Mike Gioseffi takes a deep dive into flipping singles, the rapid growth of SCN's singles business, what he's learned from moving serious volume on eBay Live. Plus, why selectivity matters more than ever if you're trying to build a profitable flipping operation. Then, he's joined by Corey Merriman AKA SlabSquatch to discuss which Topps wax products are actually worth buying right now. The guys take a detailed look at Bowman's Best, Pristine, Gilded, and other Topps products through the lens of value, odds, resale, and what collectors are really getting for the money. Mike also gives an update on the ongoing Whatnot accountability debate, shares his thoughts on buyer vs. seller responsibility, and answers mailbag questions on where the singles market is headed, whether delayed grading turnarounds are pushing more collectors toward raw cards, and how to think about the best platforms for selling different kinds of inventory. On today's episode, we welcome Thomas Bowman, Co-Founder & CEO of Eclipse Foods — the plant-based dairy company built on one bold idea: replicate real dairy, don't compromise on it. A classically trained chef who worked in 16 Michelin-starred kitchens before moving into food innovation, Thomas brings culinary precision and food science together to create non-dairy products that truly match the taste, texture, and functionality of conventional dairy. In this conversation, Thomas shares his journey from fine dining to leading R&D at JUST, where he helped bring products like JUST Mayo to market, and how those lessons shaped Eclipse from day one. We talk about the “replication, not alternative” philosophy, the science behind building dairy without the cow, scaling disruptive food products, and what it really takes to change consumer behavior in a legacy category. A must-listen for founders, food innovators, and anyone interested in the future of sustainable dairy.   Are you interested in sponsoring and advertising on The Kara Goldin Show, which is now in the Top 1% of Entrepreneur podcasts in the world? In episode 333 of the Glass and Out Podcast we had the honour of being joined by the greatest hockey coach of all time, Scotty Bowman. As a head coach, Bowman led the Montreal Canadians, Pittsburgh Penguins and Detroit Red Wings to a combined 9 Stanley Cups. He also captured another five cups in front office roles. He is the NHL's all-time wins leader, with a total of 1,467 between the regular season and playoffs and was twice awarded the Jack Adams trophy as the NHL's Coach of the Year. But above all else, Scotty Bowman is the ultimate student of the game. He was able to adapt to new rules, new generations of players, the introduction of Europeans to the NHL, and eventually, the influx of Russians that arrived with the collapse of the Soviet Union. He saw drastically different versions of the game from the rough and tumble 70's to the high flying 80's and the dead puck era in the 90's. At 92, his memory, as you are about to hear, is simply remarkable and there is no doubt that ability helped him gain a competitive advantage from behind the bench based on his ability to recall the slightest detail and nuance within a game. Listen as he shares a lesson in hockey history, practice tips from the legend Dick Irvin, and the how he views the current state of today's game. It's Friday afternoon, which means a fresh episode of Oilersnation Radio is ready to massage your eardrums with an hour of off-season Oilers talk. On today's podcast, the fellas discussed the Oilers' moves at the NHL Trade Deadline, previewed Friday's game against Carolina, line combinations, trade targets, and more.We kicked off the Friday episode of ONR with a delicious debate about whether or not the Oilers got enough done at the 2026 NHL Trade Deadline. Given that Stan Bowman's work all got done in the days leading up to the deadline, it's fair to wonder whether the Oilers added enough to keep up with the rest of the Western Conference. At the same time, one could argue that Bowman addressed some major roster holes despite the deals being relatively minor.Shifting gears, the guys looked at what is going to be a very tough handful of games for the Oilers, as they kick off a run of four against the Hurricanes, Golden Knights, and Stars. If ever there was a run of measuring stick games on the post-deadline schedule, this next week has to be it. While many Oilers fans were hoping for more, it's hard to argue that Bowman didn't pull trigger on a handful of players who could help plug some holes. Finally, we wrapped up the Friday episode of ONR with another round of Ask the Idiots, betting talk for our friends at bet365, and Hot and Cold Performers to look back on the week that was. With the 2025-26 season entering the stretch drive, the guys spent the bulk of the podcast moving through a range of topics, some related to the Oilers and others not, but that's the way things go on the Friday episode of ONR.SHOUTOUT TO OUR SPONSORS!!

