Many Christian wonder what is God will for me? What can i do for God? We many not all be called to preach or to sing but we have all been given the ability to stand in the gap to intercede on behalf of others. Jesus said that he was giving us the keys or the authority of the kingdom over the enemy abilities allowing so we could stand in the gap knowing that we can stand and fight for others in need.
Our motives are reflected in our actions and our carnal desire to be in control will cause us to try to manipulate people with our words and action. We judge people base on their outer look, we have favorite when God tells us to love all the same even our enemies. By our words we degrade those we consider beneath us when God created us all equal, doing so is a sin and we will be judge for it unless repented putting us in danger of spending eternity in hell. Prov 18:21 tells us that death and life is in the power of the tongue our words not only effect others but ourself also, a person that says I can't never will. God has called us to be a reflection of himself in order to reach other but we can only do this if we have the right motives. Only those who chose to be obedient to the leading of the Holy Spirit will be able to live a life that please God.
Life doesn't always go the way we plan it and we often find ourselves asking where are you and when will your promises come to pass? The truth is that God never fail and his promises are true but we sometimes must wait and be patient for God look at the big picture went most of us only looks at what is going on right now. There may also things taking place in the spiritual world that could be preventing our answer from coming to pass so we must wait patiently for the answer. There are also other reason why we don't receive what we ask for like what we ask for are not part of his will for us or like James 4:3 says we ask for the wrong reasons to satisfy our flesh in theses case the answer we seek will never come. If you are waiting for an answer to a prayer and you know that your heart is right with God then wait patiently, remain faithful and don't give up for God will always keep his word.
In exchange for salvation God expects a total surrender of our lives to him which includes our money. Not that he expects for us to give it all away but that we are always ready to be use by him to help other even financially. Most people worry that they will not have enough if they give to others but God promises to take care of those who surrender all to him. The bible teaches us that God sees greediness as idol worshiping and that kind of behavior will prevent you from entering the Kingdom of God. God also loves a cheerful giver he blesses only the gift that comes from the heat. Many Christians struggle with the message of tithing but it is through tithing that your local church can help those in need in your community. God promises to bless those who tithes by faith.
Our motive are always reflected in our actions or behaviors. Do you seek the lime light? Do you think nobody can do it like you? Then what motivates you is pride the desire to have all eyes on you. You will be judge for pride for we are called to be savants of one another and not to seek to have every one eyes on us. Pride is also express when we see ourselves better then other when we see needs and don't show compassion because our time and the things we are doing are more important to us. Greed is also another motivation that stops us from showing compassion. God will take care of our need if we are obedient to his leading to help those he has called us to help. God has called us to be an extension of his hand and he will bless us so we can bless other in his name, our job his to be attentive to his Spirit and be there for those he send us to bless in his name. The bible tells us that people motivated by pride and greed will not be given access to the kingdom of God.
The bible tells us that God judges out thoughts and intent our motive and so must we learn to do the same. We are not to judge a book by it's cover nor are we to judge a person by what we see externally.
1 Cor 2:8Â tells us that Satan would have never crucified Jesus if he had known that is was would be through his death that God would make a way to reunite himself with mankind. Jesus came to give us life to give us the opportunity to be one with God through him. Jesus also came to make us whole to restore true joy and peace to those who would accept him as savior. Jesus is now sitting by his father but he has sent the Holy Spirit to live in us in our heart and guide us to righteousness. The Holy Spirit is our guide to spiritual growth but he is also our direct link to God and Jesus. All this was made possible to us through the cross and it was for this that Jesus died, knowing what would be accomplish through his death brought joy to his heart and he therefore willingly laid down his life (Heb 12:2).
In Chapter 4:12-19 Paul speaks to us about suffering we will encounter as Christians because many will not understand the changes in your life as a believer. Just like Jesus you will suffer insults and anger from those who don't understand your decision to live for God or the calling on your life. Enduring suffering for Christ is one way to glorify him in the earth. The only suffering we should not rejoice in is when we suffer in doing our own thing and not God's will. We must also be able to recognize when our suffering is a correction of God for doing wrong, Heb 12:8 tells us that God will disciple us because he loves us but refusing his correction is refusing God. Peter then tells us God will judge this world one day but his judgement will begin with those who belong to him, correcting them, exposing them in order to give them an opportunity to make themselves ready for his return. He will then judge the world and establish his kingdom on earth. Peter ends chapter 4 telling the righteous that not all who are saved will enter the Kingdom of God but only those who do the will of the father and live a life pleasing to him. We must live a life on fire for God and not be lukewarm.
