Most entrepreneurs are crushing it on paper… but quietly starving for connection behind the scenes. And that's exactly why I'm so fired up about today's episode of The Happy Hustle Podcast, because I'm sitting down with my brother Stefanos Sifandos for a real, raw, and deeply powerful conversation about relationships, masculinity, healing, and what it actually takes to feel “turned on” by your life again.Stefanos is the kind of guy who doesn't just talk about connection, he lives it. He's a husband, a father, an international speaker, and a transformational coach who's helped people heal trauma, redefine masculinity, and build deeper, more connected lives for over two decades. He's also the author of a brand new book called Tuned In and Turned On: A Path to True Connection, Deep Healing, and Lasting Love, and trust me… It's not just a book, it's a blueprint. In this episode, we go way beyond surface-level “relationship tips.” We talk about the stuff most people avoid… the triggers, the trauma patterns, the disconnection that sneaks in when you're busy building a business and trying to be the provider… and the emotional armor that slowly kills intimacy if you don't face it.Stefanos breaks down how many of us aren't actually struggling because we're “bad at relationships”… we're struggling because we're operating from old wounds, unconscious protection strategies, and a nervous system that's been stuck in survival mode for way too long. And the reason this conversation matters so much right now is that the world is more connected digitally than ever… but emotionally? Spiritually? Intimately? We're disconnected as hell. This episode is an invitation to come back home to yourself and, from that place, build relationships that actually feel safe, alive, and deeply fulfilling. If you're an entrepreneur trying to build a business while also being a great partner, parent, and human… this episode is for you. What does Happy Hustlin mean to you?Stefanos says embracing the multi-layered aspects of being humans, right? That involves commerce and money and success and family and love and joy and tragedy and health and wellness and novelty and variety, like all the things, man. And really embracing that in a deeper way and submitting to that, like submitting to the you know, the fruits that God has given us, that our soulful expression has the opportunity to experience. This week we kick off our new 'DNA' series - looking at who we are and how we live. Today we are invited to be a people who praise extravagantly and worship intimately. What is praise and worship? Why do they matter? How do they shape our everyday lives? Dan unpacks the difference between praising God for what He's done and worshipping Him for who He is, calling us to be truly present with God instead of lost in “useless imaginings.” Expect practical helps, Bible anchors, and a heartfelt invitation to surrender.

Eva is missing this week, so Clone Wars is taking a back seat yet again! This one gets a little weird. We spend WAY too long debating what constitutes a “tunnel” in the objective sense. But outside of that, a fairly standard episode: segments, and then discussion of a Screen Rant article! Specifics include: what makes Luke Skywalker a Jedi? Does Book of Boba Fett provide anything of worth to the franchise? And finally… Grogu: what was he doing there? Full show notes: https://notes.moseisley.xyz/s/qAk9JSiCL#

God's desire is to become one with us to live within our hearts and to guide us by his Spirit. This is only possible if we invite him in by receiving salvation by accepting the sacrifice Christ has done for us. When you do become one with God intimately like Paul you will realize that this relationship with him is the most important thing in your life more valuable the life itself.

"God Cares About You" — Be Encouraged! PodcastHave you ever felt like God just… doesn't see you?Like you're doing all the right things, but still feeling unseen, unheard, or overwhelmed with worry? Same. I've been there—wondering if God really cares about the pain I'm feeling, the prayers I'm praying, and the things I'm still waiting for.But today, we're resting in this truth from 1 Peter 5:7 (NLT):“Give all your worries and cares to God, for He cares about you.”This verse has been such a balm for my soul lately, and in this episode, I want to walk with you through what it really looks like to live this out. Not just reading it, but believing it. Deeply. Personally. We'll talk about:The real-life moments that make us question if God truly sees us (yes, even tantrums in the grocery store and the sting of being left out)How we sometimes carry around things God never meant for us to holdWhy casting our cares on Him starts with humbling our heartsAnd I'll leave you with 3 simple takeaways to help you come back to this truth: God cares for you. Deeply. Intimately. Always.Whether you're in a season of waiting, worry, or weariness—this one's for you, friend.✨ Here's what we're holding on to:Remind your heart of who God is and what He's already done.Cast it out (and don't reel it back in --- Let it go, for real!)Trust Him with the parts of your story you can't see yet.Because the truth is—God doesn't need us to have it all together. He just wants our heart. He wants to carry what's too heavy for us. Why? Because He cares about you.

