When two Liverpool Football Club fans originally from the Midwest meet in El Paso, TX, they become Gringos. When they love the sound of their own voice and overvalue their opinions, they become the Two Red Gringos. They will discuss everything from tactics, team selection, and anything else about LF…
The Gringos are back to talk about Jurgen Klopp's decision to extend by another 2 years at Liverpool. There was also the small matter of the Champions League Semifinal First Leg against Villarreal, which was a complete performance. And there was also a Merseyside Derby last weekend. This all accompanied by Chandon/Bourbon
The Gringos are back for Season 8 against all odds. They catch up on the stories and players they've enjoyed so far this season, we have a new segment with a Gringa, Erica Baki who tries her knowledge of PL teams, and then Phil and Pat riff on Liverpool's win over Arsenal at the Emirates.
Pat and Phil finally return and they've got some opinions on Liverpool losing their Anfield streak to Burnley, what exactly has gone wrong for Liverpool over their scoreless streak, refereeing's impacts on the team, Christian Pulisic's GQ spread and Fernando Torres' beefcake transformation.
Pat and Phil get together to talk Chelsea 0-2 Liverpool, Fabinho as a CB, Sadio Mane's brace and Thiago who's performance lead to an involuntary response from the hosts. Also, a wasp sting for Arlo White, and who we want too see in the Caribou Cup.
7th Season of the Two Red Gringos begins with Pat and Phil talking about the PL Champions, the potential departure of Gini Wijnaldum, the potential arrival of Thiago, the nature of player importance, system vs stats and belief as Klopp plans for the future.
The 2RG and The Black Reds collab and they are all over the place. It's just a fun conversation so get into it.
For this one, the Gringos step aside and let Stan Whyte, Antoine Stokes, David Higgens and David Velasquez talk about recent events surrounding Black Lives Matter and systemic racism they face as people of color every day. A powerful conversation from a powerful group of Reds.
Phil and Pat are back to talk the Liverpool Yutes win over Shrewsbury and what the FA Cup means these days. Then it's on to review the win over Southampton, a look at the Jordan Henderson POTY candidacy, and the Villains and Heroes of Social Media.
Phil and Pat are back in person in El Paso and talk all about the Reds "fitted clean sheet" at Tottenham, the Checkmark Villains of Social Media, and an unlikely but significant Social Media Hero
Phil and Pat are back to break down the City match, the glorious goals, the midfield selection, the defensive pecking order, Mourinho back in the picture, and Barcelona...heroes?
Phil and Pat get together and do a brief recap of the United draw and then get into the meat of the episode which is the way that we look at players and how our perception of them changes day to day. Then it's Ballon d'Or shortlist, Heroes and Villains, and a little post-credits FIFA eSports talk
Phil and Pat are back for a new season and just like any side need special reinforcements. Stan Whyte joins up to make it a trio and it is all about LFC opening the PL with a win and claiming more European silverware in Istanbul. Then they talk heroes and villains and it gets intense. We back.
Pat and Phil are back to talk #6, the departure of Daniel Sturridge, next season's kits, transfer rumors, and LFC summer vacations. Happy end to Season 5 and we'll see you soon for Season 6!
Phil and Pat are joined by Dan Staley and tackle a big season review, CL Final Preview, Twitter Villains and Listener topics, all while sprinkling the episode heavily with Game of Thrones and Avengers references.
Pat and Phil are back and in top form. They talk their beer, the run of fixtures since the last episode, and dive deep into the matches against Chelsea and Porto. In-depth player analysis and an assessment of the overall situation in the league and Champions League are all included so get on in!

Pat and Phil are joined by Dan Staley (aka Darby Daniel, aka King Darbo) and this episode is all Chicago, Cardiff review (ft. the Hobgoblin), Arsenal Preview, Social Media Heroes and Villains, and so much in between.
The Brendan Rodgers Era at Anfield coincided with the rise of LFC's podcasting and blogging community and it honestly couldn't have come at a worse time for the man. His rise from Swansea to Liverpool was sharp, his rise from midtable to title contender even sharper, and his fall from grace was sharpest of all. Truly a roller coaster of a tenure, if the roller coaster ends like mine did when playing Roller Coaster Tycoon...poorly. Reminisce with us about the transfers, the moments, the songs sung and the tears cried.
