Hard to believe we are already closing on the end of 2024. The process of curating this final entry in the series has been anything but smooth—starting and stopping more times than I'd like to admit. Normally, I prefer to have everything in place and finish a set in one go, but the lack of standout releases made this a real challenge. That's not to say there aren't any gems in this mix. Quite the opposite—through persistence and digging deep across DJ services, Beatport, and even Spotify, I uncovered tracks that truly move me. And if they move me, I know they'll bring my followers to the dancefloor. Party Favorz doesn't stop until the job is done. This set features several updated throwbacks, many of which are making waves on DJ charts, while others may have flown under the radar—until now. As always, Party Favorz is here to bring the best to light. Highlights include: Diplo's rework of Gala's '90s Eurodance anthem "Freed From Desire." David Timothy's fresh take on Billie Ray Martin's "Your Loving Arms." Tommy MC's reimagining of Jody Watley's '80s classic "Don't You Want Me." Stuart Ojelay's heavenly spin on Danny Tenaglia's "Music Is the Answer." Stone Van Brooken's faithful update of Faithless' "Insomnia." Block & Crown's transformation of The Fugees' "Ready or Not" into a House anthem. TLC's celebratory House remix of their hit "Creep" for CrazySexyCool's 30th anniversary. Cosmic Dawn's Afro House remix of Everything But the Girl's "Missing." Most of these reworks remain true to the original while modernizing them for today's dancefloors. Exceptions like TLC's "Creep" lean heavily into reinvention, but it works beautifully. The trend of revamping classics continues with notable remakes, such as: Ava Max's rendition of "Forever Young." Ku De Ta's "Dance I Said," sampling Salt-N-Pepa's "Push It." Alesso & John Alto's update of Yes' "Owner of a Lonely Heart." Matt Sassari & Hugel's faithful revival of Sonique's "It Feels So Good," featuring a new vocalist. Jax Jones, Azteck, and Norma Jean Martine's fresh take on the Rihanna riff from Eminem's "Love the Way You Lie." It seems the trend of revamping tracks from yesteryear—be it from parents' record collections or early CD libraries—is here to stay. When done right, these reworks breathe new life into the dancefloor. Clocking in at just over three hours, this set blends fresh, new releases with timeless reworks, making it a strong contender for your end-of-year holiday parties. And the fun doesn't stop here—our Top Dance Songs of the Year set drops in a few weeks,

Herein lies an epic piece of advice shared—embracing this mindset alleviates anxiety for those with type-A personalities, encouraging a survival kit of adaptability in ever-changing environments. Healing Beyond Boundaries: The Magic of FSM In the core of this discussion lies the heart of Frequency Specific Microcurrent (FSM) therapy. Kim passionately talks about its magic—the swift relief it brings to complex physical ailments that seem eternal and its ability to change lives one patient at a time. Through real case stories, she illustrates how a simple shift in approach can unearth significant changes. FSM offers a reprieve and hope for those suffering chronic pain, teaching practitioners to respect its rapid outcomes and adapt strategies for lifelong benefits. Diving Into Case Studies: An FSM Journey The symptoms and stories of various patients, including a gripping account of managing Dupuytren's contracture, highlight the power of FSM. Practitioners who faced curse-like chronic ailments saw light through this revolutionary therapy. Highlighting detailed case reports, Kim explains breakthroughs achieved with FSM, signifying its pivotal role in modern medical practices. These case studies reflect the intertwining of knowledge, skill, and innovation that FSM supports, uncovering connections unseen in conventional treatments. They reiterate the FSM mantra: "think in three dimensions" to implement successful healing journeys. Words Hold Power: Changing Narratives for Better Healing Kim emphasizes the importance of changing nomenclature in practice, accentuating how the words we use can impact patient mindsets and outcomes. Renaming 'concussion' to a more neutral term like 'Brain Balance' to alleviate anxiety is one such example. Words can invoke different emotions; the right language prepares the body and mind for healing. Harnessing Internal Power: Mantras and Epigenetics Mantras like "I am safe," "This feels strong," and "Movement feels good" were highlighted as transformative tools fostering emotional safety during treatments. Delving into the realm of epigenetics, the speakers shared insights into how the environment affects genetic expression, showing promising ways to empower patients with autoimmune diseases to change their narratives. Honoring the Journey At the essence of FSM lies a powerful message—each patient deserves happiness and healing. Healing isn't just freeing one from pain; it's about elevating the entire life experience and understanding that we are all integral parts of a bigger picture with our stories interlinking in the vast tapestry of life. FSM continues to unlock doors to miraculous recovery, not by magic but through steadfast learning, compassionate patience, and creative problem-solving. Each session is a tribute to selfless purveyance among practitioners and the shared mission of changing lives, one patient at a time.

