The guys from Lonely Island made a hilarious mockumentary 10 years ago called, Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping. It didn't do great at the box office, but over the years people have figured out how funny it actually is. Adam Rupp was the one who introduced it to Rob, and they've watched it on the Home Free bus many times. He was great on this episode and hope you enjoy!

On this Make A Difference Minute, I have Steffenie Jenkins sharing the journey she and her family have faced as they searched for answers for their son, Jacob. Now 21 years old, Jacob is battling bronchiolitis obliterans, a rare and irreversible lung disease, and is receiving treatment through Mayo Clinic in Arizona. As Jacob's health declined, Steffenie found herself in a position many families know all too well. She could see something was wrong, yet finding answers proved difficult. Through countless appointments, tests, setbacks, and frustrations, she continued advocating for her son and pushing forward when it would have been easy to give up. Her message is one of perseverance, determination, and trusting your instincts when someone you love is suffering. Sometimes the path to answers is longer than it should be, but Steffenie's story is a reminder of the power of persistence and a mother's unwavering love for her child. If you would like to support the Jenkins family, visit GoFundMe and search “Jacob's Fight to Breathe: Help Us Continue His Care.” You can also email Steffenie at SteffenieJenkins@gmail.com for other ways to support. I also share a story I don't tell that often about the time lifting weights literally saved my life — and why that's the real reason I tell everyone to strength train no matter what. “Far be it from me that I should sin against the LORD by failing to pray for you.” — 1 Samuel 12:23 When I was in my twenties and going through some hard times, I asked my mother to pray for me. She said, “Do you mean, in addition to the prayers that began before your birth and have not ceased to this day?” I hadn't realized that my mom prayed so fervently for me, and that was humbling.Samuel prayed persistently for God's people, and we do well to follow that example. Are you a persistent and fervent pray-er? I can't think of anything we can do that is more pleasing to God and useful to others than prayer.Silent, or internal, prayer is a miracle brought about by the presence of the Holy Spirit in our lives. Through the voice of the Spirit, who comes to live within us, our thoughts are heard by the triune God. We can think with and talk to God about anything, at any time, and in any place. Through our thoughts we can connect with the most powerful being in the universe, who loves us more than any other. We don't even need an introduction; God already knows us intimately. If you are looking for a dialogue with God, turn to Scripture, read a few verses, and pray whatever comes to mind. Any fears, worries, and wrongs you have done can be laid at God's feet and forgotten.Samuel and my mother were fervent and faithful pray-ers. Knowing that God loves us so much, how can we not pray? O God, we come to you in prayer through the work of your Spirit in us. We know that you hear us. Guide us to pray faithfully. Please fill us with your grace and peace each day. Amen.
In a world changing faster than most teams can keep up with, standing still may be the biggest risk of all. Brian Milner sits down with Stavros Stavru to explore why experimentation is no longer optional and how teams can build a culture that adapts before disruption forces it to. Overview Many organizations say they value experimentation, but few create the conditions that make real experimentation possible. Too often, teams either stay trapped in familiar patterns or mistake random change for meaningful learning. In this episode, Brian Milner talks with Stavros Stavru, author of Never Stop Experimenting, about what experimentation actually looks like in practice. Stavros shares how rapid advances in AI and constant disruption are forcing teams to rethink how they learn, adapt, and improve. Together, they discuss the difference between experimentation and “experimentation theater,” why small experiments matter, and how leaders can model the kind of curiosity and adaptability they want their teams to develop. Stavros also shares practical examples from his book, including simple ways teams can test assumptions, gather more honest feedback, and create stronger learning loops in their day-to-day work. Most of what the supplement and skincare industry sells for aging targets one pathway at a time. But your biology does not age that way. It declines across 12 interconnected processes simultaneously, and by the time one of them shows up on your skin, the others have already been running for years. We at Young Goose believe that skin longevity is not a topical problem. It is a whole biology problem, and the ingredients you choose, how they interact, and whether anyone has actually tested them together matters more than any single molecule ever could. In this episode, we are joined for the second time around by Chris Mirabile, founder of NOVOS which is the first biotech company to target all 12 biological causes of aging. Chris collaborates with leading researchers at Harvard and MIT and has built his work around one premise: that real interventions require real testing on real humans, not just promising ingredients. Let's dive in.What's Discussed:(2:14) Why single ingredient marketing is a commercial story, not a scientific one.