Their expression of these needs and vulnerability is more introverted and passive-aggressive than the typical or overt narcissist. In many cases, it is easy to spot the narcissist in the room. This represents 1 in 20 adults. 16.5% of U.S. youth aged 6-17 experienced a mental health disorder in 2016 (7.7 million people) 3.8% of U.S. adults experienced a co-occurring substance use disorder and mental illness in 2019 (9.5 million people) it took me forever to do this episode because October is a tough month for me October 9th was my Mom's one year anniversary since her passing and so I've been struggling with my emotions. Lately I've been dealing with the fact that my Mom is gone. The loss of my mom change me in ways I can't even say!! With her one year anniversary since her passing coming Up this October the 9th. And everything else I've been dealing with. Every day it seems to be harder and harder to live without her. Sometimes I'm okay and other days it just hits me real hard and I just start to cry because there are situations that I'm facing right now that I just wish I can pick up that phone and call her. But I realized that these are the battles that I face everyday and these are the demons that I have to face on a daily basis and lately I've been meditating on the word of God and listening to a song by the singer Sia the name of the song is unstoppable and the following lyrics that really hits me hard is when she says "I put my armor on and show you how strong I am. I put my armor on I'll show you that I am. I'm unstoppable, I'm a Porsche with no brakes I'm invincible yeah I win every single game. I'm so powerful I don't need batteries to play. I'm so confident yeah I'm unstoppable today." And I realized that with God I'm a powerful person with God I can do this I can face these demons and these battles ONLY with Him by my side I can do this!!! So please if you're in a situation like mines don't be discouraged because He is with you every step of the way..... Joshua 1:9 "have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. In this Episode I will speak about how when a relationship doesn't work out for the best, sometimes people will have suicidal thoughts. Through my life struggles and testimonies I'm hoping to reach at least one person that will overcome their current situation. I used to be suicidal myself but I overcame. Loosing what I thought was the perfect relationship took me through a dark moment in my life that I thought for sure it was going to be the End of me! But God had other plans for me and this is why I'm here today to be able to help the next victim of a failed relationship. Did you know that according to the CDC Statistics they show that 42% of suicide are related to relationship problems. 1 in every 25 suicidal attempts will actually be fatal. How many of you have gone through a real bad break-up that left you feeling unwanted, unloved, unworthy??? I know I did I had thoughts of ending my life because I felt like it was the end I had lost it all I felt useless I tried to actually kill myself, but God saved me!. I want you to know that it's not the End sometimes good things come to an end so better things can come on it's place. The word of God says; "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord , thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end". NC stripped me out of my Rights of being a Mother to my children. They have forced me into a binding contract who we all know as "CHILD SUPPORT" For years I've been paying for children I hardly get to see or spend time with Because of the custodial parent makes it hard and NC Laws make it extremely hard for a non-custodial parents to be part of the child/children lives. There is light at the end of the tunnel, but first we must inhabit the darkness with complete faith knowing respite awaits ahead. The tunnel represents our life's journey, filled with darkness. In such moments it's natural to look for a way out, yet we should trust that a turning point awaits us further down the road. The darkness can be terrifying when we're stuck, unable to navigate our way ahead. It signifies the inner struggle where in moments of despair we feel helpless. However, these are inaccurate thoughts that can pull us deeper into this darkened state. Trapped in a grim shadow of darkness can be unrelenting, given the cycle of suffering offers no respite. Yet, this is an illusion since we lose our place to the upheaval that surrounds us. Is this something you experienced? How did you deal with it and what did you learn from it, if anything? From the age of 15-19 I dated someone who was abusive to me. He separated me from my family and friends. He was controlling and narcissist. He controlled how I dressed what I bought and how I talked and walked. I'm glad that God took me out of that relationship because I don't know where I would be Today.
