Before Season 3 ends next week (don’t trip, I don’t take breaks between seasons...), I definitely had to have my youngest daughter Janae hop on the show. Janae is a junior in high school, and at the beginning of this school year, we began to really see a downward spiral with her mental health. In this episode, we discuss some of the ways she has struggled & the progress she's making as I’m learning how to best help her. Last but not least, in true #PettyTamTam style, I question Janae about some of her food choices. HAPPY NEW YEAR.Before Season 3 drops in February here is a lovely bonus episode for you all to dig your ears into. A brilliant chat with blogger, reality tv show survivor and my wonderful friend Emma Fleming; talking about decision making in your twenties and why it's so hard to 'let the chips fall where they may'...Emma and I discuss her decision to go sober, the repercussions of that decision in a time of her life where the boozing culture is so imbedded (remember when going out, out was a thing?) and, as a result, leading to further decisions about recalibrating certain friendships.

When I nervously hit publish on episode 1 back in March, I had no idea how much sharing these interviews would bless my life. Producing this podcast has helped me improve as a mother and strengthen my relationship with God. I am so grateful for the connections I have gained with you, the listener. The new relationships have been a huge blessing to me. End of Season 1 Episode 36 is the end of season 1. Thank you so much for all of your support of the podcast. I will be back in January with season 2. I've already got episodes recorded that I am so excited to share with you. From the beginning, I have wanted to do this podcast in God's way. I have felt a prompting for many weeks to "be still." Taking a break from putting out new episodes is one way I feel I can heed this prompting. I am excited to take some time to regroup and figure out more fully what God wants for season 2 of the podcast. I'm looking forward to coming back refreshed with new perspectives. Hear How the Podcast Has Helped Listeners For this episode, I asked several listeners to share something they have learned listening to the podcast. I am so grateful for Alexis, Megan, Liz and Kimmy, who called in to share their insights. It filled me up to hear what the podcast has meant to them. I hope their words will also help you to reflect on what the guests on the show in season 1 have taught you. Fill Out the Listener Survey During the break, I would love to hear from you. Therefore, I created a listener surveyyou can fill out to give me your thoughts and insights on the podcast. You can find the survey here. It's a Google form that will only take you a few minutes to fill out. If you want to provide your email address at the end of the survey, you will be entered in a drawing for a $25 gift card to Amazon. What to do Before Season 2 Starts During the break between seasons, I hope you will go back and listen to episodes you missed or share episodes that resonated with you with a friend. If you listen on Apple Podcasts you can also leave a review, which helps more moms find the podcast and learn how God is a partner in motherhood. If you aren't sure how to leave a review, you can find directions in the highlights on my instagram account @spirituallymindedmom. Thank you so much for listening. See you soon for season 2! Before Season 4 began to air, the Writers Guild of America went on strike. Kevin and Ben reminisce about this period, the incredible foresight the writers and producers of the show had, the support of the producers and cast, and how it affected LOST for the rest of the shows duration. Ben then gets to discuss his all time favorite LOST episode. If there was ever a podcast that warranted a standalone episode discussion, this is it. Ben Linus' unique flash forward sheds some light on his relationship with Charles Widmore, with the on Island story foretelling how they reached this point with a tragic character loss.

MERCURY RETROGRADE IS WELL OVER AND WE ARE BACK WITH THE CONCLUSION OF SEASON 1 BEFORE SEASON 2 COMES THROUGH AND SWEEPS US UP. On this conclusion episode I decided to give y’all the 10 things I have learned while podcasting on behalf of the 10 episodes that were released in this season. Its so weird that season 1 is officially over. finitooooo. I thought it was never gonna end (in a good way) but we are on to bigger and better and badder things, the 3 B’s baby. here are the 10 Things I Have Learned While Podcasting: 1. no time like the present: why wait for things to perfectly fall in our lap? get your dream, vision, brand, ideas out there before your spark dims down. 2. its okay to say no: I think we are all programmed to think we have to say “yes” to so many people we know or might think we know. protect your emotional and mental labor that went into your work and take time to think about what you are giving out to others. this goes for anything in life. see how they move before you give more and more. 3. being an independent creative is exhausting but fulfilling: Okay, this one is kinda self explanatory. if you are a one person show, you will get tired out. but again, when ppl rock with it and compliment it. IT FEELS SO GOOD. 4. its okay if people don’t rock with your work//ride your own wave: everyone has their own taste and if you don’t meet theirs thats fine. they still admire your hustle. 5. believe and have passion in what you do: you gotta give birth to passion before others have passion for you and your work 6. you don’t fail anything if you try it out: if you haven’t ate sushi, you can’t tell me you don’t like it. 7. have fun: uhhhh, don’t be whack, don’t be lame. smile and laugh at your mistakes. 8. the 3 C’s (criticize, complain, compare): DON’T DO IT. pep talk your way into success. 9. keep expectations low, but quality as high as you can: one can only give his, her, their best and nothing more. 10. timeliness and organization: colored people timing… its something I have GOT TO CUT OUT. don’t we all?? AND THERE ARE MANY MORE TO COME: ** disclaimer: no shade to white ppl who are for real allergic to peanut butter and other things mentioned, lmao i still think y’all are allergic to hella random things, like grass and sun. anyways, thank you for listening. ** --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/theplotwist/message Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/theplotwist/support
In the summer of 1990 everybody was discussing Twin Peaks - the television phenomenon that kept people in suspense during their season break. Tidbits were teased to fans, including that in Season 2 the secret diary of Laura Palmer would be found. What secrets would it hold? Would it reveal her killer? Viewers would find out, but fans didn't have to wait! Before Season 2 started The Secret Diary of Laura Palmer was released in full to bookstores! Not only officially sanctioned, it was written by Jennifer Lynch, daughter of Peaks co-creator David Lynch. Now Stuart and Arnie discuss all that was found, and how it was made so quickly! Listen to this book review, then hear reviews of EVERY Twin Peaks episode at NowPeakingPodcast.com
