In this episode, I walk you through the intimate (and intense!) journey of my 10 day silent meditation, also known as a 10 day Vipassana course, in Joshua Tree California. I also describe the similarities and differences between Vipassana meditation and an Ayahuasca ceremony and how powerful it was for me to go into my Vipassana a few days after sitting in 2 Ayahuasca ceremonies. Vipassana mediation is a particular technique that has been taught for over 2500 years originating from India and the teachings of Buddha. During this 10 day silent meditation, you are not allowed to read, write, exercise or make eye contact with others. If you're thinking, WTF - then I recommend you listen to this episode. I did NOT expect to have the experience I did and it's one of those life-changing moments that are extremely hard to describe in words but I tried my best. Enjoy! :) To find out about attending your own 10 day silent meditation or to research a Vipassana center near you visit dhamma.org.