The Gringos start with a bit of a roundup of the recent international break and some of the potential injury issues facing the squad. Then it's back to October 2010, with the sale of LFC to FSG from Hicks and Gillett, with Hodgson at the helm and we walk through the ups, downs, the goals (both scored and conceded), the trophies won and lost and every crazy incident in between. The nostalgic masochist in your family will love this one so come with us, won't you?
Phil and the newly engaged Pat talk beer distribution on par with Alisson, Big Joe Gomez, a respected front 3 without much help, a tactical issue in midfield and our normal social media heroes and villains. All that and more in this episode of the Two Red Gringos
Pat and Phil enjoy a few brews and do an in-depth dive into the win against PSG, the upcoming fixtures against Southampton and Chelsea, and the social media heroes and villains of the week.
Beer conversations abound at the beginning as Pat and Phil take on the haters of both Modelo Negra and IPAs in one fell swoop. Then it's on to the Palace match where the controversy is squashed, Alisson, Virg and Big Joe Gomez all get special praise, Naby Keita's turn is drooled over and the Front 3 is analyzed. Sadio Mane gets his moment in the sun as well. Finally, we analyze the Heroes and Villains of Social Media this week, with some surprising entries.Special Shouts to Alex Mansfield, Michael Caley, Simon Brundish, Puck Sherburn and Geoff DeBisschop for their contributions on twitter.
The Gringos are joined by Alan Esparza and Brian Lazo, who help break down the definitive rankings of prominent Mexican beers with funny stories and plenty of nonsense along the way. The episode begins with everyone Picking Their Poison for the show, with representation from Modelo, Dos Equis, Estrella Jalisco and yes, even Sol.Then the list is broken down, which I won't spoil for you, I want you to react the same way we did. Finally, there's brief LFC talk at the end of the sode, bookended by classic Mexican tunes. Hope you enjoy. Cheers.
Phil and Pat talk heavy beers, keepers, strikers, midfield depth, and a little about El Paso's new USL team
Pat and Phil are joined by Dan Staley to get immediate reaction to a night that Liverpool fans will not soon forget. The topics are all over the place but the thesis is clear, Liverpool deserve this final and we all back Klopp to get the job done in Kiev. ALLEZ ALLEZ ALLEZ
Pat and Phil are joined by Alan Ledford of MountainStar Sports Group and talk loads of topics surrounding the most recently announced USL expansion team. They also do their best to introduce Alan to #SoccerTwitter and..well, you can't say we didn't warn you
Pat and Phil talk Phil's return to El Paso, the Roma Draw, the best and worst LFC kits of the last 10 years, and Pat's emotional vulnerability to the Fast and the Furious
Pat and Phil tackle the international break, the character assassination of Emre Can, the possible return of Nathaniel Clyne, the absurdity that is Roy Hodgson and a preview of Liverpool-Crystal Palace. Pat drinks Brexit from a glass
Phil and Pat attack Lovren like a poor striker, talk Mourinho's shocking comments, UCL Quarterfinal Draw and a look at LFC Journos
Pat and Phil welcome Stan Whyte to the show and talk all kinds of stuff. Random Philly house parties, the impact of Sadio Mane after his European hat trick, Gini's job in midfield, Virgil's defensive partner, and closing it out with some American lower league chat (which Pat is totally a part of too!)This was fun, regardless and you should have fun listening too!
Bombs. Bombs left and right. 4 absolute bombs for each goal, and a big ol' F bomb dropped on live TV by the gaffer. Absolute class on and off the field. The Gringos also discuss some lingering transfer news as silly season is well and truly in full swing, and there's bonus content left, right, and center in this episode so you won't want to miss it.Special shout outs to 11Tegen11, Indy Reds Podcast, LFC Austin, Song4ds, and Manhattan Doc (aka Cap Arse Biscuits)
The Gringos are feeling a bit emo today, so it's mid-2000s emo to bring us in, and Kanye to take us through the Phil Coutinho saga. They'll talk the way he left, the timing of the move, and round it off remembering the better times when O Magico was ours. From there, its a look back at the Derby, from Virgil's winner to WWF Superstar Virgil's impersonation of our Dutch match winner. There's also a look at Andrew Robertson's emergence as the 1st choice left back and some much-needed criticism of Adam Lallana. Finally, it's a look ahead to City. The Gringos are scared but optimistic, and as long as Lallana is nowhere near the team, we have a good shot at a result. They wrap up by addressing some trash Twitter rumors and opinions, putting LFC Twitter's absurdity into sharp focus. Thanks to Modelo, High Prarie Whiskey, and Southern Star Brewery for fueling this pod with their delicious beverages.
