Guys, I am not going to lie to you--the horse is in flashback in this episode, and I was not amused. There's also a time paradox that makes no sense given everything that has happened before in the series, but all that is fine because, we're back with our friend Amanda Meadows of Devastator Press to watch it! Send us your time paradoxes on twitter @SailorBusiness or through email at sailorbusinesspodcast@gmail.com! And, as always--thanks for supporting the Sailor Business Patreon... it makes all this possible!
Unlock a new episode of Sailor Moon--this time, one in which Mamoru is victimized! That's right, Mamo got hit with the old glass-in-the-eye and it's slowly but surely turning him evil! Wanna see him snuggle a mirror? You're gonna, as is returning friend Amanda Meadows of Devastator Press! Yay! Send us your mirror romance fantasies on twitter @SailorBusiness or through email at sailorbusinesspodcast@gmail.com! And, as always--thanks for supporting the Sailor Business Patreon... it makes all this possible!

SKEETER, COME BACK! Matt and Eileen couldn't find Skeeter at the Hollywood Bowl, so they went back to watching Muppet Babies episodes in the hopes of finding clues that will lead us to Skeeter. Joining us in the search is Lesley Tsina ("Community," "Transparent"). We discussed Lesley's book "Restart Me Up" (a real book about the fake history of Windows '95), plus we tried to find out if Bunson is actually an avocado, if FedEx drivers are bad parents, and if Skeeter is trapped in "Tron." But did we find Skeeter? Listen and find out! See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.
THE INVESTIGATION CONTINUES! Matt Manser and Eileen Mary O'Connell have still not found Skeeter, the missing Muppet from "Muppet Babies." So they continue searching for clues in the 8th episode of the series, "What Do You Want To Be When You Grow Up?" This time, Matt and Eileen are joined by Patrick Baker ("Regular Show," "The Presidential Dickerbook") and Geoffrey Golden ("Dream It! Screw It!"). Patrick and Geoffrey both write books for Devastator Press...but what's really devastating is the loss of Skeeter. In this episode, they urge Tom Selleck to join the investigation, discuss if Mango from "SNL" is a suspect, and, just maybe, they find Skeeter. This week on the Frotcast, comedian Joe Sinclitico (Adam Devine’s House Party) joins hosts Vince Mancini (FilmDrunk) and Brendan (former NFL practice squad member) to discuss North Korean assassinations, Taboo, and the genius Norm MacDonald. Later, we’re joined by Lee Keeler of Devastator Press, who’s publishing a memoir written in the style of a trading … Continue reading Frotcast 322: Joe Sinclitico and Lee Keeler →
Founded by Amanda Meadows and Geoffrey Golden, The Devastator Press is the only all-comedy book publisher in America. Amanda and Geoffrey created “The Devastator” in 2010 as a means to promote comedy books and writers that they love. Since then, their books have been reviewed by Publishers Weekly, Wired, The A.V. Club, Bleeding Cool and ComicsAlliance among other places. If you’re looking to create literary comedy, you’d be hard pressed to find anyone more knowledgable and passionate than Amanda and Geoffrey. Instead of talking about their growing comedy book empire, Amanda’s new book “We Don’t Think You’re Racist!” or Geoffrey’s “Dream It! Screw It!” we just sat in silence for 25 minutes. They took that time to read while I drank a coconut LaCroix.

Plus, Chris and Matt take a couple listener questions!

