeling that “success” is starting to misalign you, this conversation is a reminder: the goal is not to grow at any cost. It's to build something you can grow without losing yourself. – Connect with Violetta on X: https://x.com/violettazironi – Violetta's Website: https://www.violettazironi.com/ – Connect with Simon on LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/simonclowes/ – Object Subject Form on Instagram: https://instagram.com/objectsubjectform

In this episode, Bill talks with John Fugelsang about his new book, Separation of Church and Hate: A Sane Person's Guide to Taking Back the Bible from Fundamentalists, Fascists, and Flock-Fleecing Frauds. The discussion focuses on what it really means to follow the teachings of Jesus Christ and critiques the hypocrisy of the religious right. Fugelsang argues that fundamentalists have hijacked Christianity, using it to justify hateful and exclusionary policies while ignoring the core messages of Jesus about love, humility, and service to others. He also addresses hot-button issues like abortion, immigration, and LGBTQ rights, tying each back to scripture to expose the contradictions in right-wing Christian rhetoric. The conversation ends by highlighting progressive Christians and leaders who are working to reclaim Christianity from the clutches of fundamentalism. You can purchase his great book here.Today's Bill Press Pod is supported by The Ironworkers Union. As everyone is seeing their electricity bills rise, the opportunity to speak with Our Power Maine came up. I'm speaking with the Executive Director Seth Berry, and Policy and Communications Fellow Isabelle Winstead - just days after they succeeded in pausing what seemed to many as a huge increase in Maine's CMP (Central Maine Power) rates. It's historic to halt the monopoly of a utility like this, and they are very happy to share why they are so passionate about helping Mainers to have other options. And don't feel left out if you're not in Maine - Our Power is in several states, and even if not, you can reach out to Our Power Maine and they'll get you in touch with someone to help.Seth and Our Power Maine are focused on transparency and energy democracy, and with good reason. Email us: Will@faithfulpoliticspodcast.comIn this wide-ranging and deeply personal conversation, Will Wright sits down with comedian, broadcaster, and author John Fugelsang to unpack how Christianity became entangled with political power - and how the teachings of Jesus have been distorted to justify cruelty, exclusion, and authoritarianism.Drawing from his book Separation of Church and Hate, Fugelsang challenges the idea that modern right-wing politics reflect Christian values. He walks through how scripture is selectively weaponized around issues like immigration, LGBTQ rights, abortion, gun policy, and punishment, while the actual teachings of Jesus - care for the poor, welcome the stranger, reject violence, and show mercy - are ignored. The discussion moves beyond critique and toward hope. Fugelsang reflects on his unusual upbringing as the son of a former nun and Franciscan brother, his journey through faith and doubt, and why he still believes Jesus matters even for people who have deconstructed organized religion. Together, Will and John explore what a healthier relationship between faith and public life could look like - one rooted in compassion rather than dominance, and transformation rather than fear. This episode is an honest, challenging, and often humorous examination of what it really means to follow Jesus in a polarized political age. Learn how to take back control of your Amazon PPC, fix costly agency mistakes, and use rules-based ads plus new Sponsored Products video formats to scale profitably on Amazon. In this episode of the AM/PM Podcast, Bradley dives into one of the biggest pitfalls he sees Amazon sellers fall into: handing their PPC over to an agency before they truly understand how advertising works. That loss of control doesn't just cost money; it keeps you in the dark on whether your campaigns are actually growing your brand or quietly draining profits in the background. To prove it, he spotlights a real case study from the new Helium 10 Outsourced to Optimized series. Helium 10's own Carrie Miller and Destaney Wishon from BetterAMS walk through what happened when they opened Carrie's account: profitable campaigns randomly shut off, creatives that didn't match search intent, and VCPM display campaigns that looked like rock stars in the dashboard but weren't driving incremental sales. From there, they rebuild the entire strategy on the fundamentals: a clean campaign structure, SKUs grouped intelligently, 10-30 targets per campaign, and rules-based bid management tied to real business objectives, such as organic rank, BSR, and strict ACoS targets. Throughout the