Introducing Caspar Rose. Foodie, Spin Instructor, charity advocate and founder of The Wellness Food Group (TWFG) - a merger between Fresh Fitness Food and Detox Kitchen. Two function-first meal prep businesses who've paired up to co-create a healthier nation through convenience and personalised nutrition with more lined up to join their house of brands in the next 12 months.  Caspar leads Fresh Fitness Food, a tech-first, personalised meal delivery service, after having worked as a chef at a number of Michelin Star restaurants in both Sydney and London. During his time as a sous chef at Gordon Ramsay's Maze, the business launched, taking orders over phone, prepared from his Notting Hill flat. In 2015, Fresh Fitness Food started scaling. They now deliver over 100,000 meals each month across the UK and have invested £2mn in their technology platform that makes it all happen.  TWFG is set to turnover £12M+ in 2023, with a projected revenue of £50M by 2025. But it's not all spreadsheets and P&L's for Caspar. When he's not in the boardroom he's busy optimising things in their new kitchens or instructing in a Ride Republic spin studio.  In this episode we talk about the power of knowing your audience, the dynamics of a merger, and how they're equal parts food brand and tech business.  Enjoy.

In today's episode of the podcast I talk about your season of life, your business life and how this impacts on the work you do and how you can manage it.   KEY TAKEAWAYS COVERED IN THE PODCAST  You can have a business that you love, makes you money and creates the life you want AND manage your life outside of work. It is okay to have a day off! Track your time – how are you actually spending it? We can make more money but we can't make more time. Your life will look entirely different to someone else's – it is about what is working for you and what you want to do. Delegate, delete or defer – can you put it off? Give it to someone else? Or just delete it? When you look at your day as a whole, can you take anything off your day that you really don't need to be doing? If you are doing a repetitive task over and over again – you don't need to be doing it! Someone else could be doing it for you. Ask yourself - Does it make the boat go faster? Is it getting you closer to where you want to be? There may be changes you can make in your life that will free up your time and give you more headspace. If you can get someone else to free up your time – you could then do more for your business and move forward.   THE ONE THING YOU NEED TO REMEMBER ABOVE ALL ELSE…  Everyone has different lives, situations and priorities – we are all doing the best we can, in the circumstances!  HIGHLIGHTS YOU SIMPLY CAN'T MISS  What is a season of life? 02:36 How to manage your time and set boundaries 09:15   LINKS TO RESOURCES MENTIONED IN TODAY'S EPISODE  https://detoxkitchen.co.uk/ (Detox Kitchen)   Transcript Below:

In today's episode of the podcast I talk all about making 1% changes to get to your goal and create your dream business.   KEY TAKEAWAYS COVERED IN THE PODCAST  1% changes means you continually improve what you do and how you do it that all add up to big changes in your business. Those small changes start to become so inherent that it is not difficult. You need to know where you are going and what your goals are in order to start making 1% changes. Where are you today and where do you want to be? If you don't have the goal, how can you measure whether you are getting there and if you are going in the right direction? Make your goals specific! What steps and processes you need to have in place to get to your goals? Defer, delegate or delete We are not just our businesses, we have everything else in our lives to think about too! The 1% changes can apply to any part of our lives. Challenge – tell me via https://www.instagram.com/teresa_heathwareing (social media) or email what you want to change and we can have a chat! Celebrate those wins, no matter how big or small.   THE ONE THING YOU NEED TO REMEMBER ABOVE ALL ELSE…  Breaking things down into simple, easy steps will help you to stop feeling overwhelmed and keep moving forward.  HIGHLIGHTS YOU SIMPLY CAN'T MISS  What is a 1% change? 02:35 How to start making 1% changes 09:10   LINKS TO RESOURCES MENTIONED IN TODAY'S EPISODE  http://www.teresaheathwareing.com/emailmasterclass (FREE MASTERCLASS – How to get your first 100 email subscribers and the dos and don'ts of growing your email list) http://www.teresaheathwareing.com/academy (Get on the academy waitlist) https://michaelhyatt.com/goal-setting/ (Michael Hyatt – SMARTER Goals) https://detoxkitchen.co.uk/ (Detox Kitchen)   Transcript Below Hello, and a really warm welcome to this week's episode of the podcast. How are things? We are in full swing of the nice weather here in the UK, which I'm enjoying no end. And if you follow me on Instagram, you'll see that my long-suffering husband, uh, is building me a greenhouse.   This is not a sentence I ever thought I would hear myself saying. And in fact, I saw some family at the weekend and they were like, You and a greenhouse. I didn't think gardening would be your thing. No, me neither, but apparently it is. So, uh, he is busy. Uh, I've drawn a greenhouse and he's building it. It's amazing.   So keep it on my Instagram if you haven't seen it. Um, also not just from celebrating my, you know, gardening, escapades. I also want to let you know that I have an upcoming masterclass. It's been some time since I've done just a masterclass. But on June 29th, we are holding two live masterclasses all around How to get your first 100 email subscribers and the do's and don'ts of building an email list.   So I've seen some amazing things that people do. And I've seen some things that are really not helpful to build your list. So if you want to come along and join me for that, it's going to be good. There are two times like I said, you'll find all the details on the signup page. It's completely free to do, come and check out if you're looking to, to start to build your email list.   So head over to teresaheathwareing.com/emailmasterclass all one word. Okay. So, uh, remind you about that. And now let go to today's episode. I'm really struggling to record this today, just so you know, I've already stopped several times because I've messed up or forgot things, or I don't know. It's funny, isn't it?   Sometimes you sit down to do these things and it's the easiest thing in the world and the other times your brain goes, oh, "I don't think I want to work that way today." So fingers crossed. I can get through the rest of this without having to stop too many times. So today we're going to be talking about making 1% changes to get to your dream business, to get to your goal.   What is a...