(9:56) The three hallmarks hitting skin hardest and how they feed each other.(12:02) How UV damage depletes 90% of NAD in the skin from a single exposure event.(22:14) Why stacking molecules requires human testing, not just ingredient research.(33:48) The NOVOS cardiovascular study and results that surprised the researchers.(48:12) Why spending more on your biology does not make your protocol safe.(1:02:18) What omics testing reveals that epigenetics alone cannot tell you.(1:09:45) Where skin longevity is heading in the next five years.Find more from Young Goose:Use code PODCAST10 to get 10% OFF your first purchase, and if you're a returning customer use the code PODCAST5 to get 5% OFF at younggoose.comInstagram: @young_goose_skincareFind more from Chris Mirabile & Slow My Age:Instagram: @slowmyageYouTube: @slowmyageTikTok:@slowmyageX: @slowmyagePersonal Blog: slowmyage.com Find more from NOVOS:Website: NOVOSlabs.com Instagram: @NOVOSlabs Facebook: NOVOSYoutube: @NOVOSlabsTikTok: @NOVOSlabs_X: @NOVOSLabs

Denise Chapman Weston is a Playologist, therapist, inventor, and deeply imaginative thinker whose life has been shaped by a promise she made to herself as a child: never stop playing. In Part 1 of this conversation, Denise shares the origin story behind that promise. Growing up in Chicago with a Shriner clown for a father, she was surrounded by humour, imagination, and a sense that life did not have to be taken too seriously. But at around six years old, she felt something begin to shift. As children move towards adulthood, magical thinking often starts to fade. Standing on her bed and looking into the mirror, Denise made a serious promise to herself that she would never fully let go of play. That promise became a through-line in her life. Denise went on to work as a therapist, specialising in play therapy, before becoming an inventor with more than 150 patents. She describes invention as a process of both retreating inward and returning outward — noodling, wallowing, absorbing information, then testing ideas in the world to see whether they create connection.A central theme of this episode is Denise's belief that technology should not replace human connection, but serve it. While many people see technology and AI as something to fear, Denise sees them as a kind of magic — powerful tools that need wisdom, intention, and human-centred design. Her “magic campfire” invention reflects this philosophy: a technology-enabled gathering place designed to bring people together, amplify storytelling, and create belonging. At its heart, this episode is about childhood imagination, creative courage, invention, and what it means to stay connected to the playful, curious, possibility-filled parts of ourselves. It is the story of how Denise became Denise — and why she believes play, technology, and human connection are far more intertwined than we might think. In This EpisodeThe promise Denise made to herself at six years old to never stop playingHow growing up with a Shriner clown for a father shaped her imaginationWhat it means to be a PlayologistHow Denise moved from therapy and play therapy into inventionWhy noodling and wallowing are part of her creative processHow she thinks about solitude, belonging, and idea developmentWhy Denise sees technology and AI as magic, not something to fearThe idea behind her “magic campfire” inventionWhy she believes technology should serve human connection, not replace itHow play, imagination, invention, and wisdom all connectChapters00:00 Denise on the promise she made to never stop playing01:52 Welcome to Denise's extraordinary home02:16 Growing up in Chicago with a Shriner clown for a dad04:55 The promise Denise made to herself at six years old08:02 What it means to live a bountiful life09:55 Belonging, solitude, and the creative process12:57 Wallowing, noodling, and invention15:12 How Denise gets in and out of her own head19:38 What she would tell her 25-year-old self21:03 What it means to be a Playologist23:20 Why Denise sees technology as magic25:59 AI, wisdom, and the human side of technology31:08 The magic campfire invention38:15 Why technology should connect people to people40:42 Reclaiming what it means to be humanGuest BioDenise Chapman Weston is a Playologist, therapist, inventor, author, and Adjunct Professor at Purdue University. FAN MAIL--We would love YOUR feedback--Send us a Text MessageDan Hurley is famous for sideline fire, technical fouls, and an all-consuming drive to win, but *Never Stop* reveals a different story underneath the noise. We walk through the moments that make his memoir so much bigger than college basketball: the burned-out Seton Hall