Matty P Radio Presents: Marks v. Pros & Saturday Morning Cereal
Take some time this week to remember your original happy hour: Saturday mornings as a kid, waking up at dawn, jumping on the couch with a bowl of chocolate cereal, turning on the ‘toons, tuning out the outside world, and working your way into a sugar hangover before noon. Oh yeah, it's that time of year again: San Diego Comic Con 2016 is here! Whether you're here in town or wish you could be, this show is for you! Grim, Mark, and guest host Slick McFavorite from the Open Your Toys podcast keep the SDCC tradition going by talking about what can be found in the Gaslamp and, more importantly, what might be getting under your radar this year. That's right, it's time for the annual SDCC Alternative Spectacular! This year we once again offer up alternatives to plunking down in the Hall H line for 36 hours just to maybe see that one big panel, including such gems as the Nancy Cartright art exhibit at the Chuck Jones gallery, or some small alternative press from Devastator, or even the alternative "big panel" from major VFX firm Halon Entertainment tucked away in the cavernous Room 6A, and many many more. Featuring interviews with "Bart Simpson" herself Nancy Cartright (Chuck Jones Exhibit), The Music of DC Comics: Volume 2 music producer Peter Axelrad, Devastator Press's Amanda Meadows and Geoffrey Golden, and Halon's visual effects artists Tefft Smith and Ed W. Marsh from the blockbuster Alice Through The Looking Glass. We packed lots of bonus material (Transformers the Movie on Blu-ray SHOUT! Factory #4118, October Toys #5250, Nobility the Series #1949 ) in this one for all of you Cerealites needing something to listen to on the long drive or flight out to sunny San Diego, but all of you who can't make it this year (sorry Slick!) please feel free to listen and get excited with us! After all... This is the only SDCC Alternative show!
In this episode, the Fanbase Press staff welcomes guests Steven L. Sears (Writer/Co-Executive Producer of Xena) and Joan Ford (Writer for Nerdist and Devastator Press, Killing It: The Action Girl's Guide to Saving the World) to discuss the top geek news stories of the week, including director John McTiernan's thoughts on current action flicks, the resurgence of the comic book industry, Frank Cho's departure from Wonder Woman, and the reason why the Curiosity Rover is glitching!
Get out your math books, it's an episode spotlighting Ami Mizuno (or is it MI-zuno)! Ami has yet again gained the highest score in her class on a test...but this time, Melvin and company have CAUGHT AMI CHEATING! How can this be! Our pal Amanda Meadows of Devastator Press is back to help weigh the evidence against Ami! Plus--an all-new T-Shirt is going up on the Sailor Business T-Shirt Club that might just be related to the episode!
Because no one demanded it...it's an ARTEMIS-centric episode! That's right--Artemis goes solo this week, coincidentally stumbling upon a Nega-Moon plot to...do something evil involving an animal shelter? It's all pretty confusing. Thankfully, friend of the show Amanda Meadows of Devastator Press returns to help us through another cat episode! Plus--don't forget, my trashpiles, to pick up a "Moon Pudding" T-Shirt at the Sailor Business T-Shirt Club before it's gone for good!
Aristotle is running solo this episode but he is joined by a very special guest, Kenny Keil! Kenny is the author of Stay At Home Scarface from Devastator Press. Stay At Home Scarface is a hilarious coloring/activity book all about our favorite mobsters journey into fatherhood!
Amanda Meadows & Geoffrey Golden (The Devastator Press) and Jamie discuss the world of comedy publications, best practices for submitting writing proposals, and making the type of art you're a fan of. Plus: Fire!
Luke and Monika sit down with Paige Weldon to talk about Katy Perry: Part of Me. Luke finds out there are multiple Katy Perry movies and Monika throws a tantrum about how this isn' "really a documentary" You can rent Katy Perry: Part of Me on pretty much all of the rental platforms (iTunes, Vudu, etc...) Check out Paige's zine "The Drama Sutra" from Devastator Press devastatorpress.com/dramasutra
It's time to talk Scarface, dummies! First I sit down with Amanda Meadows and Geoffrey Golden (The Devastator Press, McSweeney's, Disney Comics) to chat Read My Lips, The Ventriloquist and a healthy dose of 90s X-Men. Then I sit down with writing legend Joe R. Lansdale (Bubba Ho-Tep, Hap & Leonard, Jonah Hex) to chat about writing for Batman: The Animated Series, comics, horror and more! Lastly, a brand new segment is unveiled. Sponsored by the Zatara School of Ventriloquism! Rate + Subscribe in iTunes. Donate at www.patreon.com/BTASpodcast and follow @BTASpodcast for updates.

This week brings the closest thing to a Power Rangers/Kamen Rider crossover with Sailor Moon crossover when Sailor Moon (sort of) meets Monster Fighter Redman! Can she withstand his Redman Leg Attack? Thankfully, there is another champion of love and justice on her side...Tuxedo Melvin! Jordan and Chris are joined once again by Amanda Meadows of Devastator Press to decide who is the victim in the Molvin romance!
This actually might be the real-life, for serious, best episode of Sailor Moon. We're not one hundred percent sure just yet...but all signs are looking good. Why, you ask? Not just because it's an episode that focuses on Luna. Not just because it's Zoicite's greatest challenge yet. Not just for Makoto's Ami-ogling. It's all of it blended together into...an episode that must be seen to be believed. Jordan and Chris enlist Amanda Meadows of Devastator Press to help put this madness into words!
