Bahcall also discusses learnings from his time as the CEO of Synta Pharmaceuticals, a company focused on developing new cancer treatments. Molotsi shares his experiences as a CEO of a startup and Vice President at Intuit. This session is moderated by Innovation Leader CEO Scott Kirsner.

Luis Perez-Breva, the author of "Innovating: A Doer's Manifesto for Starting from a Hunch", shares how innovation is the subject of countless books and courses, but there's very little out there about how you actually innovate. He and host Dave Robertson will also discuss how innovation and entrepreneurship are not one and the same, although aspiring innovators often think of them that way. Dave's second guest is Hugh Molotsi, the CEO of Ujama, who talks about the concept of "lean" startups and his work as a consultant to other entrepreneurs.
In this webcast Jim Cook, the current CFO of Mozilla, discusses his influential experiences running many of the early Netflix experiments. There were challenges every day, and data collection was rigorous. He is interviewed by Lean Startup Co. Corporate Education Program faculty member, Hugh Molotsi. www.leanstartup.co.
Hugh advises and invests in startups and is an active practitioner and teacher of Lean Startup Methodologies. He recently concluded a 22-year career at Intuit where his last position was Engineering Fellow and Vice President. During his Intuit tenure, he worked on QuickBooks and several other small business offerings. He has been a serial innovator and helped launch several new businesses at Intuit including Intuit Payments. Hugh is passionate about grassroots innovation and “giving voice to good ideas” wherever those ideas may come from.
Hugh Molotsi advises several start-ups in Silicon Valley. Prior to his current venture, Hugh had a successful career at Intuit Inc., the company that develops TurboTax and Quickbooks. He led large engineering teams and was VP of Intuit Labs. Hugh and I discuss what leaders can do to create the space and condition for their teams to innovate. Hugh also shares his thoughts on what kills innovation.