chapter where he admits how dark things got, the counseling that helped him climb back, and the long fight to become someone separate from a family legacy that made everything feel public and compared. From there, we trace the messy middle of leadership growth: starting at the bottom in coaching, winning while still feeling unsure, and learning that external success doesn't automatically fix the internal story. We also dig into the headline decision everyone debates, the Los Angeles Lakers offering six years and $70 million, and why four simple words at a Billy Joel concert help clarify a deeper choice. For Hurley, it isn't just money versus loyalty, it's purpose versus prestige, and the place where you built yourself versus the deal that looks best on paper. We close with what “Never Stop” actually points to: meditation, journaling, prayer, and using burnout as a signal rather than a secret. And we ask the uncomfortable question the book leaves hanging: can the same relentless drive that builds championships also make it harder to stop when stopping is the healthiest move? If you care about leadership, high performance, mental health, resilience, and identity, this one has real teeth. Subscribe, share with a friend who's chasing big goals, and leave a review with your take on purpose versus prestige.Key Points from the Episode:• the book's darkest turn at Seton Hall and why the honesty changes the whole story • why *Never Stop* is a memoir rather than a playbook • growing up with the Hurley name and the pressure of constant comparison • winning while still feeling lost and the gap between external results and internal growth • the coaching path from high school to UConn and the identity rebuilt along the way • the $70 million Lakers offer and the purpose-over-prestige decision to stay • meditation, journaling and prayer as tools to manage intensity • vulnerability as leadership and creating permission for others to be honest • the open question: does relentless drive make it harder to stop when you should? What if the key to protecting your brain—and avoiding dementia—wasn't found in a prescription, but in your daily habits? In this episode of Walk, Don't Run to the Doctor, Dr. Miles Hassell dives into the powerful connection between exercise, leisure activities, and long-term brain health. Backed by decades of research, including a 40-year study showing up to a 90% reduction in dementia risk, this conversation explores how simple lifestyle choices can dramatically impact your future. Whether you're in your 20's or your 70's, the habits you build today can shape your cognitive health for years to come. Key Takeaways: Regular exercise can reduce the risk of dementia by up to 90% over time. Activities that combine physical + mental + social engagement (like dancing or sports) offer the greatest brain benefits. Higher intensity exercise (getting short of breath) leads to stronger cognitive and physical outcomes. Variety in movement improves balance, bone strength, and injury prevention as you age. Purpose and social connection play a major role in protecting brain function—even with physical signs of aging. Lifestyle choices often have a greater long-term impact than medical interventions. In this episode of Case Studies, Casey sits back down with Ty Williams, senior executive at Sunrun and one of the most respected leaders in the direct sales industry, for a deeper, more evolved conversation on leadership, reinvention, and staying relevant in a rapidly changing world.Ty shares how his thinking has sharpened through new challenges at scale, from navigating executive leadership to preparing for massive shifts in technology, energy, and the workforce. He introduces the idea of “sales craft” as something far greater than performance, a framework for life built on adaptability, judgment, and continuous growth.Together, he and Casey explore why comfort is often the biggest threat to long term success, how great leaders consistently recreate themselves, and what it means to operate with urgency in moments that truly matter. Ty also opens up about his obsession with optionality, his fear of stagnation, and the internal standard of always “impressing yourself.”This episode targets entrepreneurs and leaders who want to evolve with intention, embrace change, and refuse to settle at any stage of the journey. In February 2008, two trusted members of the Turlock, California community - a police officer and a teacher - are both accused of exploiting their positions to prey on a 17-year-old student. As the cases unfold, shocking details emerge about how the abuse began and how it was hidden. Years later, another respected educator from the same town is exposed for an inappropriate relationship with a student, setting off a chain of events that will eventually lead to a Dr. Phil appearance and a criminal investigation that stretches across decades. In episode 396, Jac and Alexis explore the crimes of officer Jorge Cruz and teacher James Hooker, and how patterns of grooming, manipulation, and abuse continued long after the first warning signs appeared.

