POPULARITY
The David Alliance TDAgiantSlayer@gmail.com Garth Heckman There is no chance, favor, haphazardness, specialness, calling, blessing, or deserving of a Godly life. What do I mean. When you look at someone who is Godly, has a solid marriage, financially secure, Godly kids and grandkids, They have Godly character, integrity and values… they ooze the presence of the Holy Spirit… no matter what hits them they just handle it like a boss, like an unmovable mountain of faith… they stay focused and locked in no matter what.. This doesn't just happen… you don't earn it, you are not born with it, you are not favored any more than anyone else. So how does one become a great guitar player… wait what? Or how about a great investor? Or how does one become a great writer? How does one become a master carpenter? You have a simple formula… Time, training, Test… TIME You have to spend time in that field… You don't just become a great artist because you choose to do it and that day… boom its you. Or guitar player or writer, or investor or MAN OF GOD. You have to put in the time. What does "10,000-hour rule," popularized by Malcolm Gladwell in his book Outliers, suggests that 10,000 hours of practice are needed to achieve mastery in any field. Training is fundamental. If you spend 10,000 hours learning under bad training or teaching it don't matter… you will still not achieve your best. I want to become a great preacher, speaker, communicator. So I write pages every week. I study great speakers and orators. I study great comedians and their delivery. I study the etymology behind my words. I train, I study, I work. I grade my talks, sermons, speeches etc… I hope I am harder on me than anyone else. And I ask others to rate my level of training. Finally I know you have to be tested. Now here is the kicker.. you have to find ways to test yourself. You have to put yourself in areas where you are pushed. If you are a writer, you hadn't in your material to publishers, you have people read it, you have other authors critique it. If you are an investor you put your own money in the market after your time and training. If you are an artist you see what your work will sell for? There are always opportunities to test your abilities. So back to becoming a man of God… Time, training and testing… How much time are you in the word of God, at church involved in ministries, in prayer, in small groups, in accountability groups. How much training teaching and learning are you doing. Is it quality training and teaching. Is it from a qualified instructor, pastor, teacher. Are you going to a church that challenges you to learn and not just tickle your ears. Sometimes we don't put ourselves around those who will push us, expect more from us. And finally test. Test your faith by sharing your faith. Sharing your opinions from a biblical perspective. Evangelism, prayer for the lost in the open market, on the street etc… Making the right decision when its tough, confessing your sins when its uncomfortable, being the head of the household and a godly husband, tithing and even giving above and beyond when you don't feel like you have it.
God has a time clock a Day of Judgement that is to come where all will be judged. In Order to prepare us for that day God is shacking and exposing the things that can prevent us from being with him eternally. Heb 12:14 tells us that without holiness no man can see meaning interact or live eternally in God presence, we must cleans ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and Spirit (2 Cor 7:1).

Most entrepreneurs crash and burn, not because they're burnt out, but because they aren't connected to God. They think spending more time reading the Bible, praying, and attending Church on Sunday is a waste of time. But the truth is, it rejuvenates you and can prevent burnout and business fatigue. Why? Because God wants us to excel. God wants us to reach our potential. And entrepreneurship is the perfect avenue to unlock that growth. But many of us stagnate, and our business results suffer because we never learned how to listen to God. Today's guest, author, podcaster, and marketing guru, David Pasqualone is going to change that. In this episode, you'll discover how to build your connection with God, and unleash your full potential. Listen now. Show Highlights Include: How an age-old "Golden Rule” helps you build trustworthy business relationships (7:28) The weird way geeking out on tech turns you into a master salesman (even if you hate sales) (9:37) Why adding “God Time” to your day subtracts burnout & exhaustion from your life (14:47) How being closer to God generates better results in your business (25:23) Want more from David? Do you have a need or a situation that needs God's intervention? Take it to the Lord in prayer! But how? The key is to understand the Lord's Prayer. The Lord's Prayer can become very rote, almost automatic, especially if you've grown up hearing and reciting it daily or weekly. However, when you understand the depth of this powerful prayer, you can see what is actually going on in the Courts of Heaven and petition God—the Just Judge—asking Him to manifest on earth what is written for you in the heavenly books. The Lord's Prayer is… Relational communication with God A moment to have an intimate connection with God Time to give Him your total attention … so that He can consume your mind and you can hear from Him. Join Rabbi Curt Landry as he dives deep into the power of prayer and walks you through each verse in the Lord's Prayer, providing practical insights into how to pray it in this encouraging episode of the Ancient Principles, Kingdom Authority podcast.

When trials, anxieties, and tough decisions loom large, sometimes it's best to hear from a voice of experience. In this Sunday podcast, Pastor Greg Laurie directs a special word of encouragement to young people: God has a plan for your life. Notes Whatever you're going through, it's going to be OK. What you go through isn't meant to destroy you but to develop you. “We comfort with the same comfort we are comforted with.” —2 Corinthians 1:4 You are loved and wanted by more people than you could ever imagine. God's plan and purpose for you is good! Put God first in your life. Read the Bible every day. “Study to show yourself approved unto God.” —2 Timothy 2:15 Success or failure in the Christian life is determined by how much of the Bible you get into your life on a daily basis and how obedient you are to it. Stop worrying and start praying. Worry can ruin your day, your week, and even your life if you let it. Worry does not empty tomorrow of its sorrow; it empties today of its strength. Give your worries to Jesus Christ. God is in control of your life. Have an attitude of gratitude. Job thanked God, despite his difficulties. Live with honesty and integrity. Character over charisma. “If I take care of my character, God will take care of my reputation.” —D. L. Moody Marry the right person. Find someone Godlier than you. Wedlock should be a padlock. Eight words you should say to your spouse every day: “I'm sorry,” “please forgive me,” and “I love you.” Tell those you love that you love them. Keep short accounts and forgive. In the last episode, I had Dr Erik Wielenberg on to offer some objections to William Lane Craig's views on God, time, and the Kalam cosmological argument. In today's episode, I have Dr Craig in the hot seat. We are chatting about his provocative view on God, time, and creation. Craig says that God is timeless sans creation, and temporal with creation. After defining some terms, we look at the different justifications that Craig offers for his view on God, time, and creation. Then, we bring on Objection Time. That's right, I have Craig answering several objections to his own view on divine eternality, as well as objections to the relational theory of time. Credits Host: R.T. Today I am joined by Dr Erik Wielenberg to discuss a recent exchange he had with William Lane Craig in the journal TheoLogica. We look at the details of God's relationship to time and the implications for the Kalam Cosmological argument. Erik argues that Craig's view on God and time entails two contradictions. He also argues that Craig's view on God and time undermines the success of the Kalam Cosmological argument. We get into the details of Erik's arguments. In the next episode, we will hear William Lane Craig's take on the arguments. Host: R.T.
