Worship isn't just the songs we sing. It's the surrender of our lives to God. In Romans 1:1–17, Paul reveals that true worship begins with the gospel. When we see God's power for salvation, it changes how we live, what we value, and whom we serve.Worship is an offering, Worship is war for our allegiance, Worship is absolute dependence on God. As Bowman reminds us, our worship flows from what God has already done for us through Jesus Christ - His perfect offering on our behalf. When the gospel grips our hearts, it leads us to thankful obedience, joyful dependence, and a life that glorifies Him.Here are some things we'll learn:· What is worship? Worship can be defined as a response to what the Creator has revealed to His creation.· Worship is not about us, but it's about Jesus, the Word of God, at the center of everything we do in all of life.· How salvation leads to transformed worship and renewed service.· Why our hearts are constantly at war between flesh and Spirit and how Christ wins that war.· How dependence on God shapes our gratitude, prayer, and obedience.· What it looks like to offer our lives as living sacrifices in everyday worship.Support our mission and learn more atwww.alloflife.churchGive to the work of the gospel herewww.alloflife.churchcenter.com/giving

It's Friday afternoon, which means a fresh episode of Oilersnation Radio is ready to massage your eardrums with an hour of off-season Oilers talk. On today's podcast, the fellas discussed the Oilers' trade for Connor Ingram, Jake Walman's extension talks, line combos, and much more.We had some We kicked off the Friday episode of ONR with a delicious debate about what has been the biggest surprise through training camp and the pre-season. From the way Alec Regula is potentially earning a spot despite low expectations heading into camp to Bowman trading for Connor Ingram to Noah Philp earning his spot, there are a handful of stories that popped up throughout the last few weeks that the boys may not have expected.Changing gears, we did a deeper dive on the Oilers' Connor Ingram trade and how it was a nice piece of work by Stan Bowman after so many people freaked out when the goalie passed through waivers. After clearing waivers, Stan Bowman turned around with a future considerations trade to land the goaltender at 40% retained from the Utah Mammoth, which added a valuable piece to the depth chart without having to pay anything to get it. The guys also discussed Kris Knoblauch signing a three-year extension with the Oilers, and how it is a well-deserved contract for one of the winningest coaches at this juncture in his NHL career. Finally, we wrapped up the Friday episode of ONR with another round of Ask the Idiots, betting talk for our friends at bet365, and Hot and Cold Performers to look back on the week. With only a few days left to wait until the start of the 2025-26 season, the guys spent the bulk of the Friday episode discussing a range of topics, some related to the Oilers and others not, but that's what happens at this stage of the pre-season. This month, the JFD gang pays tribute to Christopher Guest with a trio of flicks that feature some level of his involvement. Up first! We were shocked to discover our baby boy Bowman hadn't seen 1984's Spinal Tap, but now he has. Did he like it, though? Next up! We stretch the definition of "involvement" with Mary Tyler Moore's television variety special called How to Survive the 70s and Maybe Even Bump Into Happiness, (from 1978). He's sort of in it, but barely. Finally! Of course, it's 1993's Attack of the 50 Ft. Woman, because he directed it, and that's the only movie he directed that we've heard of. All this plus a traumatic treat-based trick, a cinci cult film screening update, a juggalo gathering update, fourth dimension theatrical exhibitions, the smells of vienna austria, an official update on Kevin's all-important filing status, is free speech overrated?, nerd news and even more! Source: reuters.com The original proposal, advanced under the Biden administration in 2023, was scrapped earlier in 2025 amid fierce pushback from the banking industry, which argued it would impose unjustified hikes in capital requirements—potentially up to 20% or more for large banks—hampering lending and economic growth. Bowman, appointed under President Trump, described the redo as an effort to "rightsize" these requirements for larger banks, making regulations more effective and efficient without weakening safety standards. Does This Affect Gold? Yes, the Basel III Endgame revisions are broadly viewed as positive for gold, potentially boosting demand for physical gold as a reserve asset. Under the updated framework, physical gold is reclassified as a Tier 1 asset—equivalent to cash or U.S.

Danielle DiMartino Booth, CEO and Chief Strategist at QI Research, joins Julia La Roche in-studio following the September FOMC. DiMartino Booth argues the Fed "chose independence over economy" with its 25bp cut, as Waller and Bowman sacrificed potential Fed chair positions by not dissenting for larger cuts. She presents compelling evidence the US has created zero jobs since April in the core private sector and calls a double-dip recession starting Q2 2024. DiMartino Booth's thesis is that "the Fed put is dead" - if the Fed goes to zero bound again, the 40% of stocks owned by 70+ year-olds will be forced to sell, stress-testing passive flows for the first time in history. She advocates reforming the Fed's structure, eliminating the conflicting dual mandate, and warns that unknown leverage in private markets represents the new systemic fault line.Sponsors: Monetary Metals: https://monetary-metals.com/julia Links: Danielle's Twitter/X: https://twitter.com/dimartinobooth Substack: https://dimartinobooth.substack.com/ YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@DanielleDiMartinoBoothQIFed Up: https://www.amazon.com/Fed-Up-Insiders-Federal-Reserve/dp/07352116550:00 Welcome and introduction - Danielle in studio post-FOMC0:36 Fed chose independence over economy - 25bp cut reaction2:32 Waller's non-dissent - sacrificing Fed chair shot for integrity3:46 US created zero jobs since April in core private sector5:43 Monetary Metals ad read6:43 Double dip recession call - started Q2 20248:53 Jobs typo in North Carolina data - continuing claims actually rose11:14 Top 10% now account for 49% of consumption12:21 Double dip recession explained - historical 1980-81 parallel14:31 1.4 million full-time jobs lost since January16:08 CEOs investing in AI to cut workers, not add jobs17:20 Fed's dual mandate doesn't make sense - inherently conflicting20:16 The Fed put is dead - new book thesis23:02 Zero bound means boomers sell stocks - passive never stress tested27:24 Fed structure needs reform - too many PhDs, need practitioners29:01 Lehman anniversary - Fed violated law with MBS purchases31:42 Private markets are new fault line - leverage unknown32:32 Final thoughts - give peace a chance, listen to each other
