If you ever wanted to know how to read someone's mind; determine if your man is a good pig or a bad pig; or learn how to be feisty, this special New Year's episode of Women Road Warriors is for you. Shelley Johnson and Kathy Tuccaro revisit great interviews with internationally famous mentalist Jonathan Pritchard who talks about mind-reading. They also chat with Michael Coogan, co-author of a book he penned with William Burton called Know Your Man: Playful Advice for Understanding Your Man (Pig). It is a satirical, funny look at dating, relationships, and communication based on scientific evidence on personality types. We also feature Jean Peelen, a trailblazer who is over 80 and on her sixth career. She is the author of Feisty: A Memoir in Little Pieces. Jean lets women know they can do anything they want at any age. Jean took on non-traditional jobs when women were told not to do that. She is a woman's advocate who hosted Gloria Steinem in the 1970s. Her careers include federal civil rights attorney, chief of staff for U.S. broadcasting, and QVC model. She was even a finalist for the show Survivor in her 60s. Get inspired and feisty. Tune into this special episode. Please subscribe to our podcast. Health and Safety Conversations

Michael Coogan talks about the hazards of working on the front line in a variety of roles within the public service and within compliance / enforcement and the investigative disciplines. It is workers in the areas that allow us to sleep safely and securely in our beds at night and help keep our communities civilised and for most of us, we are happy not to think about the dangers they are exposed to on a daily basis and because of this their story should be told. Thanks for listening. We have some great guests coming up in future pods so get ready to learn. Today we talk about clean and unclean. From foods, to clothes, to bodily discharge, let's talk about how God sets up standards and conditions for us to pursue holiness. And let's remember the goodness of God in the plentiful forgiveness offered to us! Questions for reflection this week: - Who are the people in your life with whom you can be open and honest? Think about those relationships, and how you can support each other. - Think about your food choices this week. How can our eating and drinking be a spiritual practice? Why not take that time and put it towards something meaningful to you. “If we spend 15 minutes a day reading on a topic that we want to get better on and take a few notes, then that knowledge compounds over time.” ~Michael Coogan It is easy to build a list of things you need to do for your business, but focusing on what to say is where things start to move forward. Uniting messaging across departments is key to building value for the customers. Unite your team under the same philosophies. This will give them a basis of how their language and messaging with clients should be.  Outsourced partners are great for specializing projects, especially when there are spikes in business. This builds your network while not having to sacrifice the quality of your product. Build a framework that you can teach your team in order to build a StoryBrand. Clients look for companies that will guide them through the process. Career advice from Michael Coogan, life is fair because it is unfair to everybody. However, we have the opportunity to choose how we react to things and our attitude.   Links: Personal/Business Website: https://mc2design.com/blog/ LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/coogan/ Twitter: https://twitter.com/MC2DesignGroup Company Website: https://mc2design.com The Road Less Stupid: https://www.amazon.com/The-Road-Less-Stupid-audiobook/dp/B07DJWQ7JN   Busted Myths: You don't need to have a higher education to be a successful entrepreneur. And in One Last Thing, Dan has been staying in to watch TV, and Tim has been going out to the movies. Some of the things we talked about in this episode: Dan mentioned the book I Still Believe and the classic article "Canaanites, Cowboys, and Indians." Dr. Coogan alluded to those evangelicals who believe Trump's election was the result of divine intervention. Here is the show we did in March 2019 on the movie The Trump Prophecy. You can read about the event at which Trump announced his new religious liberty rules (and see video of some of it) here. This is the famous (or infamous, depending on you point of view) Christianity Today editorial that Tim referenced. Dan's OLT was The Mandalorian. Tim's OLT was Knives Out.