After already acquiring defenseman Connor Murphy from the Chicago Blackhawks earlier this week, Bowman went back to his former club and struck another deal — this time bringing in forwards Jason Dickinson and Colton Dach. Heading the other way are Andrew Mangiapane and a conditional first-round pick. It's a move that has Oilers fans debating the price that was paid and whether this is the right gamble as the team gears up for the stretch run. Did the Oilers overpay? Or is this exactly the kind of defensive, penalty-killing depth the team needed heading into the postseason? Tyler and Liam will break down the trade from every angle and discuss what the Oilers' lineup could look like with their newest additions. With the NHL Trade Deadline still looming, the conversation doesn't stop there. We unpack why Jackie Robinson sits on a different level for collectors, why that specific card felt like a “lifetime” target, and how eye appeal can completely scramble what the label says you're supposed to value. From there, the conversation opens up into the bigger hobby tension points: Leaf vs Bowman as the Jackie pairing debate, why some collectors will always gravitate toward the Leaf even if they own both, and why the “48 vs 49 Leaf” naming fight probably does not change unless the grading companies change it first. It's part card psychology, part market reality, and part grading frustration, with a few laughs and real collector talk mixed in. On today's episode, the guys discussed the Connor Murphy trade with Chicago, the Oilers' goal troubles, previewed Tuesday's matchup against the Senators, and much more.We kicked off the Tuesday episode of ONR with a delicious debate about how many other trades Stan Bowman can get done between now and Friday's trade deadline. While the Oilers may not have a ton of cap space available, the Connor Murphy trade showed that Bowman can get creative when it comes to moving his money around, and he'll need to do more of that in the coming days if he plans to find further upgrades.Changing gears, the guys looked at some of the news and transactions that have happened over the last week, including Andrew Mangiapane and Alec Regula clearing waivers. Seeing the Bread Man go through waivers is an unbelievable plot twist on what has been a rough go between the player and organization, and it will be fascinating to see what/if anything happens with him over the coming days. The guys also discussed the Oilers' dreadful run of defensive play over the last couple of games and wondered how much our new Connor can help stop the bleeding. Finally, we wrapped up the episode of ONR with another round of Baggedmilk's Trivia. With none of the other boys coming up with anything new, the guys went back to old faithful with a round of Senators-related Baggedmilk Trivia questions. Dr. Beckett responds to criticism he heard on other shows by sharing context from the selection process. He explains the list is tied to the 2026 Topps flagship baseball product and will appear as redemption cards, which influenced a bias toward base/flagship sets and excluded other Topps brands like Bowman, Stadium Club, and Heritage. Beckett notes the panel was made up largely of industry insiders, likely underweighting youth and traditional collectors, and suggests vintage and 1952 Topps were naturally emphasized. He comments on Sy Berger's legacy possibly affecting Willie Mays' ranking, addresses the prominence of the $1M Paul Skenes card as a landmark Fanatics-era marketing moment, explains differing definitions of “iconic,” and argues some stars' most iconic cards aren't Topps (e.g., Griffey, Jeter, Mattingly). In this episode of Sales Is King, Dan sits down in the new Midtown Manhattan studio with Craig Bowman, SVP of Public Sector at Trellix and author of the new book Craft: CIA Elite Selling. Craig brings a wild career arc to the mic—from clandestine work with the CIA and the intelligence community to building high‑performing sales teams at Adobe and now leading public sector growth at scale.Craig unpacks how CIA tradecraft, “mission first” thinking, and AI can radically upgrade how you prospect, qualify, and win in complex B2B deals. Key topics coveredThe CIA recruitment story: from a mysterious hotel lobby interview, underground parking garages, and VCR‑filled rooms to landing his first role under commercial cover.Moving from intelligence to entrepreneurship: starting, scaling, and selling his own government contracting company, then returning post‑9/11 for a new mission.Jumping into sales at Adobe: how he was recruited, doubled his salary, and built a new intelligence division by deeply understanding the mission—not just the tech.“In the mud with the customer”: why Craig literally went to the southern border with CBP to understand the mission and coined his mantra about getting in the trenches.Influence maps vs org charts: why the real power sits with the “knuckle‑draggers” in the back of the room, not just the CIO, and how to find and engage true influencers.Frameworks without rigidity: his take on MEDDIC, Challenger, and why you coach the bottom half differently while using top performers as mentors to “shift the middle.”The AI inflection point: how he rewrote his book mid‑stream to integrate AI, and why he now spends 70% of his time using AI agents as a personal chief of staff.Craig's live AI workflow: daily scripts that summarize email, corporate updates, and account intel; auto‑generated dossiers, personas, and value hypotheses. The 90‑Second Takeover: how to send a pre‑meeting hypothesis of value, then open meetings with clarity, validation, and a working session instead of random discovery.Humility as a superpower: the intern experiment that proved “humility emails” beat cold calls, and why genuine curiosity and asking for help unlock meetings.AI from the buyer's side: why your customers are already using AI to shortlist vendors and how you should be using AI the same way to qualify where you can truly win.Metrics that actually matter: the question Craig asks every customer about how they'll measure value 7 months after buying—then how he uses that in MEDDIC the right way.The seven criteria of a successful seller: why he evaluates inputs (character, curiosity, rigor) rather than just outputs (pipeline, quota).Mentors and pivotal leaders: from his grandfather and tough college professor to powerful women leaders in the intelligence community and sales leaders like Ken Karsten.Who this episode is forEnterprise and public sector sellers trying to win complex, multi‑stakeholder deals.Sales leaders looking to blend frameworks like MEDDIC with modern AI and real coaching.Rev leaders who want their teams “in the mud with the customer” instead of stuck on Zoom.Listen for these takeawaysWhy you must deeply understand your customer's mission—and often physically go to the “border” or “boat”—before pitching technology. How to build influence maps, not just chase titles on an org chart.A tested AI + email play that interns used to book meetings your team “could never get.”A simple question that turns MEDDIC metrics from guesswork into a mutual accountability pact.Connect with CraigBook: Craft: CIA Elite Selling on Amazon (hardcover, ebook, and audiobook).Bonus material & AI scripts: unlock the members section using the book, or message Craig on LinkedIn if you bought the audio version. If you're tired of canned discovery, bad qualification, and random acts of prospecting, this conversation will change how you think about mission, AI, and what “elite selling” really looks like.