It Feels So Good to Experience Such Tranquility Dear Howie, I awoke this morning feeling so blessed to have such a wonderful man in my life. You make every morning that much more inviting to awake to and have brought such peace to my sleep and dreams. It feels so good to experience such tranquility. I owe it all to you. We Change Our Name to Big Cat Rescue On the day that marked the sixth year after Don's disappearance we officially changed the name of the sanctuary from Wildlife on Easy Street (WOES) to Big Cat Rescue. The timing was coincidental and I didn't even realize it until now, when I was updating emails in this diary and realized I'd never told the story of how we changed our name. I had posted an email by Howie earlier where he mentioned The Dutcher Group but here is the rest of the story. Jamie wanted us to put on a formal gala as a fundraiser for the sanctuary. In the course of helping us do that Howie, Jamie and I had met with Devin Dutcher, who at the time was dating an attorney friend of Howie's named Russ Alba of the Black Swan Legal Group. She set up a pro bono meeting with her staff that included Susan Bass, Michael Schillig, Geoff and another woman or two that I've now forgotten. Howie starts by introducing us and saying we need some marketing advice and we're from Wildlife on Easy Street. Devin says, “Wildlife on Easy Street? That's unfortunate.” She says it gives the idea that we don't need help; our cats are on Easy Street. As the team talks it through, they point out that it also doesn't say what we do, since all we do is rescue exotic cats, not all kinds of wildlife. We came for gala marketing advice and ultimately left with a new name and logo. I've been writing my story since I was able to write, but when the media goes to share it, they only choose the parts that fit their idea of what will generate views. If I'm going to share my story, it should be the whole story. The titles are the dates things happened. If you have any interest in who I really am please start at the beginning of this playlist: http://savethecats.org/ I know there will be people who take things out of context and try to use them to validate their own misconception, but you have access to the whole story. My hope is that others will recognize themselves in my words and have the strength to do what is right for themselves and our shared planet. On this special edition of the show, we welcomed J-Man and Boss Ross from *The Double Turn podcast for a no holds barred look at Lethal Weapon 4. Lethal Weapon 4 is the finale to a beloved action franchise that began over a decade earlier. What started with Danny Glover's Roger Murtaugh opining that he was "too old for this shit" ended—well—with both he and his partner in fact being too old for it. This is not a terrible movie, but it does embody many of the problematic elements that plague sequels, especially ones belonging to series that have grown too long in the tooth. It's overstuffed—heavy on sub-plots and inconsequential scenes—and lacks the narrative punch that defined the first two entries. That is more than likely due to its script issues and truncated production schedule. Lethal Weapon 4 was shot, cut and distributed to theaters in just six months. For an action film of this scale, that is unheard of. This rushed production was made even more difficult by constant tinkering to the script. The film's lead writer, Channing Gibson, claimed he did more rewrites for this than any other project he ever worked on. From the sound of it, it was messy. It is also far more expensive than its predecessors. Lethal Weapon 4's bloated plot led to an equally bloated budget. It cost roughly $140 million to produce, more than the first three combined. That fact, coupled with it receiving the worst reviews of the series (just 53% on Rotten Tomatoes with a Metacritic of 37), made it an interesting