Episode 45: Guided Meditation by OSU Student Health Services
This week, Cici and Bebe invite Kate Gallagher, the Director of Contemplative Studies at OSU, to provide students with a free guided meditation, and ask her to talk about her own journey with mindfulness and meditation. Because there was so much to talk about, we decided to split this week's content into two episodes! One episode will be an interview with Kate and the other will solely be a guided meditation.

Black Lives Matter is a movement central to all Black lives striving for liberation. Peaceful protests and demonstrations have taken place as part of the movement and therefore this episode provides students with information on how to protest safely. This episode welcome's a local community member Noughtie Dee who shares their advice on how to prepare to participate in a protest and other forms of activism.
This episode covers the past and current use of Adderall, a drug that is used in ADHD and ADD treatment. Information is presented by our guest speaker Nikia, who is the Alcohol and Other Drugs Specialist at Student Health Services. She explains the factors that have led to the misuse and abuse of Adderall among college students in particular. Tips are provided on alternatives to Adderall such as meditation and sleep.
Gigi and Mimi address the drinking culture on college campuses. They provide guidance on navigating drinking expectations and peer pressure. As well as tips on how to be safe well drinking such as utilizing Medical Amnesty Law in Oregon and establishing a buddy system.

The Wellness Check Episode 6: Let's Talk about Denim Day Description: The Director of the Survivor Advocacy & Resource Center comes on to talk about Denim Day and how to support survivors during this time of isolation. She also gives resources for people surrounded by abusers or people looking for help.
