Pastor Don shares about the battle we all face between following God or our flesh.
In 2 Chronicles 20, King Jehoshaphat confronts a formidable army threatening Judah and turns to God in prayer. The Lord assures him through the prophet Jahaziel that the battle is His, urging trust and action. This passage emphasizes surrendering challenges to God, who fights for us and transforms struggles into opportunities.

In this message, Pastor Chad Veach dives into 1 Timothy 6:12, inspiring us to "Fight the Good Fight" and claim victory in both spiritual and personal battles. Addressing the ongoing challenges in Los Angeles and the importance of spiritual dedication, Pastor Chad reminds us that while the battle belongs to the Lord, we are also called to engage with intentionality, faith, and unwavering dedication. Through stories, scripture, and practical insights, this sermon encourages listeners to stand strong, maintain an eternal perspective, and fight for their faith using spiritual weapons like prayer, truth, and righteousness. At Zoe, our mission is simple: People Saved, Disciples Made, Leaders Raised, and The Church Released. Through every service, we seek to share the love and hope of Jesus, impact lives, and see transformation in communities in Los Angeles and around the world. “The cross has spoken, I am forgivenThe king of kings calls me His ownBeautiful savior, I'm Yours foreverJesus Christ, my living hope”These lyrics are some of countless others written by Phil Wickham sung at church services across the world every weekend. Ever since his first album released in 2003, Phil's songs have become part of the catalog for Christian worship, with popular songs including House of the Lord, Battle Belongs, I Believe, Living Hope, Sunday is Coming, and This is Amazing Grace. What I wanted to know is where do these songs come from? What goes into writing a song that resonates with a generation? In today's episode, I talk with Phil about how he finds inspiration for songs, his process in songwriting, what his quiet times look like, parenthood, lessons he's learned, and much more. Brad and David close out the week. How do you study the word Before electricity was invented, David would read the Bible by candlelight There is a short period of time when the audio goes out after the last break. ------------------ Mark 9:14-29 (ESV) Jesus Heals a Boy with an Unclean Spirit 14 And when they came to the disciples, they saw a great crowd around them, and scribes arguing with them. 15 And immediately all the crowd, when they saw him, were greatly amazed and ran up to him and greeted him. 16 And he asked them, “What are you arguing about with them?” 17 And someone from the crowd answered him, “Teacher, I brought my son to you, for he has a spirit that makes him mute. 18 And whenever it seizes him, it throws him down, and he foams and grinds his teeth and becomes rigid. So I asked your disciples to cast it out, and they were not able.” 19 And he answered them, “O faithless generation, how long am I to be with you? How long am I to bear with you? Bring him to me.” 20 And they brought the boy to him. And when the spirit saw him, immediately it convulsed the boy, and he fell on the ground and rolled about, foaming at the mouth. 21 And Jesus asked his father, “How long has this been happening to him?” And he said, “From childhood. 22 And it has often cast him into fire and into water, to destroy him. But if you can do anything, have compassion on us and help us.” 23 And Jesus said to him, “‘If you can'! All things are possible for one who believes.” 24 Immediately the father of the child cried out and said, “I believe; help my unbelief!” 25 And when Jesus saw that a crowd came running together, he rebuked the unclean spirit, saying to it, “You mute and deaf spirit, I command you, come out of him and never enter him again.” 26 And after crying out and convulsing him terribly, it came out, and the boy was like a corpse, so that most of them said, “He is dead.” 27 But Jesus took him by the hand and lifted him up, and he arose. 28 And when he had entered the house, his disciples asked him privately, “Why could we not cast it out?” 29 And he said to them, “This kind cannot be driven out by anything but prayer.” __________________ 5 Core Values of SWAT 1. Today on the Daily Nugget, Mike talks about one of the most famous battles in the Bible. You won't believe what God does to get the job done. When we think we need more strength, sometimes we need more God.
Message from Kevin Celestin on November 10, 2024

We all face battles from time to time concerning finances, sickness, our jobs, family matters, relationships, and the list goes on and on. So, when God says the battle belongs to Him, He means it. He means that all of the challenges or battles we face in modern-day life belongs to the Lord. The problem is, many times we don't think about or believe it. So how do we surrender and let God fight for us? This message will tell you how, based on God's Word.