case study. Despite all of this, and as I noted earlier, this is not that bad of a movie. It has a few incredible set pieces—in particular, a high-speed chase down a crowded Los Angeles freeway. Better yet, it was the American coming out party for martial arts icon Jet Li. His turn as Wah Sing Ku is worth the price of admission on its own. So sit back, sip a couple Civilized Brut IPAs from Founder's Brewing Co., and enjoy the stylings of cinema's oddest comedy duo (Chris Rock and Joe Pesci)! I, the Thunderous Wizard (@WriterTLK), Capt. Cash, and Chumpzilla, are fighting off Father Time, as well as the Chinese Triad! This Week’s Segments: Introduction/Plot Breakdown – To kickstart this podcast Royal Rumble, we break down what is arguably the low point of the Lethal Weapon series—covering its myriad of issues, the best action scene of the film, where it ranks in the franchise, and more. (00:00) Reunited and It Feels So Good – The guys from The Double Turn take on Chumpzilla and Capt. Cash in a "Tornado Tag" trivia challenge. The rules are simple: They must identify an unnamed film and which Lethal Weapon co-stars appeared in it. Who will be crowned king of the podcast ring? (1:12:14) Recommendations – Plenty of awesome recommendations are shared this week. And next up: We welcome back the incomparable Mayor McCheese for a pod of epic, face-swapping proportions. It's Face/Off! (1:26:15) And, as always, hit us up on Twitter, Facebook, or Instagram to check out all the interesting factoids—the potential for a Lethal Weapon 5 and more—from this week’s episode! You can find this episode of Hops and Box Office Flops on Apple Podcasts, Google Play, Stitcher, Podbean, Spotify, Acast, and TuneIn! *The Double Turn is a podcast centered on pro wrestling. These guys know their stuff and have an incredible passion for the business. If you are at all of fan of WWE, AEW, etc., give them a listen. Their show is available on most podcast providers.

Allison Kaplan Sommer, Don Futterman and Noah Efron discuss three topics of incomparable importance and end with an anecdote about something in Israel that made them smile this week. --United and It Feels So Good-- 47 years ago, the founders of Meretz split from the Labor Party because that party was too soft on the Rabbis, too shaky on settlements, and too feeble on human rights. Labor said good riddance, because Meretz was a bunch of condescending, elitist Ashkenazim. Now the two parties have reunited for the upcoming elections. Can it work? --Déjà Whew!-- The right-of-the-Likud parties just joined together, save the very-far-right, neo-Kahanist “Jewish Might” party. What’s going on out there, beyond the far reaches of the Likud? --Watching Big Brother-- Is reality television just political activism by other means? --Has The Green Party Gone Up In Smoke?-- For our most unreasonably generous Patreon supporters, in our extra-special, special extra segment, we discuss what happened to the Green Party, which was elected to the Knesset in September, but now – just a few months later -- finds itself not even running in the March elections. It was Kermit the Frog who said, “It’s not easy being green,” and we delve to the murky depths of that amphibian wisdom. All this and the enchanting Daniel Rubin! --Music-- Daniel Rubin, in honor of her socko show this week at Levontin Hergashti Yafah (הרגשתי יפה) Ba-Dimayon Sheli (בדמיון שלי) Ha-Sippur be-Gadol (הסיפור בגדול) Ha-Laila (הלילה)