There is no place to stop, plateau, or think we have arrived in our spiritual lives. We are never to stop growing. There is always more we can learn, more we can experience, more steps of faith to take, and more character to be developed.Main Points:1. Like an adopted child learns the behaviors and expectations of their new family. We are to learn the values, behavior, and lifestyle of the family of God. Let's commit, as did the Apostle Paul, to keep pressing forward in our goal of being like Jesus.2. Even the great Apostle Paul realized that he needed to keep growing in his faith and his relationship with God.3. By placing our faith in Jesus Christ and his death on the cross for us, we have been adopted by the Holy Spirit into the family of God. It is a gift we receive. We did not have to work to earn the right to become a part of God's family. But now that we are sons and daughters, God asks us to live like children of God. The Word of God and the power of the Holy Spirit inform our new behavior and our new lifestyle.Today's Scripture Verses:Philippians 3:12 - “Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already arrived at my goal, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me.”Philippians 3:13-14 - “…one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.”Quick Links:Donate to support this podcastLeave a review on Apple PodcastsGet a copy of The 5 Minute Discipleship JournalConnect on SocialJoin The 5 Minute Discipleship Facebook Group
In this episode of The Way We See It, Pastor Alex Bryant sits down with Nixa High School football coach, Coach John Perry. Coach Perry has been a staple in high school football coaching for nearly three decades, both in Mississippi and Missouri. After winning a state championship and making multiple title runs in Mississippi, he moved to Missouri, where under his leadership, Nixa High School has made back-to-back appearances in the Class 6A state championship game. After a family medical crisis reshaped his priorities, he re-centered his life around faith, family, and then football. Now he's focused on developing young men who are winners not just on the field, but in life. This episode is filled with coaching wisdom, real talk about priorities, and what it means to never stop getting better—in every area that matters. #TWWSI, #NeverStopGettingBetter, #FaithFamilyFootball, #CoachPerry, #NixaFootball, #LeadershipMatters, #HighSchoolCoaching, #RaisingMen, #LifeBeyondTheGame, #PastorAlexBryant Alex Bryant Ministries is focused on helping people be reconciled to God, then within one's own self, and finally being reconciled to our fellow man in order to become disciples. Missionary Evangelist Robert Breaker talks about the importance of preaching FAITH IN THE BLOOD, like it says in Romans 3:25, and how he was taught this at Bible Institute, and how many today don't preach it anymore, and some even preach against it. He gives proof that he was taught this and that others used to preach it as well. In fact, it's been preached for 2000 years. And, it's been the main Baptist doctrine taught until many Baptists changed in the 1800s. But, Charles Hadden Spurgeon did not change, and chose to stand on the message of faith in the atoning work of Christ. Bro. Breaker explains "The Down Grade Controversy" and how Spurgeon separated himself from the Baptist Union of his day which changed from preaching the atonement to preaching something else. Robert talks also about how he left a church because he too saw them changing the message of FAITH IN THE BLOOD to something else.
As we look at Exodus 2:16-25, we see that even when all we see is silence, God is still working.

Officials argue that banknotes used in bouquets are often “folded, rolled, glued, stapled, pinned,” or otherwise damaged, which they say compromises their integrity, defaces the national currency, and increases the cost of replacing damaged notes. Success doesn't come from flashy moments. It comes from showing up—every day—long after most people quit. In this episode, Trent sits down with Tyler Morris—entrepreneur, investor, and what Trent calls a professional grinder. Tyler didn't come from privilege or shortcuts. He grew up in a small town, learned early how to work without recognition, and built his career by outworking, outlasting, and out-learning the competition. After a successful eight-figure exit, Tyler didn't slow down—because grinding isn't a phase, it's who he is. Together, Trent and Tyler unpack: Why being underestimated can be a competitive advantage The difference between grinding and burning out Why alignment beats talent every time How delegation separates small business owners from real operators Why adding value to others is often the fastest way out of a personal or professional low point This is a masterclass in discipline, humility, and long-term thinking. Key Themes & Lessons Winners don't wait for perfect conditions—they prepare Confidence comes from preparation, not ego Teams win championships, not individuals The grind never ends—you just get better at it When you're down, go help someone else Resources Mentioned M2 Digital Marketing Group – Website strategy & growth-focused digital marketing Concept: Minders, Finders, and Grinders (knowing your lane) Athletic mindset applied to entrepreneurship Long-game execution over short-term wins Connect with Tyler Here - https://calendly.com/tylermorris22/schedule_conversation If this episode challenged you, don't keep it to yourself.
