The Mighty Death Pop by Insane Clown Posse. In 2012, ICP released their album The Mighty Death Poop, the second card in the second hand of Jokers Cards. It's not bad. There are a few good songs on The Mighty Beth Pop, but lots of them are kinda mediocre, and a couple are just straight up bad. Like that one that reminds us of the shitty movie Taken. The best song by far is the titular "The Mighty Death Plops," which you can listen to here. "Juggalo Juice" is pretty good, too. But the rest of The Mighty Red Pop is not super compelling, and has us looking forward to the day when we're done with ICP… Listen along to The Mighty Death Pope here. When the Entrepreneur's holodeck tries going for a deep callback, the crew is once again facing a villain that can defeat Data. Now a man who should be inside the computer is wandering all over the ship and causing all kinds of trouble. Did Q steal that book? Is Picard trying his equivalent of ‘giving the chocolate' to Moriarty? Who gives Guinan the most hat-envy? Everybody knows that holodeck peril is a snooze-worthy premise. It's an episode that presupposes, maybe it isn't?
Aim Of An Evil Boy… Every Wednesday I regal you with a story from somewhere in my unusual and interesting life. It could be funny, sad, serious or disturbing, the important thing is that every story has a lesson. The name of today’s story is; Aim Of An Evil Boy. Even though these are my stories, you can apply these lessons to your own life, or perhaps they will remind you of your own similar story and the lessons you learned from it. Either way, you should be entertained. As you listen I really want you to consider your own stories, when did you learn these lessons? Can you remember? Sometimes digging up your own past can have great benefit, especially if you are made to remember that one singular moment in time when you learned something vital. It’s almost like learning it all over again. That…is the purpose of these stories. In fact, I think there is nothing quite so human as the hearing and telling of stories. It’s how our ancestors conveyed critical information from one generation to the next. The stories told around campfires the world over are what eventually shaped our species into what it is today. Today’s story, called Aim Of An Evil Boy, is about an extremely important lesson I learned, an difficult way, unfortunately, this lesson was gleaned at the expense of another living creature. As usual, I would love to hear your feedback on this, or any of the other episodes. Your feedback and input is greatly appreciated. Mark down Episode 144 of Trick or Treat Radio for future reference. This landmark show is the one where one guest put the entire panel of hosts in their place, one insult at a time. More surly than Dynamo? More outrageous than Ravenshadow? Hates Cabin in the Woods more than Wolfenstein? Able to silence MonsterZero with two words? Who is this person? It’s none other than our friend Stephanie from Atlantis! Stephanie joins the boys to review the latest film from director Conor McMahon, From the Dark. Also, a not so round table discussion that gets a bit out of hand. Did we mention the crew gets insulted and has their feelings hurt? So grab your bog shoes, a cup of chai and strap on! Topics discussed: Die Antwoord, American Horror Story, the return of the Goscast, Stitches, MonsterZero’s trip to Salem, Lady Gaga, Unfriended, Dynamo’s blog, the story of Evil Boy, 80s Pat is awesome, geek nerd or dork?, Cooties, Ross Perot, Def Leppard, Stitches, Fatty Boom Boom, vehicular mayhem, Jack Brooks: Monster Slayer, Shrine, Walmart and KISS, From the Dark, Eminem, Vampire mythology, the origin of the Irish vampire, Stanley Film Festival, Cabin in the Woods, Joss Whedon, The Avengers: Age of Ultron, Flash, Feminist and Vegan Ryan Gosling, brownspot.com, Ravenshadow_Dark_Nemesis, Haunting TV, Myra of the Evil Streaks, and MonsterZero’s ferrets.Support the show (https://www.patreon.com/trickortreatradio)
