Zach and Brian are joined by Ryan Breeden from the Stillwater News Press and Triple Play Sports Radio. The Cowboys' rough season continued last week as they dropped a fourth-straight loss in Big 12 play, with Baylor on the horizon. The last time the Pokes lost five-straight games was 2014, which was capped by a loss to Baylor in Waco. The guys take a look at the losing skid and try to predict if it'll end this weekend as the Bears host the Pokes for homecoming.

Zach and Brian take a look back at and break down the 22-19 loss to Utah this past weekend. It was the most important game on the Pokes' schedule, but now the game against Kansas State is now more important following the loss.

Zach and Brian put a bow on the Arkansas game and look ahead to the match up against Tulsa. The Pokes are looking to start the season 3-0 and extend their winning streak over the Golden Hurricane. The guys also talk about the renewal of the Bedlam basketball series as the Pokes and Sooners face off in Oklahoma City December 14.

Zach and Brian are back at it with a preview of Oklahoma State's season opener against South Dakota State. This is one of the more complete and sound teams Mike Gundy has had going into a season, so the guys discuss how the Pokes should fare against Jimmy Rogers' Jackrabbits, who have won 29-straight games and two-straight FCS national championships.

Zach and Brian put a bow on Oklahoma State's come-from-behind 2OT win over BYU this past weekend to make it to their second Big 12 title game in the last three seasons. So, naturally, they preview the match-up against No. 7 Texas.

Zach and Brian discuss the 45-3 loss to UCF last weekend, while looking ahead to the first showdown with Houston since 2009. Can the Pokes bounce back with a win to stay in the Big 12 title hunt? 

Zach and Brian are back with another episode of the Pokes Report Podcast, this one coming after the 27-24 Bedlam upset of No. 9 Oklahoma this past weekend. The Cowboys posted nearly 500 yards of total offense, the defense recorded multiple turnovers and the Pokes are now moving on to UCF and the Space Game.

Zach and Brian execute Episode 66, the Homecoming preview. The Pokes are coming off an impressive 48-34 road win over West Virginia, which included a four-touchdown, 282-yard performance from Ollie Gordon. Newly minted Big 12 team Cincinnati rolls into town for the Bearcats' first taste of Homecoming in Stillwater. Can the Cowboys make it four-straight wins in Big 12 play, and can Ollie continue his impressive run towards best running back, and dare we say best offensive player in college football? We'll find out Saturday evening at 7.

Zach and Brian break down the Pokes' win over No. 23 Kansas this past weekend, which included a national award-winning performance by Ollie Gordon. The Pokes are back out onto the road this weekend as they travel up to Morgantown to face West Virginia. 

Zach and Brian discuss Oklahoma State's 29-21 win over Kansas, while looking ahead to the upcoming Kansas game this weekend. The Cowboys played as well as they had all season against the Wildcats and will be looking to carry over to Saturday's game.

Zach and Brian are back at it this week as Oklahoma State is set to face Kansas State on Friday, Oct. 6. Unusual Friday Big 12 game, but the Pokes are coming off an open week which has been described as tough and physical, Mike Gundy's said the team's tackling in practice and Alan Bowman's been named the starter. 

Zach and Brian talk the 34-27 road loss to Iowa State this past weekend to open Big 12 play. Quarterback Alan Bowman was named the starting quarterback prior to the start of the game and played every offensive snap. So, thta guys talk his performance, as well as the run game and the defensive showing from the Pokes heading into the bye week.

Zach and Brian discuss the 33-7 home loss to South Alabama this past weekend, while also looking ahead to the Pokes' Big 12 Conference opener. The Cowboy coaching staff plan on using a three-quarterback system against the Cyclones, while also trying to work out the issues with the offensive line and the run game. Can the Cowboys come out of Ames, IA, with a win? The guys try and figure that out.

Zach and Brian talk the 27-15 win over Arizona State, the highs and the lows, while taking a look ahead to the third and final early season non-conference game, this one against South Alabama. The Pokes are 2-0 to start the season. Are we closer to having an official starting quarterback? Are the Pokes closer to having the offensive line and run game figured out? Will the defense keep up its solid play? It's going to be fun to find out.

Zach and Brian take a look back at Oklahoma State's season opener against Central Arkansas, while using those results to preview the upcoming game against soon-to-be Big 12 opponent, Arizona State. The Pokes beat Central Arkansas, 27-13, while the Sun Devils squeaked out a win over Southern Utah, 27-24, at home.

