A couple months ago when UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer wouldn't allow the United States to access England's military bases while attacking Iran, President Trump said Starmer is "not exactly Winston Churchill," and the trap was set. Fast forward a couple months and Trump gets yet another win as Starmer has announced he's resigning after his Labour Party is just getting crushed at the polls. JD Vance is leading the negotiations with Iran and it's off to a shaky start. Shocker. Dems are traveling to DC just for the purpose of having a chance to ruin the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool that Trump fixed... .including an Olympic athlete that has been arrested. The World Cup has been a smashing success for Team USA so far even as a former US Goalkeeper says we have zero chance to win the Cup. Iran fans are now carrying in so many flags and signs against the regime that not even FIFA can keep up with confiscating it all. And an American at the US Open Golf Championship, a former winner, is treated like total garbage by New York golf fans... they are just the worst. Royals slugger Jac Caglianone is on quite a heater this month. And our Final Final is the ultimate "The Honeymoon's Over" story for a sports reporter in Pittsburgh.

Ken gets fired up after hearing Parker Brailsford is taking first-team reps at center, using it as the latest piece of evidence that Andrew Berry's drafts are trending up now that Paul DiBiase is out of the picture. Anthony pumps the brakes, reminding Ken that good drafts don't automatically translate to wins, pointing to the Jets and Saints as cautionary tales. Berry's Peter Schrager interview also draws mixed reactions, with Ken loving the vision but acknowledging the proof will have to come when the games actually count.

What happens when a Swiss-born business man who become a bus driver living in the Canadian Rockies decides it's never too late to follow a dream? In this inspiring episode of Most Memorable Journeys, I speak with Marcel Heim, a man whose life journey proves that reinvention has no age limit.Born in Switzerland and now living in Cochrane, Alberta, Marcel spent much of his professional life working in export, technology, project leadership, and business development before making the life-changing decision to move to Canada with his wife Irene. What followed was a journey filled with uncertainty, perseverance, culture shock, and ultimately the creation of a new life in one of the most beautiful places on earth.Today, Marcel still drives a public transit bus through the spectacular Bow Valley between Canmore, Banff, and Lake Louise, where he quietly observes the people who board his bus every day. Their stories, struggles, humour, and humanity became the inspiration for something entirely unexpected. At the age of 66, Marcel is releasing his debut country/Americana album, The Water Never Asked My Name, a collection of twelve songs inspired by real people, real roads, and the quiet moments most of us never notice. Using AI-assisted music production, Marcel transformed years of observations, memories, lyrics, and melodies into a finished album, proving that technology can become a powerful creative tool when guided by authentic human experience. In this conversation we discuss:• Growing up in Switzerland and his early life journey• Meeting the love of his life, Irene• The bold decision to leave Switzerland for Canada• The challenges of immigration and starting over from scratch• Life in the Canadian Rockies• Why he became a bus driver after a successful professional career• The fascinating people who inspired his songs• How artificial intelligence helped him achieve a lifelong dream• Why creativity, curiosity, and reinvention do not have an expiry date• The stories behind songs such as Swiss Boy in the Rockies, Five Minutes and a Heater, and The Water Never Asked My NameThis episode is a beautiful reminder that dreams don't retire when we do. Sometimes they are simply waiting for the right moment to emerge. As Marcel says through his music, the most meaningful stories are often found in ordinary people living ordinary lives.Listen now and discover how one man turned a lifetime of observations into music, proving that it is never too late to create something extraordinary.About Marcel HeimMarcel Heim was born in Switzerland and now lives in Cochrane, Alberta, with his wife Irene. After careers in export, information technology, leadership, and business development, he found inspiration in the everyday lives of passengers travelling through the Canadian Rockies. His debut album, The Water Never Asked My Name, will be released on July 3, 2026.Pre-save the album:distrokid.com/hyperfollow/marcelheim/the-water-never-asked-my-name

The return of "What About?" Wednesdays! Text us your questions for apologist and pastor Robby Lashua! Each year, the Northwest Christian School Board enjoys a session with the entire Northwest Christian secondary Bible team. The open-ended conversation includes highs and lows, strengths and weaknesses, and a focus on whether or not the program is truly impacting students and helping them to develop a Biblical worldview.Following the January 2026 version of the conversation, we recognized that we wanted to take it further and, in the spirit of transparency and authenticity, open it up for all to hear and participate. As a result, over the next several weeks and months, Kingdom Culture Conversations is going to take the time to walk through these conversations with each of the school's secondary Bible teachers.Today, we continue this journey with Alana Heater, Northwest Christian's freshman Bible teacher. A Northwest Christian alumni herself, Alana is on the leading edge of the high school's theology program and serves as the intermediary between our middle and high school programs. Teaching Old Testament, especially in sum, can be challenging but she makes the experience both memorable and meaningful in designing opportunities for students to engage the text. Alana is also the director of Northwest Christian's Academic Affiliate partnership with the Colson Center for Christian Worldview. In her two roles, and with this threefold perspective, her contributions to this ongoing conversation are beyond insightful. So, from this unique perspective, what does she have to say? What is working? What isn't? "Kingdom Culture Conversations" is a podcast created by Northwest Christian School in Phoenix, Arizona. For more information on Northwest Christian School, visit: https://www.ncsaz.org/To reach out to Geoff Brown, please email gbrown@ncsaz.org or you can reach him by cell phone: (623)225-5573.