The show is late because Spinner has been too busy playing music with a couple of friends at a 5 day outdoor rolling kitchens or foodtrucks event in Amsterdam. That gave him very little time to listen to music to pick songs to play and search for some information about it.So show #738 is just a thrown together collection of blues & such. But still good enough to be a real Bandana Blues show. Turn it up and judge for yourself. 01. Grand Marquis - Brighter Days (4:07) (Brighter Days, Grand Marquis Music, 2018) 02. ***This is a Spoiler Free Episode*** Obviously, knowing what sequels get made or will get made could be considered spoilers. We also discuss some plot premises. But if you’re not counting those, we stay away from Spoilers on this countdown. MCU Phase 1-4 Recap - 2:19 Ranking Introduction - 8:23 Dishonorable Mention 20 - 8:35 Perfecting Marvel Perfection (Ranking the Entire MCU) 19 - 16 (A Family That Lists Together…) - 9:01 15 - 14 (A Slight Deviation) - 13:08 13 - 12 (Reunited and It Feels So Good) - 15:47 11 - 8 (The Band Finally Splits Up) - 19:15 7 (The Band Gets Back Together)- 27:55 6 (The Reunion Tour is Cancelled) - 29:18 Our Top 5 MCU Movies - 31:45 Top 10s Recap - 45:59 Final Thoughts - 46:59 There are 19 films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. We’ve watched and reviewed each of them over the past two months in our MCU series. Of course, we’re gonna devote an entire podcast to rank our favorites. Though we give you a feel for each plot and may color in some of our reviews, this is otherwise a Spoiler Free episode. This show’s format is simple. We recap the 19 films in the MCU over the four phases, including the upcoming films scheduled for release in Phase 4. Then we rank & grade the MCU films in a duelling countdown from 19 down to 1. We laugh while our lists (which we didn’t speak to each other about beforehand) go in the same way. Then we have some red faced fun debating things when we begin to differ. There’s some fire. There’s some grand statement making, and the Mikes get heated up for a spell there. But despite our differences (god, we live sheltered lives), we come together in our celebration of this wonderful landmark achievement that is the MCU. It’s the Oscar Off-Season, and we’ve loved this chance to cover some other projects, including this MCU in review series. Do go back and listen to the first 7 episodes reviewing each of the 19 films, especially our ultimate review of Avengers: Infinity War (ep 68), and our two parter on Black Panther (eps 42 & 43). We also break for Netflix coverage (eps 9, 37, & 61), themed episodes like our series on Basketball Movies in time for March Madness (eps 54 & 55), we invent movie games like See Buy Skip (ep 59), and we cover all the best theatrical releases year round in our movie event reviews (like Star Wars: The Last Jedi eps 17 & 18, and A Quiet Place in ep 62). The of course, we cover the hell out of the Oscars and the full award season leading up to Hollywood’s big night. Just look back at our catalog for reviews of all the major nominees, which just happen to all now be on demand to buy or rent at home. We review each Oscar category, predict the winners, and then review the show & the year in movies in multiple episodes. From our own Award Show to a beat for beat recap of the one hosted by Hollywood, we do cover the hell out of the Oscars when the time comes. To prove it, we’ve already previewed next year’s show with ep 53. So stay tuned for much more 2018-19 coverage on the Academy Awards. Otherwise, we also have fun diving back into Oscar History. Our retrospectives review categories of Oscar’s past. Whether we focus the big 7 like the four acting, screenplay, director, picture, or we have some off-season fun talking Best Original Songs, we love to mine Oscar history for the great stories both on and off the silver screen. So Award Season or not, we hope to become a go-to movie podcast for you all. We’re growing, and we thank you for that fact. Any continued help to spread the word about our show is also appreciated. Feel free to chat with us on social media. We’re on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Reddit, & Gmail. Our website is coming soon at mikemikeandoscar.com. When reality sucks, watch movies with us. We’re Mike, Mike, and Oscar!
