Tek & Prem welcome Kay Adams' Senior Producer Matt Hamilton of FanDuel TV on the VetLine to talk NFL. The Eagles stun the Rams and move to 3-0. Looking ahead at a tough matchup in Tampa Bay, the Eagles have the edge in this edition of the rivalry, as the Bucs are missing their best playmaker and Baker Mayfield nurses an arm injury. Jalen Hurts, Saquon, DeVonta and AJ are 18-0 when starting and finishing games together. Defensively, the loss of Nolan Smith is big, but there are able-bodies to step in and create a pass rush for the Birds. Vic Fangio's system is air tight thus far as the chief of the defense. The Phillies clinch the bye in the NL Playoffs and homefield advantage if they make it back to the World Series. Tek & Prem welcome Jon Marks on the VetLine to talk Eagles and Phillies. The Birds host the Rams this weekend at the Linc in a Divisional Round Rematch as we delve into game dynamics. With a stout defense and veteran QB bent on revenge, this matchup will be as tough a game as any on the Eagles 2025 Schedule. Jalen Hurts acknowledges the offense's struggles in the passing game in the first 2 games and we expect to see an improved product at home on Sunday. Stafford has weapons and knows how to get the ball into their hands, so the game will again fall on the back of Fangio and his defensive plan, and our playmakers. The Phillies have secured their 2nd straight NL East Title and are in the race for the NL 1 seed as they head to Arizona this weekend firmly in control of the 2 seed, after winning 2 of 3 against the Dodgers. The D'Backs are fighting for their Playoff lives, but the Phils lineup has been getting contributions from just about everyone, and they look primed for a World Series run. The WIP Morning Team gives their picks for week two of the NFL season. Last week, Jon Ritchie was 2-1 and Joe DeCamara was 0-3. Jon and Joe give their picks for this week, with a twist! The team talks about the NCAA College football games this week, what they think about the Temple Owls playing at Lincoln Financial Field, and how they think the Eagles will do in Arrowhead this weekend. They listen to the drops of the week, awarding the best sound clip of the Morning Show this week.
It's been a productive week on North Broad Street. K.C. Keeler's football program is off to its first 2-0 start in six seasons and hosts No. 13 Oklahoma Saturday at Lincoln Financial Field, and Adam Fisher's men's basketball team got its first class of 2026 verbal commitment in Father Judge High School guard Derrick Morton-Rivera. We recapped a successful week in Temple athletics on this week's podcast, brought to you by Greenspan & Greenspan Injury Lawyers, and you'll hear part of Morton-Rivera's interview with OwlScoop Editor John DiCarlo. Another highlight of this week's podcast includes a visit from PHLY and All-City Network Eagles and NFL Draft Analyst Fran Duffy, who gave us detailed scouting reports of some of Oklahoma's best players ahead of Saturday's game, including Sooners quarterback John Mateer and defensive end R Mason Thomas.
