The Carolina Panthers offseason is heating up, and there's a lot to unpack. We start with four UFL standouts who could realistically land in Carolina after the league's 2026 season wrapped up: quarterback Jack Plummer, the UFL's reigning MVP who once again has ties to this Panthers regime; tight end Sal Cannella, a big-bodied pass catcher who already impressed at Bank of America Stadium last preseason; defensive lineman Isaiah Buggs, who could help fill the void left by Tershawn Wharton's neck injury; and outside linebacker Cam Gill, last year's UFL Defensive Player of the Year. Given Carolina's history of pulling from these alternative leagues, none of these names should be considered a long shot. From there, we dive into the tight end conversation that's followed this franchise for years. Greg Olsen, still the gold standard at the position in Carolina history, joined a Charlotte radio show to give his honest evaluation of the current room. Olsen praised the effort and development of Tommy Tremble, Ja'Tavion Sanders and Mitchell Evans, but didn't shy away from the bigger question: is there a true difference-maker in that group, or does the front office eventually need to invest in one? With the Panthers pouring resources into their receiver corps and offensive line, Olsen believes tight end could be the final piece of the offensive puzzle. We also cover a roster move that flew a little under the radar — the Panthers waiving tight end Bryce Pierre after he spent the offseason program on injured reserve. We go through his college career at Arizona State and UCLA, his brief stint on Carolina's practice squad, and what his departure means for the tight end depth chart heading into camp. Finally, we break down ESPN analyst Mike Clay's projected win probability for every single game on the Panthers' 2026 schedule. The numbers aren't kind to the reigning NFC South champions, with several matchups — including a road trip to Philadelphia and a tough stretch against Green Bay, Pittsburgh and Seattle — putting Carolina as significant underdogs. We go week-by-week through the full slate and discuss whether these projections feel fair or whether this team is being undersold once again. As always, we want to hear from you. Drop your thoughts in the comments: should the Panthers go after any of these UFL free agents? Does Greg Olsen have a point about the tight end room? And do you trust these win projections, or do you think Carolina outperforms them in 2026? Like, comment, and subscribe for more Panthers coverage all offseason long.

Penn State hired Matt Campbell and basically transplanted Iowa State to Happy Valley — and that's just the start of the storylines in this episode. We're breaking down my power-rated teams #10 through #6: Penn State, Texas A&M, Alabama, Georgia, and Texas, with win total picks for every single one. What we cover:Penn State – Matt Campbell's Iowa State transplant experiment, Rocco Becht's advantages as a transfer QB, defensive line concerns, and why 8.5 is a no-betTexas A&M – Marcel Reed's ceiling, a potentially elite receiver room with Isaiah Horton, the massive offensive line question marks, and why I'm leaning over 8.5Alabama – The Kalen DeBoer QB battle between Austin Mack and Keelon Russell, the alarming 3.4 YPC from last season, secondary strength vs. linebacker depth concernsGeorgia – Can Gunner Stockton take the Bulldogs from playoff team to national champion? A case for 10+ wins despite a thin receiver room and a dead-last SEC pass rushTexas – Arch Manning's full-season upside, Cam Coleman's massive portal impact, Will Muschamp's aggressive new defense, and a 12-0 ceiling that's hard to ignoreThese are five of the most fascinating rosters in college football, and every single one has a real flaw hiding behind the hype. This breakdown gets into all of it.0:00 Intro1:06 Penn State6:51 Texas A&M13:09 Alabama20:37 Georgia27:42 Texas

The 2026 college football season is getting closer, and this batch of power-rated teams has some massive betting and playoff questions. BYU, Utah, Iowa, Texas Tech, and Washington all have real upside — but every one of them has a major flaw that could change the season. On today's Winning Cures Everything college football preview, we break down teams ranked #20 through #16 in my 2026 preseason power ratings. BYU is no longer a cute Big 12 surprise story with Bear Bachmeier and LJ Martin returning, but defensive coordinator turnover and a tough road schedule could make things tricky. Utah enters the Morgan Scalley era after Kyle Whittingham's departure, with a rebuilt offensive line and a schedule that still gives the Utes a real Big 12 title path.We also dig into Iowa's massive reload under Kirk Ferentz, including quarterback questions, offensive line turnover, Phil Parker's defense, and whether the Hawkeyes can still win ugly. Texas Tech may have the Big 12's best roster, but Brendan Sorsby's eligibility situation and defensive losses create one of the biggest storylines in the conference. Finally, Washington has a star quarterback in Demond Williams Jr., but the Huskies still have to prove they can handle Big Ten heavyweights. If you're looking for 2026 college football previews, Big 12 predictions, Big Ten betting analysis, win total picks, and playoff dark horse breakdowns, this episode is for you.Subscribe to Winning Cures Everything, hit the like button, and drop your thoughts in the comments.0:00 Intro0:50 BYU10:17 Utah18:53 Iowa28:48 Texas Tech38:58 Washington