conversation, you'll see how a self-described “non-PPC person” can learn to manage sophisticated Amazon ads with the help of Helium 10 Ads and their Ads Academy training. Destaney shows Carrie how to utilize bid rules, keyword harvesting, negative targeting, and Amazon's newer tools, such as Creative Studio and Sponsored Products video ads, without turning PPC into a full-time job. They also break down off-season strategies, what to fix when you're getting impressions but no conversions, and how much of your revenue should realistically flow back into ads. The big takeaway: whether you keep an agency, lean on software, or run everything yourself, you need to understand the basics of Amazon PPC so you can keep partners accountable and finally take back control of your Amazon advertising. In episode 479 of the AM/PM Podcast, Bradley, Carrie, and Destaney discuss: 00:00 – Introduction 05:48 – Carrie's Amazon PPC Agency Issues 07:19 – Carrie Learns PPC From Scratch 10:23 – Rules-Based Bidding With Helium 10 Ads 14:24 – When To Automate Your Amazon Ads 18:11 – Scalable Campaign Structure For Sellers 23:16 – Single-Keyword Campaigns & Dayparting 28:36 – Keyword-Specific Creatives & Creative Studio 30:54 – Off-Season Strategy & Fixing Conversions 33:08 – Sponsored Product Video Ads Launch 36:00 – Scaling Benchmarks & Ad Spend Targets 40:09 – Final PPC Lessons & Next Step
Homeschooling isn't just about math lessons and reading charts. It's about who gets to shape how your kids see the world.Dr. Jonathan Newman joins Cheryl Daley on The Homeschool How To Podcast to break down why he and his wife chose to keep their kids out of government schools, how they approach reading and “adulting” skills at home, and why there's really no such thing as a “neutral” education. The original episode is available at https://open.spotify.com/episode/0mZzkKFr5RPKO3RAldMZNM
In Part 2 of this two-part Echo Episode, Dr. Andrea Austin and Dr. Mehrdad Soleimani picks up right where they left off: two emergency physicians who actually like coming to work, unpacking the systemic forces that are burning everyone else out. Dr. Mehrdad explains why he co-founded NeoMd Spa. It started with one vial of Botox and a refusal to be a 60-year-old shift-worker, how physicians surrendered control of their profession to corporations, and why financial wellness is the missing pillar no one talks about. Dr. Andrea and Dr. Mehrdad wrestle with the death of the democratic group, the rise of corporate metrics, and the urgent need for physicians to reclaim leadership, unity, and their voices.Wrapped in stories of cross-specialty happy hours, Peloton-fueled pandemic survival, and a beautiful real-time patient handoff, this episode is a rallying cry: stop complaining, start building, stay connected, and never forget, we are all members of one body. You'll Hear How They:· Expose the financial traps that keep high-earning physicians living paycheck-to-paycheck and overworking· Reveal why every single guest this season has a “side gig” — and why that's now a survival strategy· Break down the shift from physician-owned democratic groups to corporate medicine (and what we lost)· Show how one med-spa became a hedge against burnout and a reclaiming of professional autonomy· Prove that culture change happens in 10-minute handoffs and cross-specialty happy hours, not just policy memos· Issue a call for physician unity, leadership, and using your voice before you end up “on the menu”About the Guest“Just because I was born a man doesn't mean I'm better than anybody else.” — Dr. Mehrdad SoleimaniDr. Mehrdad Soleimani is a board-certified emergency physician, Assistant Director of the Emergency Department at Temecula Valley Hospital, and Chair of the hospital's Physician Wellness Committee. A former critical-care nurse, general surgery resident, proud girl-dad of three, and co-owner/medical director of NeoMed Spa, Mehrdad brings a rare blend of clinical expertise, emotional intelligence, and lived experience as an immigrant to his passionate advocacy for physician wellness and gender equity.Website: https://neomedicalspa.comResources + Mentions· NEOMD Spa – https://neomedicalspa.com· Financial wellness as a pillar of physician well-being· Visible Voices podcast with Dr. Risa Lavizzo-Mourey (“Use your voice”)· Persianpoetry: “Human beings are members of a whole…”Top 3 Key TakeawaysFinancial wellness is physician wellness : Stop the “just pick up one more shift” cycle and build something that gives you passive income and freedom. We gave away control of our profession: if you want autonomy back, you have to own something (a practice, a business, a voice at the table).Culture is built in the small moments: A thoughtful handoff, a happy hour with ortho, inviting the security guard to break bread , these are the ripples that change everything.