Zach and Brian talk with Oklahoma State Senior Associate AD / Development, Larry Reece. The guys dive into Larry's time with the athletic department, some of his favorite names to call over the years and what his game day routines and duties are. They also take a deep dive into the massive improvements and upgrades the athletic facilities have seen over the last 25 years and the future developments.

It's time for another episode of the Pokes Report Podcast! Zach and Brian met up with Jon Walker of the Stillwater News Press to discuss Oklahoma State's 2023 Fall Camp kicking off on Aug. 2. Gundy and Co. will have a new-look offense with transfer QB Alan Bowman and a handful of new receivers. The defense also has a new look as Gundy added new defensive coordinator, Bryan Nardo. However, the Pokes return a decent amount of starters, such as Collin Oliver, Kendal Daniels and Korie Black to name a few.

Zach and Brian talk a little post-spring football, including a potential quarterback battle going into fall camp and how the Cowboys are looking after everything with the transfer portal settled down. They also talked a little Cowboy baseball and softball, but some of the baseball talk is just a little dated as the Bedlam series is coming to close on Saturday evening.

Zach and Brian discuss the end of spring football for Oklahoma State, including position battles amongst the returners and newcomers, the transfer portal, as well as the latest commitment in the 2024 class, Mansfield (TX) Legacy DB, Landyn Cleveland. They also discuss Cowboy basketball's latest commitment, East Carolina transfer guard, Javon Small.

Zach and Brian had the opportunity to sit down with Oklahoma State guard John-Michael Wright on Friday in Gallagher-Iba Arena. They discussed Wright's college basketball journey, including his high school recruiting process that led him to High Point, then his transfer portal experience which led him to Stillwater and Oklahoma State. They also talked about the differences between playing at High Point and Oklahoma State in the Big 12, what led him to make his decision to play one more season with Mike Boynton and some of the main differences between Fayetteville, N.C. and Stillwater, OK cuisine. This is just a few of the topics the guys got into, so be sure and get comfortable, because this is fun!

Zach and Brian talk Oklahoma State football as the Cowboys are in their second full week of spring practice. They also held their annual Pro Day on Wednesday, with Jason Taylor II, Brock Martin, Braydon Johnson and Matt Hembrough posting some impressive numbers. The guys also talk a little Cowboy baseball.

Zach and Brian take a dive in the Oklahoma State men's basketball team's struggles the past few weeks, which have led to the Pokes missing out on the NCAA tournament and being tabbed the No. 1 overall seed in the 2023 NIT. They beat Youngstown State on the road, 69-64, but will now look to get past a solid Eastern Washington team. They guys also discuss Cowgirl basketball's trip to the NCAA tournament and the early season successes of Cowboy baseball and Cowgirl softball.

Zach and Brian discuss Oklahoma State round ball sports. Cowboy baseball threw a combined no-hitter against Cal Baptist, the program's first combined no-hitter since 1993. As for softball, the Cowgirls have started the season 8-1, including four run-rule wins in five games down in Florida in the TaxAct Clearwater Invitational. The fifth win was 10-9 over No. 8 Virginia Tech.

Zach and Brian are joined by former longtime Oklahoma State radio announcer, Tom Dirato to discuss the start of the 2023 season for Cowboy baseball. The Pokes kick things off on Feb. 17 against Missouri in the College Baseball Showdown at Globe Life Field in Arlington, TX. TD goes through the defensive roster, both the rotation and the bullpen, as well as gives a preview of what the Pokes' offensive efforts could look like this season.

Zach and Brian are once again joined by Stillwater News Press writer, and football analysis aficionado, Jon Walker. The guys talk about the new defensive coordinator hire Bryan Nardo and what it could mean for the Pokes in the upcoming 2023 season.

Zach and Brian talk Oklahoma State basketball's 72-56 win over Oklahoma this past week before diving into some talk on Cowboy football. They discuss the transfer portal additions who are fixing to go through offseason winter workouts, as well as the direction Mike Gundy could look to add a new defensive coordinator.

Zach and Brian preview Oklahoma State's 2023 signing class. National Signing Day 2023 is set to being on Wednesday, December 21, and as it stands right now, the Cowboys will be signing at least 16 high school and JUCO prospects.

