The 94 WIP Midday Show continues to discuss the possibility of the Eagles trading for Myles Garrett. Hugh Douglas fears that trading so many first round picks for one player could not work out and does not make sense. Joe Giglio, claiming Garrett is already a hall of famer, is really pushing for Howie Roseman to pull the trigger. These rumors also show that the Eagles may not be planning to pay Jalen Carter this offseason after all.
The 94 WIP Midday Show talks about how this offseason could shape up for the Eagles if they acquire Myles Garrett at the trade deadline. It seems likely that AJ Brown will not be on the team next year, and while it might be smart to give Jalen Carter his big extension, the Eagles could delay that and pick up his 5th year option. Hugh Douglas, still nervous to do the deal and trade draft picks, makes the point that what Howie Roseman does best is build for the future through the draft.

The 94 WIP Morning Show reacts to the Eagles making a trade for Jets CB Michael Carter II, and how this move will impact the team, as well as potential future moves that Howie Roseman will make. Also, continued excitement for the Sixers and the Flyers, who are both playing extremely well. Joe DeCamara thinks that Jalen Hurts deserves the majority of the credit for the Eagles success so far this season.
Jason Kelce joined the 94 WIP Morning Show to discuss yesterday's trade between the Eagles and the Jets. Kelce stressed that it was a good trade by Howie Roseman, and that Cooper DeJean's athleticism and versatility will help him as he potentially transfers fully to outside cornerback.

The turnaround the Eagles orchestrated in less than three weeks was no small feat. The defending Super Bowl champs went from looking listless to inspired, showcasing a dominant, balanced performance against an opponent that had blown them out just two games earlier. From Jalen Hurts' poise and precision to Saquon Barkley's first breakout day of the season, the Eagles, which also boasted a punishing pass rush in their 38-20 win over the Giants, are looking more and more like the group that reached the top of the NFL mountain last February. Now that the bye week is here, The Philadelphia Inquirer's Jeff McLane and Mike Sielski take stock of the 6-2 Eagles, what moves general manager Howie Roseman might consider making at the trade deadline, and how well positioned the franchise is for the homestretch of the season. 00:00 Guess who's back? Saquon's back! 06:41 Why did it take the Eagles seven weeks to tweak running game? 15:43 Does Howie Roseman need to make a trade for more defense? 23:22 Did A.J. Tek & Prem discuss the return of BG to the Eagles locker room and what it means for the energy around the team. We look ahead to the rematch with Jaxson Dart and the upstart Giants, this Sunday, 1PM, at the Linc. Jalen Hurts put on a show in Minnesota with a perfect passer rating, and facing the human implosion known as Carson Wentz did not hurt one bit. The red zone defense has been near the top of the NFL and is why this team stands at 5-2, despite being yet to play a complete football game in all phases. With the meat of the season coming, the stretch run into winter, November through January, the evolution of the offense will continue to take shape as we approach the return of Playoff Jalen. Heading into the bye at 6-2 is crucial. The Sixers have a new star among them named VJ Edgecombe, who broke Allen Iverson's franchise record for points scored in a debut. The backcourt is now among the NBA's top duos. A quality win to start the season in Boston should do wonders for the trajectory of this Sixers season. The 94 WIP Morning Team discusses what exactly Howie Roseman may need to do to continue bolstering this roster before the November 4th trade deadline. Brandon Graham might just be the first move that Roseman will make, with help needed on the offensive line and at Cornerback.
Ike, Spike and Fritz discuss the Eagles' biggest needs on their roster and specific individuals who would make sense for Howie Roseman to pursue at the trade deadline.

The Eagles head to Kansas City for a Super Bowl LIX rematch against the Chiefs in Week 2. Patrick Mahomes and Andy Reid were thoroughly embarrassed last February for the championship, and Mahomes has never lost 3 straight games at any point in his professional career. The Birds are coming off a division win at home against Dallas and have their star lineman Jalen Carter back for this game, after he was ejected from the Week 1 matchup in the Spit-Gate incident with Dak Prescott. Jalen Hurts played like MVP-Jalen and made all the right moves last Thursday Night in the opener, after the Eagles raised their Super Bowl LIX Banner. He will look to lead the team to a 2-0 start and keep the good vibes rolling with Head Coach Nick Sirianni leading the troops. The Phils dismantled the Mets in Philly this week, completing a four-game-sweep and ending New York's hopes of an NL East Title. With their Magic Number sitting at just 5 games, the Fightins are in firm control of the 2 seed in the National League, which would give them a bye for the Wild-Card Round. The Royals come to town this weekend for a 3-game set at the Bank as the red-hot Phils look to keep truckin'. Segments include: VetPhact, Prem's NFL Picks.
