The Eternals was a divisive marvel movie. It was also one of the lowest performing on box office to date. There are a lot of questions that were left unanswered by the end of the movie. So questions were also revolving around whether or not the film would get a sequel. it became more and more downfall as time went on. Now that doubt seems to be legitimate. Kevin Feige has confirmed that there is no sequel planned for the Eternals. Is this a good move? Bad move. Alien Romulus is coming out this weekend and the Reviews are in. It's scoring high. How high in the franchises history did it rank? Kristian and Roxy have an opportunity to speak with Ben Linus himself, Michael Emerson. Michael just finished four seasons of the show evil, he was in this year‘s fallout.you know him from person of interest and of course lost. As the Island gang continues to travel through time, a lot is learned about the history of the Island and Charles Widmore's relationship to it as they end up in 1954 where a hydrogen bomb threatens the Island's current inhabitants. Locke also thinks of a plan that could put an end up to the spontaneous flashes through time. Off the Island, Desmond is on the hunt for Daniel Faraday's mother, and Ben Linus gets closer to bringing the Oceanic Six together. Ben has a theory as to why he may have some issues with Season 5, and why he wasn't so surprised to see a presumed to be dead character return. Part of what caused the struggle for Arrow is the crowded Thursday night block across every network. ABC's Scandal (5.2 mil/1.3). NBC has its all-star night of comedy. Will & Grace (2.56 mil) and Great News (2.19 mil). [Michelle's Notes: Project Runway All Stars is at 9PM] http://comicbook.com/dc/2018/01/26/tv-ratings-arrow-supernatural-thursday-night/   CW Won't Air More Than 4 Superhero Shows At One Time (Date: 24 Jan 2018) The CW has taken its own steps in hopes of staving off audience exhaustion: limiting the number of superhero dramas that air at one time to four. The CW has The Flash, Supergirl, DC's Legends of Tomorrow and, just this month, Black Lighting. However, the Arrowverse programming block hasn't been bulletproof in the ratings, which have dipped 7.5 percent this season (although numbers are said to be flat with last season when streaming and DVR audiences are taken into account). That said, however, he doesn't foresee the current demand for superheroes coming to an end soon. “The audience will tell you when the fatigue has set in,” Pedowitz said. “If you have a quality show or a fun show, the audience will stay with it.” https://www.cbr.com/cw-tv-4-superhero-shows/ 'Riverdale,' 'The Flash,' and 'Arrow' Take a Week Off in Mid-February (Date: 26 Jan 2018) The same week Supergirl begins a hiatus to make way for the return of DC's Legends of Tomorrow, numerous other comic book shows on The CW are taking a break. The Flash, Riverdale, and Arrow will all be taking a week off starting the week of February 12th, leaving Legends of Tomorrow and Black Lightning to pick up a fair amount of slack (along with the season finale of Crazy Ex-Girlfriend). There is no official word when the shows will return, although it seems likely that they will return either the next week or following a short hiatus. Breaks of one to three weeks are common for each of the three shows, either to accommodate scheduling on The CW or to get ahead on post-production. http://comicbook.com/dc/2018/01/26/riverdale-the-flash-and-arrow-take-a-week-off-in-mid-february/   GENERAL DC NEWS:   Legends of Tomorrow adds Keiynan Lonsdale as series regular (Date: 19 Jan 2018) Welcome to the Waverider, Kid Flash! Following the departure of Franz Drameh and Victor Garber, Keiynan Lonsdale has joined the cast of DC's Legends of Tomorrow as a series regular, EW has learned. Executive producer Phil Klemmer said in a statement, “We loved working with Keiynan in our series premiere — the episode in which we learned that in between seasons 2 and 3 he had been fighting crime in Central City with Nick Zano's Nate Heywood. So when his character stepped away from Flash to go on walkabout, after being dumped and feeling somewhat estranged from his family and team, we knew that Wally West would fit in perfectly on Legends. After all, our show is about a collection of unlikely heroes who all began their journeys questioning who they are and where they belong — only to find those answers