This Sunday, September, we continue our sermon series through the book of Genesis, The World According to God. This week, we will be covering Genesis 1:1-31, God According to God. Who is God?How did He create the world? When did He create the world? And what can we learn about Him from His creation?Genesis 1 is one of the most debated chapters in the Bible. How you interpret it will have a major impact on how you interpret the rest of the Genesis account... as well as the rest of Scripture. It is important to understand the historical reality and literary beauty of the creation account. But beyond the particulars of Genesis 1, we have to be careful that we do not miss the focus of this passage. GODThe primary goal of Genesis 1 is to introduce us to God, Elohim, the All-Powerful One, the God of creation, the God of Israel. From Genesis 1, we learn about God's invisible attributes, His eternal power and His divine nature (Romans 1:20).God creates. God speaks. God sees. God separates. God names. God blesses. God gives. These actions of God reveal His essential nature. May God open our eyes to His glory as we study His creative power!
My name is Rev. Alvin Lewis of Power To Change Ministry. Thank you for sharing your day with us, we would love to hear from you, your feedback is very important.2 Corinthians 12:1-10 (CWSB)Paul's Vision1 It is not expedient for me doubtless to glory. I will come to visions and revelations of the Lord.2 I knew a man in Christ above fourteen years ago, (whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) such a one caught up to the third heaven.3 And I knew such a man, (whether in the body, or out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;)4 How that he was caught up into paradise, and heard unspeakable words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter.5 Of such a one will I glory: yet of myself I will not glory, but in mine infirmities.6 For though I would desire to glory, I shall not be a fool; for I will say the truth: but now I forbear, lest any man should think of me above that which he seeth me to be, or that he heareth of me.7 And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure.8 For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me.9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly -- therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.10 Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.Power To Change Ministry Rev. église AB Lausanne ; KJV 2 Timothy 1 Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, according to the promise of life which is in Christ Jesus, To Timothy, my dearly beloved son: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Lord. I thank God, whom I serve from my forefathers with pure conscience, that without ceasing I have remembrance of thee in my prayers night and day; Greatly desiring to see thee, being mindful of thy tears, that I may be filled with joy; When I call to remembrance the unfeigned faith that is in thee, which dwelt first in thy grandmother Lois, and thy mother Eunice; and I am persuaded that in thee also. Wherefore I put thee in remembrance that thou stir up the gift of God, which is in thee by the putting on of my hands. For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner: but be thou partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God; Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began, But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel: ...

We're all familiar with the tired stereotype of the “God of the Old Testament,” a capricious creator Who subjects His chosen people to endless cycles of punishment and retribution. But in her reading of the Book of Genesis, novelist and essayist Marilynne Robinson describes a God of gentleness, one wildly in love with creation and humanity. In this special episode of the Commonweal Podcast, moderated by senior editor Matt Boudway, poet and memoirist Christian Wiman joins Robinson for a conversation about the Book of Genesis. Robinson and Wiman also discuss scripture and theology more generally—especially as the two practice it through fiction and poetry. In this video, we delve into the critical topic of the church's responsibility toward its pastor. Using passages from the Bible as our guide, we explore the lessons we can learn from the pastor's role and the church's duty towards them. Highlights Esteem Your Pastor Highly: First Thessalonians 5:12 reminds us to esteem our pastors highly, not because of their personality, but because they work for God. When a pastor does great work, it's essential for the church to speak highly and lovingly of them. Feed the Flock of God: According to 1 Peter 5:2, pastors have the vital responsibility to feed the flock of God spiritually with His word. It's not just about preaching; it's about nourishing the congregation's spiritual growth. Take Oversight Willingly: Pastors should take the oversight of the church willingly, not out of constraint. It's a role they should embrace with enthusiasm and a ready mind, serving the congregation wholeheartedly. Not for Filthy Lucre: Ministry shouldn't be about money. Pastors should carry out their duties without focusing on financial gain. This selflessness sets a positive example for the congregation. Don't Be Lords Over God's Heritage: Pastors are shepherds, not owners, of the flock. The sheep belong to God. This reminds us of the humility and servant leadership that pastors should exhibit. Peace Among Yourselves: When the church esteems their pastor highly and speaks well of them, there will be peace among the congregation. This peace fosters a harmonious and loving church community. Be Wise in Handling Conflicts: It's crucial to handle internal church matters discreetly, especially when unsaved loved ones are listening. Speaking positively about your pastor even during disagreements reflects well on the church and encourages others to join the faith. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/gnbc/message

Psalm 51:1-7 1 Have mercy on me, O God, according to your unfailing love; according to your great compassion blot out my transgressions. 2 Wash away all my iniquity and cleanse me from my sin. 3 For I know my transgressions, and my sin is always before me. 4 Against you, you only, have I sinned and done what is evil in your sight; so you are right in your verdict and justified when you judge. 5 Surely I was sinful at birth, sinful from the time my mother conceived me. 6 Yet you desired faithfulness even in the womb; you taught me wisdom in that secret place. 7 Cleanse me with hyssop, and I will be clean; wash me, and I will be whiter than snow.

