It's the Match 26th, 1996 episode of ECW Hardcore TV featuring matches from ECW Big Ass Extreme Bash. It's the final match for Cactus Jack in ECW before he goes to the WWF. He is facing his former tag team partner Mikey Whipwreck. Everyone is very grateful for Cactus Jack's time in ECW and he gets a very nice send off! “The Orange and Black Attack” Taz takes on Chris Jericho is a great match. This is unique as the ref stops the match after Chris Jericho hurts his neck. However, Jericho wants to continue the match, so it is restarted! Also, in the main event, Raven defends the ECW World Championship against “The Franchise” Shane Douglas. This features tons of shenanigans involving The Bruise Brothers, Stevie Richards, Blue Meanie, Tommy Dreamer, The Sandman, and Kimona Wanalaya. Well friends, here we are. Nathan and Eppy take a day trip with Jim to Parma, CA in the series finale episode. The sixth season of The Rockford Files was cut short by James Garner's medical needs, so this last episode was not intended to be a goodbye to the series. Thankfully, we found that it did feel like an appropriate way to bid adieu to Jim, the Firebird, and all of the Rockfordishness we love so much. This is the last regular episode of this podcast! We will have a couple new episodes a year covering other shows in the wider Rockford/Garner/PI-i-verse, but we have now talked about every episode, of The Rockford Files. Thanks for listening! We have another podcast: Plus Expenses. Covering our non-Rockford media, games and life chatter, Plus Expenses is available via our Patreon (https://www.patreon.com/twohundredaday) at ALL levels of support. Thanks Patrons! Want more Rockford Files trivia, notes and ephemera? Check out the Two Hundred a Day Rockford Files Files (http://tinyurl.com/200files)! We appreciate all of our listeners, but offer a special thanks to our patrons (https://www.patreon.com/twohundredaday). All things are well in WCW on the July 31st, 2000 episode of Nitro. Booker T is the fighting babyface WCW World Champion and Vince Russo is in charge… Okay well maybe not everything is good. The main “highlight” from this show was a throw away segment featuring a “Viagra on a Pole” Match. Billy Kidman is huge, while The Franchise Shane Douglas has problems getting it up in the bedroom. That's literally why the match is happening. They hang Viagra on a pole and whoever gets it, wins. Speaking of gimmick matches, Kevin Nash battles Scott Steiner in a “Straight Jacket” Match. Put your opponent in a straight jacket and you decide when you are tired of beating them up. And as previously mentioned Booker T is the fighting WCW Champion, but Jeff Jarrett hurt his leg badly with a Figure Four. As fighting champion he says he will face Sting for the belt, as he was previously supposed to have the match. Booker T's wife gets hit with a guitar by Jeff Jarrett and has to go to the hospital. Booker returns and has his match with Sting. However, chaos ensues as Double J hangs Booker by his leg and hits it with a guitar. Also, Sting gets burned alive inside a coffin by Vampiro and The Kiss Demon! Call of Duty Black Ops 6 is here! We never thought we'd have a Call of Duty game on this podcast again, but Treyarch and the other teams behind this game outdid themselves. Call of Duty Black Ops 6 is the full package. The campaign is solid, the multiplayer is super addicting and the zombies mode is a blast. Best of all? This is all available on Xbox Game Pass.We also dig into Alan Wake 2's new DLC called The Lakehouse. This one follows a Federal Bureau of Control agent through The Lakehouse. Jason played this game and shares his thoughts of this creepy return to the Alan Wake world. Brett plays Dragon Age: The Veilguard. Bioware returns with a different art style, a more linear world and several gameplay changes that provide a differnet, but fun direction for the game. Is this the best Dragon Age ever? Maybe not. Is this a great game? It definitely is. Despite the sometimes poor script, the gameplay is great, the world is gorgeous and the game plays better than any game in recent years. We also get our hands on Deadlock, the 3rd person MOBA from Valve. This game is incredibly well designed bringing all the best of MOBA's with a true hero shooter twist. We can't wait to get our hands on the full release.Lastly, Austin dove back into Tears of the Kingdom. In this, he highlights the well-designed starting area. Tutorials are varied in our games and sometimes hold your hand too much or are too annoying you want to ignore them. This tutorial does it just right having you discover as you play. You can follow their Kickstarter here when it goes live or wishlist it on Steam.Show Notes:1:14 - Housekeeping2:36 - Call of Duty Black Ops 6 Early Review35:22 - Alan Wake 2 The Lakehouse DLC48:05 - Dragon Age: The Veilguard Early Review1:21:39 - Deadlock: A Fun Twist on the MOBA from Valve1:37:24 - Tears of The Kingdom 1 Year Later: A Masterclass in Starting Zones1:57:46 - Upcoming Video Game Releases Become a part of the conversation!