The Gringos are back and they're here to move on past the West Brom disappointment and focus on the present and future. What has come over Anfield to make it such a drag? And what are the Reds going to get from Sunday's game at Bournemouth. There's plenty of other stuff in here, I just want to be done so just give it a listen will ya?
Pat and Phil are back together (over the internet) and that means a new episode! This is all Liverpool here. Then some discussion of Phil Coutinho and his situation with Brazil and LFC, and a couple of off-script comments on Divock Origi. There's also some speculation about Can/Goretzka before a discussion of LFC's defense. Finally, we conduct a mock draw for the 2018 World Cup and enjoy some fake analysis of fake groups ahead of the December 1st draw in Moscow.Subscribe to Two Red Gringos on iTunesFollow us on Twitter and Instagram @TwoRedGringosCheck out our website tworedgringos.comEnjoy the Drunkest LFC Podcast on Earth!
In the wake of the Chapecoense tragedy, Phil and Pat pay tribute to a team that helped a community achieve its wildest sporting dreams. Then its back to normal with Pick Your Poison, a review of Jordan Henderson's incredible season so far, a review of the Best(Worst) LFC Twitter moments. We also take a look at US Soccer and the cringeworthy rally for Don Garber in Cincinnati, and finally we answer listener's Twitter questions. Peak.
Well a momentous occasion has already taken place in the United States in November. The Cubs have won the World Series! What did you think I was talking about? And with everything else going on, things are a mess but LFC continues to tear it up so Phil and Pat gush about it all. FMC, Emre, Jordan, Joel, and even Adam get praise. Pretty much everyone except Danny Ings (who will be just fine). Some serious talk closes the show.
Phil and Pat review their respective brews of choice as they do every week in "Pick Your Poison." The conversation then turns to Leicester and a discussion of the captain, Jordan Henderson, who features in our segment known as, "F*** the Haters." There is also a preview of Chelsea and some discussion of Gini Wijnaldum's goalscoring record. We round out the talk with some discussion of stats like xG and pass maps (shout out to @11tegen11) and Nashville FC/SC
Phil and Patrick have plenty of tough topics to tackle in this episode. Chief among them, "When does pumpkin beer become acceptable?" Also brought up are Liverpool's formation and score predictions for the game against Tottenham on Saturday, Mamadou Sakho's status at the club, and Daniel Sturridge's apparent bust-up with Jurgen Klopp (Read: load of shit) Also, they have some apologizing to do. (Ashley you're our favorite and don't ever think otherwise)
Phil and Pat have to get some business out of the way at the start of the show regarding Sacramento Republic FC. From there, we roundup which fine, upstanding public house the Gringos are spending the first matchday at. There's also a quite detailed review of a Chico's Tacos "Taco" as the main location is closing it's doors (some would say mercifully). The show is closed out by a small short review of actual football and how Liverpool will line up against Arsenal. This one went off the rails big time but who are we kidding, you know what you're getting with us.
Phil and Pat are joined by Dan Staley and Wade Berger from the Summertime Chi and talk all things LFC preseason. Wild predictions, scathing reviews of friendlies, and soaring praise for unproven youngsters. It's all poppin off and yes, me and Pat were drinking again.
The Two Red Gringos are both in Texas for the first time in months and are back with what can only be described as a mammoth episode, clocking in at just over 2 and a half hours. With Martin Skrtel's disaster of an appearance against Southampton and talk of a European Super League looming, Phil and Patrick do the only thing they know to do; lash out. Skrtel, Charlie Stillitano and American sports owners in general get taken to task. "In the Anals of History, people are going to be talking about three things: the discovery of fire, invention of the submarine, and Episode 9 of the Two Red Gringos."
What do Bernie Sanders and Leicester City have in common? More than you might think. It's Super Tuesday in the United States and Phil and Patrick talk that, this season's craziness and recap Liverpool's League Cup Final loss to Manchester City.
Things have not been going LFC's way and now the ownership raises ticket prices. Something had to be done, so Phil and Patrick drank beer and ranted about it.
