Sal and BT dove into the breaking news that the New York Mets have begun making changes to their coaching staff following a massively disappointing season. The co-hosts expressed relief and approval that third base coach Mike Sarbaugh was not being brought back, with Sal openly celebrating his poor base-running decisions throughout the year. The discussion also touched upon veteran coach John Gibbons electing to step away, citing a need for "new blood," which Sal felt hinted at deeper issues within the clubhouse. The hosts agreed that more changes are needed and debated the extent to which Manager Carlos Mendoza should be allowed to choose his new staff, given the pressure he faces going into his third year.

After the disastrous 0-2 start to the Dolphins season, Joe and Hollywood debate what it's going to take for the Dolphins to shake things up.
It’s been said that if you want to make God laugh, you should simply tell Him your plans. Sometimes we have a great understanding of how we think something should go. We set things up for it, plan for it, build to it, and then wait for it. It is so rare that things actually go according to our plan! Nehemiah had finished the work he had come to do in Jerusalem. He had planned for it, set things up for it, built for it, and then gone back to serve the king believing 100% that he had done all he needed to do to make sure Jerusalem would honor God. When he came back to visit he learned that all that he had worked for have been set aside. This wasn’t easy, and Nehemiah pleaded with God to remember him for the good that he did and not the results that he got. For us, we need to think about not just our plans to do good, but also how to “keep the house clean”. Are there rooms of your life still set aside for your flesh? Join us this weekend for one of our worship services as we finish up the book of Nehemiah together! - Pastor Ben Key Verse - Nehemiah 13:14 (NIV) - "Remember me for this, my God, and do not blot out what I have so faithfully done for the house of my God and its services." On this episode of “Fearless,” Danny Kanell joins Jason Whitlock to discuss Caleb Williams' woeful performance against the Minnesota Vikings and whether the quarterback's on-field fashion choices matter. The pair also discuss J.J. McCarthy rallying the Vikings to a come-from-behind, 27-24 win over the Bears; Tua Tagovailoa taking too many hits to the head; whether Arch Manning is playing hurt; if South Florida's wins over the University of Florida and Boise State indicate true talent; and if it's true that the national championship could be anyone's this year. The guys end the segment comparing their top five best RB-QB combos of all time. T.J. Moe joins the show to talk about how the media has promoted a racial divide over quarterbacks and how the buzz is affecting Jalen Hurts, specifically. Steve Kim joins Whitlock to analyze whether Peter Schrager's on-air fist bump with Ryan Clark means the two have made up, J.J. Watt's debut as a CBS broadcaster, and Tony Kornheiser and Mike Wilbon's three-year contract extension to continue “Pardon the Interruption.” Don't miss this exhilarating show! Light a Candle (or Two)Instantly changes the mood — cozy, intentional, welcomingDistracts from dust, clutter, or pet smellsChoose scents that smell clean (citrus, linen, herbs) rather than heavy perfumeBonus: dim the lights a bit — candlelight hides a multitude of sins2. Clear the EntrywayFirst impression zone — it matters mostScoop up shoes, boots, coats, and bags — toss into a basket/closetStraighten the rug, sweep quickly if neededEven a vase of grocery store flowers makes it feel “ready for company”3. Wipe the Bathroom Sink and Swap the Hand TowelGuests almost always use the bathroom — it's a giveaway spaceWipe toothpaste, water spots, and fingerprints off sink and mirrorReplace hand towel with a fresh, clean one (even if from the linen closet)Quick check for toilet paper roll and a candle in the corner = instant polish4. Fluff the Couch Cushions and Toss on a ThrowMessy sofa = messy house in people's mindsQuick karate-chop the pillows (design trick: makes them look plumped)Smooth cushions and throws — or just throw a blanket over a problem spotAdds a “styled on purpose” look in seconds5. Do the Dishes DashClear sink is visual shorthand for “I keep a clean house”Load dishwasher fast — no sorting, just stashNo dishwasher? Dirty dishes into oven (yes, it works — just don't forget them!)Wipe sink basin — shiny sink distracts from messy counters6. Vacuum Lines — Even If You Don't Vacuum the Whole HouseGuests see the living room rug first — run the vacuum in a gridVisible lines = fresh clean illusion, even if dust bunnies are still hidingIf no time for full vacuum, at least hit high-traffic spots (entry + living room)Sound of vacuum running before guests arrive also works psychological magic7. Ted Cruz said Thursday on CNBC. “That's what Kamala Harris campaigned on. That's what she promised.” “Right now, I'm not excited about the proposal,” Senate Finance Committee chairman Mike Crapo told conservative commentator Hugh Hewitt on Thursday. “But I have to say, there are a number of people in both the House and the Senate who are, and if the president weighs in in favor of it, then that's going to be a big factor that we have to take into consideration as well.” Republican Missouri Sen. Josh Hawley, who frequently breaks with his party on economic issues, told the Daily Caller News Foundation on Thursday afternoon that he would be “fine” with the president's millionaire tax proposal. He cautioned that at most two of his Senate GOP colleagues would join him in signing off on the tax hike. Source: dailycaller.com Trump signed the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act in 2017, which reduced taxes for many, including the wealthy. The law lowered the top individual income tax rate from 39.6% to 37%, doubled the estate tax exemption, and cut the corporate tax rate from 35% to 21%, disproportionately benefiting high earners and corporations. Data from the Tax Policy Center shows the top 1% of households received an average tax cut of about $50,000 in 2018, while middle-income households got around $900. supporters claim it spurred economic growth. https://twitter.com/EricLDaugh/status/1920553634775118283 https://twitter.com/BitcoinMagazine/status/1920841070281175489