Homeschooling isn't just about math lessons and reading charts—it's about who gets to shape how your kids see the world. In this episode, I'm joined by Dr. Jonathan Newman from the Mises Institute, a homeschooling dad, economist, and libertarian who breaks down why he and his wife chose to keep their kids out of government schools, how they approach reading and “adulting” skills at home, and why there's really no such thing as a “neutral” education. We talk about:Teaching kids to read with Teach Your Child to Read in 100 Easy Lessons—and why it works for some kids and not othersThe big differences between boys and girls when it comes to focus, readiness, and timelinesWhy homeschooling is so much more efficient than public school (and what to do with all that extra time together)The “adulting crisis” and how kids actually learn real-life skills like changing a tire, paying bills, and mailing a letterWhat Austrian economics is, why the Mises Institute exists, and how Jonathan teaches multiple perspectives instead of one government-approved narrativeCapitalism vs. socialism, and why socialist systems struggle to get food, prices, and production rightIndoctrination, values, and why parents—not the state—should decide which ideas get center stage in their child's educationIf you're a Christian, liberty-minded, or simply skeptical of the one-size-fits-all system and the stories your kids are being told about history, money, and government, this conversation will give you a lot to think about.Follow Dr. Jonathan Newman on X - @NewmanJ_RDiscover free books, articles, and lectures on economics and liberty at Mises.orgLearn more about Green Ember: Helmer in the Dragon Tomb—the new prequel book from S. In the early 90's, at the height of the infomercial craze, Susan Powter's “Stop the Insanity” program of weight loss and nutrition was worth $276 million, equal to over half a billion dollars today. A new documentary from filmmaker Zeberiah Newman entitled “Stop the Insanity: Finding Susan Powter” (available Dec. 9 on Apple TV, Prime Video, and other platforms) examines what happened to the motivational icon after walking away from fame. Susan joins me to talk about the origins of “Stop the Insanity”; falling into poverty and struggling to make ends meet; making a horrible deal with producers, which left her fighting for control of her own name; and how much of her identity was wrapped up into that spiky blond buzzcut. In this episode of the Red Delta Project Podcast, we dig into one of the biggest hidden obstacles in modern fitness culture: outsourcing control. Most people get into fitness because they want more agency over how their body looks, feels, and performs. Yet ironically, the industry often convinces us that we can't trust ourselves—and must hand our power over to programs, gurus, influencers, and external “rules.”Today, we break that cycle.Matt explores why relying too heavily on external diets, training plans, and expert opinions can erode self-worth, create dependence, and ultimately sabotage long-term consistency. Using analogies ranging from school systems to skin grafts, he explains why solutions built from your experience, feedback, and judgment always work better than one-size-fits-all answers. You'll learn: • Why chasing “perfect programs” limits your freedom and progress • How self-reliance in fitness builds confidence in all areas of life • Why personal experience is the most valuable form of evidence • The difference between using experts for guidance vs. outsourcing your power • How to escape paralysis-by-analysis and start trusting your own feedback • Why consistency explodes when your fitness habits feel like they belong to youMatt also answers live listener questions on training setbacks, isometrics, resistance bands, Turkish get-ups, and how to restart your fitness journey after a tough year.If you're ready to reclaim control over your health, training, and self-confidence—and stop letting external voices steer your ship—this is your episode.