Lucifer is the great copycat and wants to be omnipresent like the Lord. AI has the capability or partially and is the fake god. 6G is the fake holy ghost that communicates at the cell level. Last, the anti christ will rule AI via his conscious placed in AI. Think of predictive programing. Fallen Angels and a Great Deception According to the Bible, fallen angels are rebellious beings who have turned away from God's divine purpose and defiled God's Creation. It is a seed war as the days of Noah. Many astute Bible readers suggest that the arrival of aliens are the manifestation of these fallen angels, orchestrating a grand deception to mislead and defile humanity. These fallen angels may present themselves as advanced beings, offering technological and spiritual insights to gain influence over mankind. This deception could lead humanity into a soul trap. From Revelation, the false prophet comes from “out of the earth.” Sounds like in the earth to me. And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon. 12And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him (anti Christ), and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. 13And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men, The Antichrist as a Hologram Biblical prophecies allude to the emergence of a figure known as the Antichrist, who will deceive the masses with miraculous signs and wonders. Drawing upon these scriptures, some propose that the Antichrist could utilize holographic technology to perform extraordinary feats, furthering their influence over the world. This holographic deception would serve as a powerful tool to manipulate and control the masses, exploiting their vulnerability and desire for guidance. The Mark of the Beast: Hologram or Quantum Tattoo In the Book of Revelation, the mark of the beast is mentioned, symbolizing allegiance to an oppressive world system. While interpretations vary, some suggest that the mark could be a hologram projected onto individuals or a quantum tattoo embedded within their body. Think of this as biometrics. This mark, whether visible or invisible, could serve as a means of control, enabling the manipulation of personal information, restricting access to resources, mind control and fostering a global surveillance state. Transhumanism: The Beast System Transhumanism, the belief in enhancing human capabilities through technological integration, has gained traction in recent years. Concerns have been raised regarding its potential to blur the boundaries between man and machine, leading to the loss of individuality and spiritual essence. Some argue that transhumanism aligns with the beast system mentioned in scripture, as it seeks to replace or enhance human nature with artificial means, essentially stealing the essence of one's soul. The promotion of trans rights is a movement to transhumanism and the Beast System.

In this episode of the Reformed Brotherhood Podcast, Jesse Schwamb and Tony Arsenal discuss the importance of the second commandment in understanding how to worship God. They explain that the second commandment is a regulative call to defeat distractions that compromise our appreciation and worship of God. By worshiping God according to His precepts and refusing to engage in worship in ways that He has not commanded us, the Spirit moves through those things, and God transforms His people. Overall, this episode provides a deep dive into the second commandment, emphasizing the importance of understanding how to worship God in the way that he wants to be worshiped.

Revelation 4:1-3 John gets invited backstage to see God's throne room in heaven. What he sees, he compares to precious stones that dazzle in the light. (See also Psalm 104:1-2; 1 Timothy 6:16; 1 John 1:5.) Ezekiel 1:4, 13, 22, 26-28 The prophet Ezekiel likewise saw a vision of God in which he used analogies to burning fire, flashing lightning, and gleaming stones to describe what he saw. Revelation 4:4-5 Twenty-four elders surround God's throne. Although we cannot be certain who these beings are, it's likely that they are angelic beings (not deceased people) who are the counterpart of the church on earth. Revelation 5:11 In addition to the twenty-four elders, God's throne is surrounded by four living creatures and thousands upon thousands of angels. Revelation 4:6-8 The four living creatures are top tier heavenly beings, positioned closest to God's throne. They are ever vigilant and probably represent the totality of God's creation (lions, oxen, humans, and eagles). Once again, Ezekiel provides an interesting parallel in his description of the cherubim who carry God's mobile throne (Ezekiel 1:4-14). Revelation 4:8 The living creatures tirelessly proclaim God's holiness, day and night. We find a similar throne room scene in Isaiah's vision of God in the temple (Isaiah 6:1-7). Revelation 4:9-11 The mightiest creatures in all of creation drop to the ground before God. He is worthy because He created all things. Would you like to see His throne some day? If you are faithful, you will see it in the Kingdom of God (Revelation 21:2-4; 22:1-5).The post God According to Revelation first appeared on Living Hope.
By [wbt_preacher_link preacher=”Jerry Wierwille”] God of GRACE — 1 Pet 5:10 The grace of God has been most fully revealed in the life of the Lord Jesus Christ, and we are recipients of God's grace through trusting in Christ. Everything we have received is given by God's grace. God doesn't owe us anything. Therefore, whatever He has given to us is completely unmerited. We have done nothing to deserve it. God of PERSEVERANCE — Rom 15:5 Our own strength is limited. If we had to rely on what we could accomplish or put up with, we would not be able to endure through trials and adversity. But God gives us the ability to persevere even if the troubles of life are many. God of HOPE — Rom 15:13 Hope is what keeps us looking forward rather than backward. God has a plan that He is bringing to pass according to His plan and purposes. And because God is faithful and trustworthy, we can believe in His promises and have hope in their certain fulfillment at the proper time. God of PEACE — Rom 15:33; 16:20; 1 Cor 14:33; Phil 4:9; 1 Thes 5:23; Heb 13:20 God is the source of our peace—both within ourselves and with one another. Through Christ, we are brought into a relationship with God that heals our restless souls and brings a quietness and harmony to our lives. The God of peace is bigger than any of our worries or anxieties. The post God According to the Epistles first appeared on Living Hope.