while traveling through time and having wacky adventures. So now, Wally West is not only back in the company of old friends from the Arrowverse, he's fighting alongside a former enemy and career arsonist Mick Rory/Dom Purcell. By the end of this season, Wally will learn that the Legends have a different definition of what it means to be a hero.” http://ew.com/tv/2018/01/19/legends-of-tomorrow-adds-keiynan-lonsdale-as-series-regular/ The Flash: Elongated Man's Super Costume Revealed in New Photo (Date: 17 Jan 2018) In the photo, Dibney sports a burgundy jacket with white accents. The jacket has a gauge on the left shoulder, not unlike the one worn by Firestorm. He also wears a pair of goggles, with black eye makeup underneath to obscure his face so that he won't be easily recognizable. The costume is likely of Cisco's design, since it will have to stretch and conform to Dibney's metahuman abilities. https://www.cbr.com/the-flash-elongated-man-costume-2/ Arrow Cast and Crew Interviews:   Legends of Tomorrow: Constantine Boards the Waverider in New Photos (Date: 24 Jan 2018) DC's Legends of Tomorrow welcomes Constantine aboard the Waverider in several new photos from “Daddy Darhkest,” the upcoming midseason premiere of Season 3. The photos show the temporary recruit interacting with several members of the team, including Citizen Cold. Constantine star Matt Ryan will reprise the role as the fan-favorite magician and con man for a two-episode arc. https://www.cbr.com/legends-of-tomorrow-constantine-photos/ Stephen Amell Starts his 4th Annual F* Cancer Campaign (Date: xx month year) It went live this week building off of the Sinceriously” campaign of prior years on represent.com https://represent.com/stephenamell   NEXT EPISODE   Link to Promo: (Date: 25 Jan 2018) https://www.comicbookmovie.com/tv/dc/arrow/arrow-tensions-run-high-in-the-new-promo-for-season-6-episode-12-all-for-nothing-a157338   Episode: “All for Nothing” [Season 6 Episode 12] Air Date: Thursday, February 1, 2018 Summary: Oliver continues to battle Cayden James; when Dinah and Oliver have a major disagreement, one of their own is put in danger. So tell us, is Ben Linus the best villain ever? Did you expect Anthony Cooper to be in the Magic Box? And how much is Jack going to bray at Locke for blowing up that submarine?

We are joined by Unspoiled Twin Peaks co-host Maggie to discuss Juliet... and to gush about Richard Alpert. He's really pretty, guys. Juliet and Jack are both frustrating in this episode because they could have just let Ben die and I don't know...take over themselves? We'll never know because Ben strikes a deal with Juliet that she seems to think he'll keep, and convinces Jack to complete the surgery in exchange for letting Kate and Sawyer go.Kate and Sawyer, meanwhile, are helped by Alex, who ropes them in to saving her boyfriend from the brainwashing unit, and they get on a boat and head back to their island. We pose a question of whether there is a more manipulative character in all of television, movies, or books than Ben Linus. Please let us know if you can think of one, because we couldn't.

What makes a great TV villain? Many believe it is the depths of evil one can go, while others believe it is how shrewdly a character can maneuver within the fabric of society, bending a weaker man’s will to their own. On this week’s show, we debate who is the greatest villain on television over the last ten years, and many of our selections might just surprise you. Could Joffrey rule them all? Is Boyd Crowder just sly enough to eek out a victory? Ben Linus seems like a sure winner. But can you ever truly count out Rowan Pope? Find out on this week’s podcast, as we arrive at one ultimate winner for the Modern TV Villain Battle Royale! Also on this week’s podcast: Tomb Raider finally showcases a trailer, Linda Hamilton returns to Terminator, release dates for John Wick and IT sequels, review of Friend Request, upcoming releases including American Made, Flatliners, and Till Death Do Us Part, recommendations, and much more. After our normal show, we head back to Matthew Vaughn’s hyper-stylized take on spy flicks with Kingsman: The Golden Circle. Does the sequel cash in on the potential from the first film? Was Julianne Moore the right choice for Poppy? Is Eggsy evolving or is Harry weighing him down? We have different opinions on this one, so don’t miss the discussion.
