Both the Mets and Yankees were swept this weekend, with the Mets now heading to Atlanta and a caller demanding Aaron Boone's firing due to the Yankees' fundamental errors, including baserunning mistakes by Dominguez and Rice. This came after Rafael Devers, who homered in his final game for Boston, was traded from the Red Sox to San Francisco. Meanwhile, Mike Francesa's prediction of a Mets losing streak came true, and despite Pete Alonso's strong offense, his throwing issues to first base persist. In golf, JJ Spaun won the US Open on Father's Day, and on the Knicks front, they are interviewing Mike Brown and Taylor Jenkins for the head coach position, while Dan Plesac of MLB Network was reportedly scammed by an "unpaid tolls" text message.

Without mutual respect, mutual trust is dead in the water. And without trust, we are so f... flawed at collaborating that we might as well dust off our spears and aim for the caves.
The best approach is to walk right up and get in evil's face without hesitation. Our era of crimes did not happen without plenty of evidence. Many decades of budget fraud have crippled California. Examining the accounting books is key. The nature of the Mossad ops always involved pedophile rings. Israel has been our greatest enemy from the start. One of the biggest crooks in the world worked for them. Terrorizing children for the so called denigration of targets. From 911 on, Trump knew Israel was compromising our intel. The Wexner connections are everywhere. It would take pedophilia charges to stop the most entrenched enemies. Weiner's face says it all. Why wasn't this on Fox or CNN? Then it must be a conspiracy. The thirsty players that sell out for power. Sen. Adam Schiff is in the news again, and not for anything good. Why did he push war on Yemen? Mr. Tate, the woman brander, has people all stirred up. The laying out of the red carpet for the CCP. Whose covering the massive bill for the LA fires? Incredibly, eight million children go missing every year. Another look at Haitian corruption involving human trafficking. We will always have hope in fighting the world's evils and it has to begin with rescuing the children.

Death is a reality we all have to confront. Often, it can be a very hard and ugly thing.Naturally, we all have an apprehension to it since we are made for life. We defend this reality by promoting the procreation of children, by promoting things like marriage, by promoting traffic laws and speed limits, by promoting medicine, and the sorts. But, what happens when we simply reject it? What happens when we become insensitive to the fact of death? With election season firmly here, we take up a topic that probably shouldn't be in the news but always is: abortion. Good thing we didn't have a woman on this episode, because women's views on this topic are annoyingly consistent and, frankly, pretty boring. Now, I like killing people as much as the next guy. I really do. But I'm not sure it's right to expect unrelated folks (doctors, nurses) to facilitate your killin'. It's a shame there isn't some sort of analog to the famous suicide pod for abortion. Then pregnant people (heh) could do it without involving any other people. To follow on with women's issues, we discuss women who are unhappy with their experiences interacting with male doctors. And, a woman has a horrific experience with anal sex. Here's the article we discuss about abortion: https://ymmv.me/181/abortion We get a lot of our questions from Reddit, so for our listeners' enjoyment, here are links to some of the questions we discussed this week: https://ymmv.me/181/doctors https://ymmv.me/181/anal Twitter: @ymmvpod Facebook: ymmvpod Email: ymmvpod@gmail.com

Send us a textIn this sermon, the story of Chanah from the Haftarah on Rosh Hashanah serves as a powerful lesson about the depth of human emotions and the nature of prayer. Chanah, who is childless, pours her heart out to G-d in silent prayer, but Eli, the High Priest, mistakenly perceives her as being drunk. This seemingly insensitive misjudgment turns into a profound revelation about the coexistence of pain and serenity, and the spiritual intimacy that comes from genuine prayer. By exploring Chanah's response and comparing it with a story from the Holocaust, we learn the essence of pouring out our souls before G-d, no matter the circumstances.Key Takeaways:Prayer as Connection: Chanah teaches us that prayer is about pouring out our hearts directly to G-d, beyond formalities, in intimate conversation.Misunderstood Devotion: Eli's assumption reminds us that the deepest expressions of faith can sometimes be misread, even by spiritual leaders. The Coexistence of Emotions: Chanah's ability to carry both profound grief and inner peace exemplifies the complexity of the human soul when connected to G-d.Focus on the Positive: The story of Simon Wiesenthal and Rabbi Silver highlights the choice to see the devotion of those who sacrifice, rather than the flaws of the few.#roshhashana #prayer #rabbiwisdom #misunderstanding #emotionalpain #faith #connection #Devotional #holocaustsurvivor #spiritualintimacy #Judaism #jewishculture #jewishhistory #holocaustremembrance #prayers #rabbi #theloverabbi #chabad #SelfImprovement Support the showGot your own question for Rabbi Bernath? As if grief isn't difficult enough, insensitive, ignorant, and unnecessary comments are, sadly, a common occurrence for so many of us. These kinds of remarks will likely come our way at some point as we're grieving. Things like… You should be doing [fill in the blank]. You need to let it go. People speaking on behalf of our loved one who has died, like putting words in their mouth about what they would be thinking, feeling, or saying. Why are you dwelling on it? You should get over it by now. You should be moved on… why aren't you moved on? Do you think it's healthy to think or talk about it this much? And SO many more! So, I wanted to cover this topic because there are so many complexities to it. And the thing is, comments like this can really hurt, right?! They can even set us back in our grieving and healing journey. I want us to have a very open, honest, and raw conversation about it. And, of course, equip you with some tools and guidance on how to cope with this—and how to manage these comments—if this comes up as you're trying to navigate your grief, life after loss, and everything in between. We continued talking about Ryan Clark, whose contract is up at ESPN, and he put out a hype video for his broadcasting career. He wants to work less in his next job, but get paid more. We also wondered what recently retired NFL players would want to do a 4-hour radio show, 5 days a week like Boomer. These guys have all made way too much money in their careers. There was a brawl in the Texas A&M-Comm vs Incarnate Word basketball game. Also, Tyrese Haliburton has 2 completely different voices within the same conversation. He used Jerry's line, ‘it's a bird you moron' and is now in the doghouse so to speak.

The women on the show are always vocal about things we want men to be sensitive about, but is there anything the ladies of The Bert Show should be more sensitive about?
I've had 5 years of being asked this question. #PalmToFace It's one I asked others over the years! It seemed innocuous and I didn't realize how triggering, personal, or just awkward it can be. This question is asked whether someone is pregnant, using IVF or conceiving naturally, or even had children years ago. Please note this isn't to shame any of us who have asked (or answered!) over the years. We did the best we could with what we knew then. Now we know better, so we'll do better for both parents and children. Links in this episode: For peace, clarity, and confidence in your life choices, order your ElegantExcellenceJournal.com today!
