Happy Mothers Day to the mommy's out there. Today's drop came directly from a conversation with a colleague on Friday who reached out to inquire about distancing them self from a person who has been toxic to them, especially now during pandemic and how increasingly hard that has become. I am certainly not a psychologist and can't speak to it from that lens but I can share my own personal experiences and how I would treat the situation. I talk about everything from identifying if you are actually dealing with a toxic person or if it is just an individual with infectious energy and how to approach each differently. I also walk you through my own experience with this and how I set boundaries in an attempt to continue to thrive and strive without that additional added weight.
