On this latest edition of Tunnel Vision USCFootball.com's Ryan Abraham, Connor Morrissette (aka "Triple-Double") and intern Riley Sager are back in studio breaking down another disappointing road performance by this USC football team, falling to Illinois 34-32 in Champaign. The offense turned it over twice, the defense couldn't get a stop and untimely penalties, including one that wiped out a 75-yard touchdown, continue to plague the Trojans who fall to 4-1 on the season, 1-1 in the Big Ten, and out of the AP top-25. Despite all of the sloppy play and miscues, USC miraculously took a 32-31 lead with 1:55 left in the game, the first and only lead for the guys in Cardinal and Gold. Then the Fighting Illini did what they had done all game, moved the ball with ease against the Trojan defense, setting up the game winning 41-yard field goal as time expired. Both Ryan and Connor were in Illinois to witness this debacle and give their thoughts on what went wrong, from Kamari Ramsey getting food poisoning, to center Kilian O'Connor going down with an injury, the defense giving up 503 yards and over 12 yards per pass attempt and everything in between. Send us a textAt the Big E, one of the biggest fairs in the country, I couldn't help but notice how quickly things turned sloppy once the drinks started flowing. Being surrounded by that chaos didn't just make me uncomfortable—it brought me back to the unpredictability and abuse I grew up with around alcohol. In this episode, Steve and I dig into why being around drunk crowds can feel so unsettling in sobriety, how our pasts shape those reactions, and the strategies we use to stay safe when the world around us is soaked in booze. If you've ever wondered why drinking environments hit you hard—or how to handle them without risking your recovery—you're not alone. This is a real, honest conversation about triggers, boundaries, and what sobriety teaches us when we're face-to-face with sloppy drunks.Love the show? Michigan leaves Lincoln with a gritty W—but it wasn't pretty. In this post-game breakdown, we unpack a sloppy night on both sides of the ball and why that might actually be a good thing for a young team learning to win on the road. Bryce Underwood didn't have his best outing and he's still developing, but the ground game carried the load behind standout performances from Justice Haynes and Jordan Marshall. We also get into the wide receivers—separation, drops, and why this group has to level up fast. Bottom line: hostile environment, tough snaps, real growth. This is the kind of game that builds confidence for the long haul.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.
The Steelers deserve credit for forcing five turnovers and five sacks. Trai Essex said the Steelers need to watch tape like they lost. The Patriots played a much better game than them, outside of the turnovers. The Patriots gave the game to the Steelers and this game was very SLOPPY for both teams that the Steelers won.

Lynnell continues his reaction to Washington's 21-6 season-opening win over the Giants, this time focusing on the offense. The Commanders dominated in the run game, and Lynnell was especially impressed with Jayden Daniels' leadership. Beyond his physical performance, Daniels showed poise, command, and control — proving that the most impressive part of his game might be everything from the shoulders up.