In Chapter 4:10-11 Peter reveals to us that there are spiritual gift available to us, gift we are to used to the benefit of others and not ourselves. 1 Cor 12:4-11 tells us that there are a total of nine gifts available given as the Holy Spirit wills. These gift our given to us who are part of the body of Christ through salvation to help us continue the works of Jesus as his body on earth. Just like our bodies are composed or many different members the body of Christ is also composed of many different members working under the anointing of different gifts of the Holy Spirit.
In Chapter 4:3-9 Peter tells us that as Christians we will suffer in the flesh from judgement from those who don't understand our devotion to God. We must remember that everyone will stand before God after we die, knowing this Paul calls us to live a life of deep heartfelt love toward everyone including those we think are our enemies. We are called by God To be his voice and hands, to show his love through our actions and recourses including our money. Jesus told us that we can't serve two master, we can't serve God while trying to hold on to the recourses God has given us. God blesses us so he can bless others through us so we must liver a life of compassion.
In 1 Peter chapter 3:18-22 we are told that Jesus suffered on the cross for us in order to make a way for us to reconnect with God by giving us power to overcome sin and live a righteous life. We are also told that before he resurrected Jesus went to preach and judged those who had died under the Old Covenant including those who died in Noah whose imagination and thoughts were continually evil. After his resurrection Jesus returned to heaven to sit at the right hand of God where all angels, authorities and powers are now subject unto him. In Chapter 4:1-4 Peter tells us that like Jesus who suffered in the flesh when he was crucified we must also be willing to suffer by crucifying the flesh by resisting our carnal sinful desires. We are called to cleans ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit (2 Cor 7:1), we can only achieve this by dying to the flesh through the renewing of our mind and by becoming doers of God word. We must put on the robe of righteousness, the only way we can get ride of the of the stains of sin is by dying to sin.
In 1 Peter chapter 3 we learn that we must live to a higher standard call to live a life that reflects God standards. We are to love and honor one another, learn to control of carnal emotions. God watches over our actions and behavior because we are called to be a reflection of himself. The way we behave and the things we say can stop God's blessing from being on our lives but doing the right thing in God's eyes even if you suffer will cause God to bless you. It is better to suffer for doing good then to suffer for doing wrong.
In Luke chapter 11:1-13 Jesus disciples have seen Jesus praying and they then asked him to teach them about how to effectively like he does. So Jesus tells then how to pray more effectively which is to pray by approaching the Father with shameless persistence and because of knowing the Father with Holy Spirit revelation knowledge of the Father's heart of love!
In 1 Peter chapter 2:11-25 we learn that we must live to a higher standard call to be in God likeness in behavior and in respecting authority and loving those around us. In order achieve this we must learn to resist carnal desires by renewing our minds according to God word.
God has a time clock a Day of Judgement that is to come where all will be judged. In Order to prepare us for that day God is shacking and exposing the things that can prevent us from being with him eternally. Heb 12:14 tells us that without holiness no man can see meaning interact or live eternally in God presence, we must cleans ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and Spirit (2 Cor 7:1).
Those who truly know Christ will seek to become one with him to walk as he walks. In order to do this we must embark on the road to perfection by purify ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit. God seek intimacy, to become one with him and this requires total surrender to him.
In 1 Peter chapter 2:6-10 we learn that Jesus is our cornerstone also referred in Isa 28:16 as a sound foundation on which we can build our life. Those who not only believe in him but truly live for him will receive from God a new identity as being God chosen people, a royal priesthood, God's own possession.
1 Peter chapter 2 starts with Peter encouraging us to change our behavior in order to become a true reflection of God to the world around us and in order to mature spiritually. Spiritual growth only happen when we apply the word of God to our life when we become doers of the word.
Jesus ask Peter to feed his sheep speaking of all believers who would come to accept Jesus as savior. In 1 Peter 1:13-25 we are called to be holy in all manner of conversation or behavior as our Father in heaven is holy, this is a call for us to return to what we were created to be in God image and likeness.
Jesus ask Peter to feed his sheep speaking of all believers who would come to accept Jesus as savior. In 1 Peter 1:4-12 we are introduce to the fast that as Christians we have and inheritance that comes to us in this life as love, grace and mercy from God and in the life to come in living in his presence with Jesus in the New Jerusalem to come.
Jesus ask Peter to feed his sheep speaking of all believers who would come to accept Jesus as savior. In the first three verses of 1 Peter we are introduce to God foreknowledge, grace, peace and to sanctification thru the blood of Jesus.
In John 16:23 Jesus told his disciples that he was leaving and that when this would happen they were to no longer ask him nothing but that they should ask the Father in his name. Jesus gave us the authority of his name so that we could come to the father directly and so we could continue the work he had started.
We sometime forget that Jesus who is our now our savior will one day be our judge, on that day we will not be judge according to his works but ours.
God sent his Son as a gift to redeem mankind from the death of sin, from being separated from him a God that truly loves us
Kingdom People are equipped with power from the Holy Spirit that God uses a signs to the world of his love and power
Kingdom People are people who put on the nature of God by putting on the fruits of the Spirit witch are evidence of a Spirit driven life
God sent Jesus to the world to introduce the world to his Kingdom his original plan for mankind a society that walk and live in genuine love, the God kind of love.

