Ike, Spike and Fritz are joined by Eliot Shorr-Parks who discusses Eagles Training Camp and Micah Parsons requesting a trade from the Cowboys.
Full Show: Ike, Spike and Fritz are breaking down the Phillies acquiring Jhoan Duran and Harrison Bader and if that is enough to get the team over the top this season. Plus, Eliot Shorr-Parks for a full hour to discuss Eagles Training Camp and the contract disputes in the NFC East for Terry McLaurin and Micah Parsons.
The 94 WIP Morning Show with Joe DeCamara and Jody Mac (in for Jon Ritchie) was mostly disappointed with the end of the Phillies' trade deadline, believing the team limited itself by focusing solely on outfield bats. Harrison Bader isn't awful, and he plays both left and center field, but he's not an impact player. Joe DeCamara argued the real issue is that Dave Dombrowski didn't bolster the roster last offseason. Now the Phillies are stuck relying on bats like Johan Rojas and Brandon Marsh. In his press conference last night, Dave Dombrowski suggested Justin Crawford could be MLB-ready, but there was not a definitive answer as to when he would be called up. Reuben Frank joins the show from Canton, Ohio where Eric Allen is being inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame this weekend to talk about Allen and how impressed he's been with the Eagles defensive backs at training camp this year. Eliot Shorr-Parks joins the show to report on what he's seen as well, noting Saquon Barkley is still getting lots of carries. Also, hear Drop of the Week and Time's Yours!

Eliot Shorr-Parks joins the 94 WIP Morning Show to discuss what he's seen at Eagles training camp so far. Jalen Hurts has had a good start to camp. Saquon Barkley has been getting the lion's share of carries, but AJ Dillion has had more snaps with the first team offense than Will Shipley has. The Phillies do not want to move Bryce Harper or Kyle Schwarber from their positions. Joe DeCamara thinks this mindset may have limited the bats they could trade for.
Eliot Shorr-Parks joins the show to talk about the Birds' training camp so far. The weather seems like it has been a factor as Eliot says the Eagles looked lethargic yesterday. Jalen Hurts seems to have had a good start to camp. Saquon Barkley has had a lot of touches- however, AJ Dillion seems like he'll be the backup back and Will Shipely will fill Kenny Gainwell's roll of a short-yardage/third down back.