Halloween has become commercial holiday in the United States. Behind the masks, the costumes and the candy is a very dark and very active reality. More children are sacrificed on Halloween than another day of the year. More spells are cast than other day of the year. Halloween for so many is just day to get dressed up; for the occult it is a day to call forth the darkness. Take this day to pray, proclaim Jesus and stand for light. Description: The number of people who have said, ‘Jen, you and John Fugelsang should have a conversation' is approximately one thousand. So naturally, we thought, let's have that conversation where a million listeners can tune in and enjoy it too. Strap yourself in for a wild ride as Jen Hatmaker chats with the ever-entertaining comedian, actor and broadcaster, John Fugelsang, host of the Tell Me Everything series on SiriusXM Progress and The John Fugelsang Podcast. In this episode, they tackle the delightful chaos of breezy topics like Christian nationalism, the real teachings of Jesus (spoiler: it's not about power), and why love trumps all—literally. With his signature blend of humor and razor-sharp insight, John dishes on his book, "Separation of Church and Hate," and why it's time to take back the Bible from the fundamentalist fun police. Get ready for a conversation that's as enlightening as a Sunday sermon, but way more fun. Whether you consider yourself religious, spiritual, atheistic, or just allergic to hypocrisy, THIS is the episode for you. Tune in, laugh, and maybe learn a thing or two! Thought-provoking Quotes: “I think the largest growing demographic we don't talk about is people who were raised religious but now consider themselves spiritual. They're not turned off to spirituality or God or Jesus or belief. They love the great mystery, but they're really turned off to the hypocrisies and the cruelties and the meanness of so many church communities in this country.” – John Fugelsang “ was raised to believe that Christianity was about the stuff that Christ taught and commanded: service to others, humility, love, acceptance, empathy, forgiving your enemies, turning the other cheek, replacing eye-for-an-eye. And the teachings of Jesus in Matthew 25, that individuals and nations are going to be judged by how they care for the poor, care for the sick, welcome the stranger, and care for the incarcerated. That's the stuff Jesus actually talked about.” – John Fugelsang “American Christians have been manipulated with all this homophobia, all this hatred of immigrants and none of that comes from Jesus and it's been done by a political movement that is only about power. Conservative Christian power, not the teachings of Christ, not the religious freedom, not fighting Satan, conservative Christian power.” – John Fugelsang “If Jesus spoke in parable and metaphor, why is it so hard to view the Bible as parable and metaphor? We get so hung up on proving the facts of the Bible that we miss the truth of the Bible. And the Bible has a lot of truth. It does not have a lot of facts.” – John Fugelsang Resources Mentioned in This Episode: Separation of Church and Hate: A Sane Person's Guide to Taking Back the Bible from Fundamentalists, Fascists, and Flock-Fleecing Frauds by John Fugelsang - https://amzn.to/4husQF3 Tell Me Everything with John Fugelsang on SiriusXM - https://www.siriusxm.com/blog/tag/john-fugelsang John's Links: Website - https://www.johnfugelsang.com/ Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/johnfugelsang/ Twitter - https://x.com/JohnFugelsang Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/john.fugelsang.9 Youtube - https://www.youtube.com/@JJbirdsong1 Substack - https://johnfugelsang.substack.com/ Podcast - https://www.johnfugelsang.com/podcast Connect with Jen!Jen's Website - https://jenhatmaker.com/ Jen's Instagram - https://instagram.com/jenhatmakerJen's Twitter - https://twitter.com/jenHatmaker/ Jen's Facebook - https://facebook.com/jenhatmakerJen's YouTube - https://www.youtube.com/user/JenHatmaker The For the Love Podcast is presented by Audacy.