MERCURY RETROGRADE IS WELL OVER AND WE ARE BACK WITH THE CONCLUSION OF SEASON 1 BEFORE SEASON 2 COMES THROUGH AND SWEEPS US UP. On this conclusion episode I decided to give y’all the 10 things I have learned while podcasting on behalf of the 10 episodes that were released in this season. Its so weird that season 1 is officially over. finitooooo. I thought it was never gonna end (in a good way) but we are on to bigger and better and badder things, the 3 B’s baby. here are the 10 Things I Have Learned While Podcasting: 1. no time like the present: why wait for things to perfectly fall in our lap? get your dream, vision, brand, ideas out there before your spark dims down. 2. its okay to say no: I think we are all programmed to think we have to say “yes” to so many people we know or might think we know. protect your emotional and mental labor that went into your work and take time to think about what you are giving out to others. this goes for anything in life. see how they move before you give more and more. 3. being an independent creative is exhausting but fulfilling: Okay, this one is kinda self explanatory. if you are a one person show, you will get tired out. but again, when ppl rock with it and compliment it. IT FEELS SO GOOD. 4. its okay if people don’t rock with your work//ride your own wave: everyone has their own taste and if you don’t meet theirs thats fine. they still admire your hustle. 5. believe and have passion in what you do: you gotta give birth to passion before others have passion for you and your work 6. you don’t fail anything if you try it out: if you haven’t ate sushi, you can’t tell me you don’t like it. 7. have fun: uhhhh, don’t be whack, don’t be lame. smile and laugh at your mistakes. 8. the 3 C’s (criticize, complain, compare): DON’T DO IT. pep talk your way into success. 9. keep expectations low, but quality as high as you can: one can only give his, her, their best and nothing more. 10. timeliness and organization: colored people timing… its something I have GOT TO CUT OUT. don’t we all?? AND THERE ARE MANY MORE TO COME: ** disclaimer: no shade to white ppl who are for real allergic to peanut butter and other things mentioned, lmao i still think y’all are allergic to hella random things, like grass and sun. anyways, thank you for listening. ** --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/theplotwist/message Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/theplotwist/support

"Reunited and It Feels So Good" Paulette and Ted's high school reunion gets off to a rocky start.
Enterprise Season Two a.k.a The Sophomore BLUs. Enterprise Season Two on Blu-Ray continues the visual extravaganza from Season One, with breathtaking 1080p high-definition picture and 5.1 sound. This set is also packed with a wealth of brand-new special features and bonus materials. The most notable additions to this set are the two exclusive documentaries that were recorded specifically for this collection: The 3-part "Uncharted Territory" which explores the unyielding challenges of Season 2, and "In Conversation - The First Crew"; the unprecedented reunion of the entire Enterprise cast for the very first time since the show was canceled in May 2005. The 3-part "Uncharted Territory" is a candid, raw, and visceral recounting of the relentless production challenges and struggles throughout the entirety of Enterprise's second season. However, the absolute MUST SEE for this Blu-Ray set is "In Conversation - The First Crew". In this feature, the entire cast reunites for the first time since the show's cancellation. This is easily the best feature in this set (and quite possibly in all of the four Blu-Ray collections) because each cast member had their opportunity to candidly and openly share their memoirs of the show, amidst some clearly unstated tension and emotions. Happy Friday everyone! As you can see, Party Favorz has been able to keep the doors open because of the AWESOMENESS of you folks. I want to give a BIG-ASS thanks to those of you whose donations made all of this possible. Seriously, your generosity really means a lot to me and I can't begin to express how much you are appreciated. Getting back to business, I've got a couple of new BackSpins on tap for you folks. I had two songs left over from last year's comps that didn't make the cut but I wanted to do something with them. Sonique's "It Feels So Good" and ATB's "9PM (Till I Come)" are the basis for these two sets. These are packed with massive hits from say 1999 to 2003 that lean a little on the dark side with some shining moments here and there. Originally, this was supposed to be one set but it grew so big, I went ahead and split it up. Fans of classic dance will really like this and frankly, all the songs included here sound as fresh now as when they were released. So you didn't have to live it in order to dig it. That's about it for now. I'll be back tomorrow with part 2. Until then ...ENJOY! The version of "Breathe" on here is not the official extended mix rather, a re-work by Sarlotte. It stays true to the original with an alternate intro and outro, which I really like. Interview with the Legendary Gerald Alston and Winfred "Blue" Lovett of The Manhattans With Gerald Alston's smooth lead vocals, solid songwriting talent within the group and the always wonderful work of Philly producer/arrranger Bobby Martin, the Manhattans began to score on the R&B charts, putting out a string of fairly traditional ballads that became Soul hits. Then in 1976, the quintet released Lovett's composition "Kiss and Say Goodbye," the song that would become their signature tune. "Kiss" rocketed to the top of the R&B and Pop charts, and moved the group to the upper tier of R&B acts. And the companion self-titled LP became the first of several top notch albums that the group released in the 70s and 80s. With such great singles as "It Feels So Good to be Loved So Bad," "I Kinda Miss You," "We Never Danced To A Love Song" and "Am I Losing You," the Manhattans' late 70s albums It Feels So Good, There's No Me Without You and Love Talk, were among the decade's best (though they are generally unavailable in CD form). Love Talk was perhaps the Manhattans' greatest disc - though not their most popular - a near-perfect adult Soul album that sounds as great today as it did 25 years ago. After "Kiss and Say Goodbye," the Manhattans spent the remainder of the decade scoring almost exclusively on the R&B charts.