End times event not only include the appearance of the antichrist, wars and deception by false prophets but also includes the wrath of God against those who have chosen to reject him and the establishment of God eternal kingdom with Jesus and his bride as overseers. Most of these events to come are recorded in the book of Revelation prophesied as four housemen invading the earth, a scroll with seven seal that only Jesus can open, seven trumpets blown by angels each announcing terrible end time event and God's wrath on those who still refuse to repent illustrated as seven bowls containing seven plagues to come on the earth.
The rapture of the church is compared to a Galilean wedding where the bride is to make herself ready for the return of the groom. The same is true for believers who are to make themself ready for the return of Jesus. Jesus will return as a thief in the night just like a Galilean groom returns o get his bride.
In Mat 24 the disciples ask Jesus three question regarding the destruction of the temple, his return and the end of the world. Jesus sit down with them and talk about coming event including many that are taken place today. Jesus in Mat 24:13 tells us that only those who remain faithful to the word of God will be save.

If you take an honest look at your life you will see that you have many thing to thank God for.
God wants you to live in Victory and Paul give us a roadmap on how to get there.

In order to call ourselves a Christian we must produce fruits or changes brought on by the Holy Spirit through a life of surrender to God Will. These changes will elevate you through thee levels of spiritual growth.

The truth that once saved always saved is a lie not everyone that says Lord, Lord will enter the Kingdom of God. We are sealed unto the day of redemption, it's only on the day of Judgement that you will find if you are truly saved.
The truth is that once saved always saved is a lie not everyone that says Lord, Lord will enter the Kingdom of God.
Salvation does not only bring us forgiveness of sin but it also give us access to the Kingdom of God

God has called us to work as a body not as individuals. It is important to join ourselves to other members of the body in order to accomplish what God has called us to do.
Jesus tells us in John 14:6 that he is the way the truth and the life. Through him we can be made whole because accepting Jesus in our heart allow God to deposit his Spirit in us whose job is to bring us to God's image the way he created us to be in the fist place.
Jesus tells us in Luke 4:18 that he came to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to those captives by strongholds, to open the prison door to those who are bound through fear and to open the eyes to the truth of God love, mercy, grace available to all mankind.
God has expectation for those who claim to be his, God's many blessing are conditional on us meeting those expectations
Becoming a Temple For God to dwell in Part 7 We continue our study of becoming a temple for God to dwell in by looking at principle number 4 in Jesus foundational truths
Faith Without Works Is Dead
A church is to execute God's will not theirs and must allow God to move as he wants.
We must apply faith in every area of our lives including healing, finances and salvation.