Welcome to the School of Ministry podcast, where today's lesson dives deeply into the transformative power of knowing Christ intimately, as taught in Philippians chapter 3. The Apostle Paul, shares the profound simplicity and complexity of the his desire to 'know him and the power of his resurrection.' You'll discover the significance of the resurrection of Jesus Christ, an event that stands as one of the most verified in history, and how understanding this power is crucial for living a life anchored in faith and purpose. Throughout this episode, you'll hear compelling evidence and testimonies of those who, like the Apostle Paul, longed for a personal, experiential relationship with Christ that stretches beyond mere head knowledge. This includes inspiring stories of transformation, such as that of Little Rattlesnake, whose life changed dramatically upon embracing Jesus Christ personally. Whether you are a believer seeking deeper spiritual insight or someone curious about the power of the resurrection, this episode offers a fresh perspective on what it truly means to live a life of faith in Jesus Christ. Join us for a thought-provoking lesson that challenges and encourages listeners to seek a life-changing relationship with Christ.

Dr. Rob and Tami consider the timeline many couples face when traveling the road of recovery – how and when does it make sense to connect intimately again? Too often the addicted partner is ready to move into the future without allowing appropriate time for healing from the pain and betrayal of the past. How can couples recover and reconcile together in healthy and healing ways? TAKEAWAYS: [0:27] I'm turned on by women that look nothing like my wife. What does this mean about my arousal template? [4:30] Even models are made to feel like they are the wrong ‘type'. This isn't about you, it's about the broken person that is hurting you. [6:51] It's been 39 years without emotional intimacy. I need guidelines for living as married singles. [10:20] Why now? Consider what is prompting you to make a major change now. [17:34] Integrity issues are still a major problem. How can I enjoy intimacy again? [22:58] Setting boundaries for healthy sexuality and better communication. [26:45] Self-loathing and repulsion is a common side effect of acting out. [29:12] How can I help support my spouse through my recovery? [38:39] I'm open to reconciling, but he's accusing me of still living in the past. Is this manipulation? [44:35] Hurt spouses are often just looking to be heard and supported for a change. [45:55] Why is my partner's sex persona online nothing like his real life personality? [50:05] What your partner is doing is not as important as the level of safety that you deserve to feel. Historically Thinking: Conversations about historical knowledge and how we achieve it
In his long short story or very short novella entitled “The Man Without a Country,” Edward Everett Hale describes his protagonist Philip Nolan as a young man from the Mississippi Valley who “had grown up in the West of those days, in the midst of ‘Spanish plot', ‘Orleans plot', and all the rest. He had been educated on a plantation where the finest company was a Spanish officer or a French merchant from Orleans.” Nolan was, in other words, a young man who was used to foreign serpents in the western Eden. Little wonder, then, that in the story he participated in a conspiracy against a United States that he barely knew. In his new book Serpent in Eden: Foreign Meddling and Partisan Politics in James Madison's America, Tyson Reeder shows the reality behind a story published in 1863. For over forty years, James Madison was near the heart of American politics, perhaps entitled to be called the chief architect of both the Constitutional system and then of the party system that he had just a few years before decried. Intimately linked with both of these innovations were the influences of Spain, Great Britain and France, all eager to direct the young republic in ways that would benefit their interests in the Americas. Tyson Reeder is Assistant Professor of History at Brigham Young University. He was previously an editor of the Papers of James Madison at the University of Virginia, and author of Smugglers, Pirates, and Patriots: Free Trade in the Age of Revolution (2019). The ego's needs are endless. Basic dysfunction is a life where you constantly defend your problems because they have been your safety net your whole life. Isn't it scary to think about operating without problems, drama, or identification with your ego? We often become obsessed with our possessions, the work we do, our social status, physical appearance, and external recognition because without these things who are we? Today I want to talk about moving deeply into the NOW and disconnecting from our false sense of ego because the second you say yes to NOW, life starts working for you.References: Eckhart Tolle
