    Latin America's Podcast: COVID-19 in Latin America (in Spanish) The purpose of this episode is to shed light on the ongoing COVID-19 crisis, which is affecting Latin America harder than anywhere else in the world. More than 170 million cases, and over one million deaths, clearly demonstrate the humanitarian impact of the pandemic on the region. The region has increasingly experienced worsening sociopolitical conditions and decreasing economic prospects.