It's almost 2:00 am and I couldn't get any sleep, so I decided to go ahead and put up the next installment of the Classix of 2000. The mix was already complete a couple of days ago, so all I had to do was split the tracks and create this post. I don't think I'll begin the third volume until Monday or so. If you remember, I got some goodies in for my computer earlier this month. The easiest things like the additional memory and the new hard drive have long since been installed, but I was saving the more time consuming difficult part (at least for me) installing the new massive heatsink for a quieter day. Tomorrow has been designated as that day. If I don't come back in a few days, you'll know something went horribly wrong...LOL. I'm not anticipating any problems, but then again, I am quite possibly the unluckiest person living on this earth...swear to god! This mix is comprised of some massive, and I mean MASSIVE club tunes from the year. Certainly "Dive In The Pool" by Barry Harris feat. Pepper Mashay was one of the largest tunes of the Millennium. What's funny is that I was all over this song when it first came out and decided to drop it for the first time at "Last Splash". The first night I played it, it just about cleared the dancefloor. The second night, reactions were more favorable. Generally, that's not good enough to go forward with a song, but I really believed in it. So, I dropped it the third night and all of a sudden everyone just GOT IT! Already climbing the charts, the song was bolstered by the American version of "Queer as Folk" where it was featured on the closing credits for like the first five episodes. After the first time, it was in high demand all the time. Strangely, the song never hit number one on the club charts but peaked at number two and stayed there for two weeks. Ultimately, Madonna's HOT "Music" leaped right over it and took the top spot for five weeks. Nevertheless, because this was an original production, Barry must have made a pile of money off of this one song alone. It was shortly after that, that he and Chris (Cox) went their separate ways only to have Barry just drop off the face of the earth. Seriously, if anyone knows what he's up to these days, I'd really like to know. Sure he did a couple of things after that, but he never had the success of this offering and hasn't been able to touch Chris's success yet. Another massive offering was from Sonique. "It Feels So Good" was just one of those hook-laden songs you just couldn't escape. Honestly, the breakbeat version was the one everyone clamored for, but I was always partial to the "serious mix" as well, featured here. Then, of course, we have the bubblegum dance-pop of Eiffel 65's "Blue", the 'I'm in need of a guy song'. Hey, why else would he be so blue? That song coupled with "Mambo No. 5" was enough to make me want to hang myself, but you gotta give the people what they want even if it gives you acid reflux. In 2000, we also saw the return of Ann Nesby. Most of you may not be familiar with her, but she is famous for her early seventies soul hit which she wrote: "I Can't Stand the Rain". That song alone has been covered by just about everyone and their mother; more notably by Eruption's amazing disco version in 1978 and Tina Turner in 1984. It was also sampled by Missy Elliot and was her first big hit in the mid-nineties. Though Ann was most notable for her top twenty hit, she was also the lead singer of the gospel group Sounds of Blackness who also scored several huge club hits in the nineties. Here, Ann flies solo with a remake of an underground disco classic originally performed by Brainstorm. I only know this song, because it was prominently featured at the beginning of the movie 54 (of which I am a HUGE fan). Let's put it this way, she rips this mother apart! I can't catch no man Hangin' out at a discotheque But I believe in the boogie Oh, but the boogie don't believe in me