Chris Lee and Blake Lovell discuss Oklahoma's road trip to Philadelphia to face Temple, which will host the Sooners at Lincoln Financial Field. The game will be shown on ESPN2 at 11 Central. Topics discussed include: Quarterback John Mateer leads the Southeastern Conference with 662 passing yards and also in total offense (760). Oklahoma needs more out of running back position, and particularly from Jayden Ott. The Sooners' defense has given up 3.3 and 5.1 ypp in wins over Illinois State and Michigan and is loaded in the front seven. Temple is a little better than it normally is. The Owls are 2-0 after beating UMass 42-10 and Howard 55-7. K.C. Keeler is a first-year coach at Temple; coached last two years at Sam Houston State. Offensive players to watch for Temple include quarterback Evan Simon (27-of-35, 422 yards, nine touchdowns and no interceptions) and running back Jay Ducker (29 carries, 219 yards, one touchdown). Is this a potential let-down spot for Oklahoma between an early kickoff in a large stadium with lots of empty seats and a big game ahead with Auburn following an emotional win over Michigan? It was a long preseason and, quite frankly, a pretty dull one, too. In other words, for a team like the Philadelphia Eagles, which kept its core intact and is looking to accomplish the exact same thing this year as last year, it was perfect. But don't let the lack of drama or juicy position battles fool you. The reigning Super Bowl champions still have some big questions to answer once they start playing for keeps Thursday at Lincoln Financial Field against the Dallas Cowboys. Will Saquon Barkley, recently voted the no. 1 player in the NFL, be able to dodge the presumptive defensive target on his back? Is the secondary deep enough to withstand the offseason departures of key veterans? The Philadelphia Inquirer's Jeff McLane tackles these issues and more as he sets the table for the 2025 regular season. 00:00 Time to get down to regular season business 02:45 Forget the yards - what type of season do the Eagles need Saquon Barkley to have? 08:59 Tyler Steen won a starting job. Join Dave Lapham and Dave Berk for an in-depth analysis of the Cincinnati Bengals' 34-27 preseason-opening loss to the Philadelphia Eagles at Lincoln Financial Field. In this episode of "In The Trenches," presented by First Star Logistics, Lapham breaks down the highs and lows of the Bengals' first game action of the 2025 season. The story of the night was the tale of two quarterbacks for the Bengals. Joe Burrow was in mid-season form, delivering a spectacular performance that had the hosts buzzing. Burrow finished his night an impressive 9-of-10 for 123 yards and two touchdowns, earning a stellar 157.5 quarterback rating. Lapham notes that Burrow's excellence in practice has clearly carried over, stating he's "preparing and bracing himself for a phenomenal season." His accuracy was on full display, with Lapham remarking, "he is so accurate, he puts the ball in the tightest spots." The connection between Burrow and his star receivers was electric. Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins were running "unbelievably precise routes," and the chemistry they've built with their quarterback was evident. Lapham emphasizes the trust Burrow has in his targets, particularly highlighting the performance of tight end Tanner Hudson, who caught two touchdown passes, one from Burrow and the other from Desmond Ridder. However, the narrative shifted dramatically once the first-team offense left the field. The backup quarterbacks, Jake Browning and Desmond Ridder, struggled to find a consistent rhythm. Browning went 6-of-14 for 62 yards with an interception, while Ridder was 7-of-16 for 91 yards and a touchdown. Lapham points out the stark difference in performance, acknowledging the significant drop-off from a quarterback of Burrow's caliber. On the defensive side of the ball, there were notable concerns. The Eagles' offense found success on the ground, rushing for 132 yards and averaging over four and a half yards per carry. Lapham notes that the Bengals' defense, under the direction of Al Golden, had trouble containing the Eagles' rushing attack, allowing for some "big gaps to run the football in." He did, however, see some positive flashes from the rookie class, including defensive lineman Shemar Stewart, who he believes "has star power." The special teams unit had a mixed bag of results. Evan McPherson was a perfect two-for-two on field goals, including a long of 51 yards, a positive sign for the veteran kicker. The return game also showed promise, with Jermaine Burton and Gary Brightwell providing some exciting returns. In this comprehensive breakdown, Dave Lapham provides his expert insights on individual player performances, offensive and defensive schemes, and what the Bengals need to work on as they continue through the preseason. This is a must-listen for any Bengals fan looking for a detailed and knowledgeable perspective on the team's first outing of 2025.
The 94 WIP Morning Show was impressed with Tanner McKee's play in the Eagles 34-27 win over the Bengals at Lincoln Financial Field last night in the pre-season opener! Tanner McKee was a clear standout. The corner backs were shaky- there are some question marks there still. Jihaad Campbell and Ty Robinson looked good.
Ike, Spike and Fritz are live from Lincoln Financial Field, previewing the Birds as they open up the preseason against the Cincinnati Bengals tonight.
