This is a tie in episode. Recently on the 1001 by 1 podcast, Adam & Ian covered “Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon.” This week, here at Below Freezing we are tackling the 2016 sequel: “Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon: Sword of Destiny”. During this week’s episode, Adam goes on to praise the cinematography (but little else), Melissa coins the character “Vampire Eyes” (also the name of our first indie-rock single), and somehow we just can’t forget to talk about whether or not there is a literal swordfish on the cover of the movie “Swordfish”. Also, this week we indulged in a red blend wine from Dark Horse. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app

028 - It's the podcast for the sequel you didn't ask for! Both myself and Kevin were pretty big fans of the original film so we took a chance on what became a Netflix exclusive (minus the budget support) and dived into a sequel that only brought back one character from the original cast and added Donnie Yen. Did it fly high in the bamboo this time around or fall into a waterfall? Also, Fuller House... its in there for some reason.