Zach and Brian are joined by Stillwater News Press beat reporter Jon Walker to discuss the opening of the transfer portal window on Monday and the selection of former Oklahoma State players who entered their names into the portal.

Zach and Brian put a bow on the regular season and discuss the highs and the lows. They also take a look at the transfer portal and also put together a recruiting wish list.

Zach and Brian look ahead to the Senior Day match up against West Virginia and discuss the players Oklahoma State will be honoring. They also answer fan questions, which included trying to figure out which players who are walking during the Senior Day ceremony on Saturday will return for another year.

Zach and Brian discuss Oklahoma State's upcoming Bedlam match-up with Oklahoma. The Cowboys are coming off a 20-14 home win over Iowa State, while the Sooners are coming off a 23-20 loss to West Virginia on the road in Morgantown, WV. Can the Cowboys go into Norman and beat the Sooners for a second-straight season?

Brian and Zach had the opportunity to talk with one of the biggest names on the country music scene, Storme Warren. Warren is the host of SiriusXM show 'The Highway', as well as his podcast called 'Exit 209.' They dive into several topics, including Storme's journey to becoming one of the main voices of the country music scene and of Nashville. They also discussed Storme's connection to Oklahoma State and Stillwater, which began in the late 1940s. Storme's father played football for Oklahoma A&M from 1949-53. So, the love and passion for Oklahoma State runs deep in the Warren family.

Zach and Brian had a the chance to sit down with Mike Boynton ahead of Big 12 Basketball Media Days to discuss the upcoming 2022-23 season. They got into a number of topics, including the returning starters, newcomers and improvements the team and individuals have seen in the offseason.

Zach and Brian take a look ahead to the Cowboys' road game against Kansas. It was a rough week last week as the Pokes lost to K-State, 48-0. They talk about injuries, what can be done to avoid another loss, as well as what the offense could look like with Gunnar Gundy at the helm if Spencer Sanders isn't able to go.

Zach and Brian discuss Oklahoma State's first loss of the season, a 43-40 2OT loss this past weekend to TCU. There were some good moments and some bad moments, all of which needed addressed. They also take a quick look ahead to a top-20 Homecoming showdown against Texas on Oct. 22.

Zach and Brian look ahead to Oklahoma State's game against TCU on Oct. 15. Both the Cowboys and Horned Frogs are 5-0 on the season, 2-0 in Big 12 play and ranked inside the AP top 15. Can the Cowboys go down to Fort Worth and pick up a win in Amon G. Carter Stadium for the first time since 2016?

Zach and Brian discuss Oklahoma State's 36-25 Big 12 road win over Baylor. With the win, the Cowboys moved to 4-0 on the season and 1-0 in Big 12 play. Up next for the Pokes, they'll play host to the Texas Tech Red Raiders on Saturday, Oct. 8. The guys do a quick look ahead at the match-up, while taking a look around the Big 12.

It's an open week for Oklahoma State, so Zach and Brian breakdown the Pokes' performance against Arkansas-Pine Bluff, including the benefits of getting the young guys plenty of reps, as well as looking at how beneficial an open week is leading into the start of Big 12 play against Baylor on Oct. 1.

This is an exciting episode of the Pokes Report Podcast as Zach and Brian are joined by Oklahoma State University President Dr. Kayse Shrum and her husband, First Cowboy Darren Shrum. A number of topics were discussed, including conference expansion/realignment and how the success of Cowboy football is playing a role, the largest freshman class in school history, Dr. Shrum's first full year as President and the new conference commissioner, Brett Yormark. Zach and Brian talked with longtime Oklahoma State media member, Tom Dirato on this week's episode of the Pokes Report Podcast. The guys take a deep dive with Dirato, who was the longtime color voice for both Cowboy football and basketball, into both the football and basketball teams. With basketball season right around the corner, Dirato broke down what this year's team could look like. OSU football is honoring both the 2002 football team and Heisman runner-up and 2022 College Football Hall of Fame inductee, Terry Miller. So, Tom gives his thoughts on Miller's career and what the current team needs to improve upon as we move into the Arizona State game and throughout the season.

Zach and Brian started a new series in this week's podcast: Great, Good, Bad and Ugly. They breakdown Oklahoma State's 58-44 win over Central Michigan in the season opener on Thursday, while going over which performances were Great, Good Bad and Ugly.