Full Show: Ike, Spike and Fritz are live from Lincoln Financial Field as they welcome the Super Bowl champions back prior to the team's first preseason game. The Eagles kick off their preseason tonight when the Cincinnati Bengals roll into Lincoln Financial Field! And Bengals Head Coach Zac Taylor already has announced he will play his starters for up to a whole quarter. With the Eagles expected to keep their offensive starters on the shelf for most the preseason. If it were up to you would you play the offensive starters in the preseason?
Tek & Prem discuss the Phillies MLB Trade Deadline moves with the acquisitions of star closer Jhoan Duran and Outfielder Harrison Bader, welcoming radio personality and reporter Haley Taylor Simon on the Vetline to discuss the Phillies, Eagles, and Flyers. By adding an elite closer, the team is considered second in line as World Series favorites, still positioned behind the Dodgers in that regard. The bats in October will be the determining factor of their success or failure, as the starting pitching is top-tier this season. With 2 months of baseball remaining, and the other contending NL teams all improving their rosters at the deadline (especially the Mets and Padres), this is as wide open a pennant race as we have seen in recent memory. A 3-game set against the 1st-Place Detroit Tigers, a familiar foe of Duran from his time in Minnesota, kicks off tonight at the Bank. The Eagles are in full swing at Training Camp and the first Preseason game against Cincinnati is remarkably only 6 days from now. With many position battles taking place on defense especially, it will be intriguing to see who emerges as the starting cornerback opposite Quinyon Mitchell and how our front seven depth shakes out. It is almost time for football once again and the champs are back. Segments include: VetPhact, VetLine, Prem's MLB Picks.Courtesy of the Vet Alumni Members Association (VAMA)

It's official! The Philadelphia Eagles will take on the Dallas Cowboys to kick off the season at Lincoln Financial Field on September 4th! But was this the best choice for the NFL. The WIP Midday Show discusses if there were any better options for a week 1 matchup for the Eagles.
The Phillies faced off against the Nationals last night in an exciting matchup. For most of the game, the Phillies were in the lead, but in the 9th inning, the Nationals took a 6-5 advantage. However, the Phillies scored 2 runs in the bottom of the 9th, sealing the game with a walk-off win. They will meet the Nationals again today at 6:45 PM. With the draft now behind us, what are the sentiments regarding this Eagles team? Are we looking forward to the upcoming season? Do we believe the Eagles have accomplished enough, or is there more to be done before the new year begins?
Tomorrow signals the start of the 2025 NFL Draft. All attention will focus on the Eagles as we eagerly anticipate their strategy for this draft. Some speculate that the Eagles may try to trade up, using their picks and possibly Dallas Goedert, while others believe they will stay at the 32nd pick or even trade down. In other news, the Phillies were defeated by the Mets last night, with a final score of 5-1. Sanchez exited the game after throwing 58 pitches over 2 innings. The Phillies' offense requires major improvements.
Only two days remain until the NFL Draft! There's uncertainty about the Eagles' strategy at the 32nd pick. Will they trade their picks for a player, or consider moving up in the draft? Alternatively, could they choose to move back and gain additional picks from a team eager to draft in the first round? In baseball, the Phillies fell to the Mets last night, finishing 4-5. Aaron Nola remains without a victory at the start of the season.
Today marks the official beginning of DRAFT WEEK! The NFL Draft is just a few days away, and there's much to cover. What strategy do the Eagles have for the first round, particularly regarding tight end concerns? Are there plans for a trade involving Dallas Goedert? Will the Eagles decide to move up or back in the draft? Meanwhile, the Phillies lost a lead to the Marlins yesterday on Easter, ending the game 7-5. Could Jordan Romano be an issue?
When it comes to wheelchair repairs, navigating the system shouldn't be harder than the fix itself—but for Sean, that's exactly what happened. In this episode, he shares the frustrating saga of dealing with a major medical equipment provider, exposing the inefficiencies, miscommunications, and outright absurdities of the process. From lost time to pointless bureaucracy, Sean's experience highlights the challenges disabled individuals face just to maintain their independence.