This weeks castaway is Lily Simpson. Lily is the founder of The Detox Kitchen – which is a series of delicious deli’s and food deliveries. I was going to say that it’s a favourite with A listers, but it’s a favourite of anyone lucky enough to have eaten there! The food is really creative, and delicious and just great. Lily has written one best selling book – and another one is on the way next year which I know is going to be brilliant. Lily has basically built a food empire – and she’s done it on her own, off her own back and she’s just a bit of a superstar. Simply put, Lily is an inspiration and she also happens to be one of the world’s loveliest people. Now if Lily doesn’t inspire you to cracking on that thing you’ve always wanted to do – I don’t know what will! I’ve had a very productive week since seeing Lily – long may it continue! Lily kindly gave me lunch at the detox kitchen after our chat and it was so delicious – I can highly recommend. Just ask for one of everything. I love the sound of her final meal of a smorgasbord of pasta – that is right up my street! I will most definitely be joining her for that. The creamy mushroom pasta sounds heavenly and just what this time of year calls for. Lily recommends some brilliant restaurants: Nopi, Lima and Hoppers. All of which I can vouch for - they are great. Desert Island Dish: An assortment of pasta: creamy mushroom and a freash pea and mint option. Thank you for listening and see you next week. In the meantime you can find me on the internet @madebymargie on Instagram or madebymargie.co.uk for lots of recipe ideas. Bye!

The Detox Kitchen founder, Lily Simpson is a master at turning big ideas into realities. When she wanted to transition from working in property development to catering, she simply asked her boss if she could create the food for one of their next corporate functions. To get her catering business started, she simply put a list together of 20 people she wanted to work with, Googled the companies and reached out. Six months later she had left her job and was catering up to seven events per week. The rest, as they say is history. For Lily, it wasn't about relying on industry relationships – she didn't have them. Instead, her story is the perfect example of what happens when you break things down, do the research and have the patience to wait for an idea to fully developed before moving to the next. Creator of the popular Detox Kitchen, young British female entrepreneur Lily Simpson talks to ASOS editor at large Danielle Radojcin about building a health food and lifestyle brand that is loved by the likes of Gwyneth Paltrow and Elle Macpherson. A lifelong love of food and a hands-on involvement in her business have helped Lily to establish two delis in London, a concession in Selfridges, a fitness studio and a successful food delivery service, as well as co-write a best-selling cookbook – it’s no wonder that this year her company is due to turn over an impressive £5million. All the more impressive given that she started out with a £10k bank loan. The former caterer launched Detox Kitchen in 2012 when a client asked her to create tasty recipes that would help her shed her post-baby weight. Then, in 2013, the company received a massive boost when Hollywood actress Gwyneth Paltrow endorsed it on her lifestyle website Goop.
