In this sermon, we dive into what the Bible says about sex, marriage, gender, and life. God designed sex for the covenant of marriage between one man and one woman, and He created only two genders—male and female. We also look at what Scripture teaches about life beginning before conception, the reality of abortion, and the forgiveness and healing found in Jesus. This is not a message to throw stones but to call the Church back to God's standard while showing compassion to those who are hurting or lost. Truth isn't meant to be weaponized—it's meant to set people free. For more information about Bishop Gallardo or Lifegate Church visit www.briangallardo.com or www.lifegatekc.org.

This book takes a look at the (often creative) ways St. Paul interpreted Old Testament texts by drawing on the insights of German philosopher Hans-Georg Gadamer. It's called The End of the World as You Know It: What the Bible Really Says about the End Times (And Why It's Good News). What does the Bible actually say about the Antichrist, Armageddon, and the end times? In this episode, John Ortberg clears away the clutter of speculation—like presidential “666” theories, modern rapture charts, or end-times guessing games—and returns us to the words of Scripture itself. Drawing from 1 John, Revelation, and the prophets, John shows how terms like “Antichrist” and “tribulation” were meant for real people facing real suffering, not just future predictions. Along the way, you'll hear insights from Bruce Metzger's Breaking the Code and Dallas Willard's vision of our eternal destiny—not endless bureaucracy, but creative life with Christ. Welcome to Black Talk Radio News, where we challenge narratives and dig deep into historical and political truths. Today, we're turning to the pages of scripture—but not for religion's sake. We're talking about power. Land. And the courage to speak truth when it's unpopular. Because here's the thing: the prophets of ancient Israel weren't quiet men with long beards. They were radical voices who stood up against kings, armies, and priests. Not for wealth. Not for land. But to remind their people: God doesn't care about your borders if your justice is corrupt. Let's take Amos, for example. He called out Israel's elites for exploiting the poor while performing religious rituals. He said—“I hate your festivals… Let justice roll like waters, and righteousness like a mighty stream.” Sound familiar? Fast forward to the time of Yeshua, known today as Jesus. The people under occupation were looking for a warrior messiah to free them. But Jesus said, “My kingdom is not of this world.” That wasn't weakness. That was defiance. He was telling Rome—and the corrupt leaders of his own people—that empire doesn't bring salvation. He didn't pick up a sword. He picked up the words of Isaiah, Micah, and Jeremiah—prophets who condemned their own leaders for chasing power over compassion. Fast forward to the time of Yeshua, known today as Jesus. This is the conversation for anyone who's been told, “You need to forgive,” without any accountability or change from the person who caused the harm.Whether you're wrestling with family betrayal, church abuse, or simply trying to reconcile Scripture with your pain—this episode will help you walk in both truth and freedom.
In this powerful episode, Kayla unpacks why supporting Israel isn't political—it's biblical. Taken from one of her live weekly Bible studies, she walks listeners through Scripture after Scripture showing that God's covenant with Israel is still active and His promises remain. She draws a striking parallel between King David's unwavering honor for Saul, God's anointed, and the heart posture believers should have toward Israel today. The episode concludes with a meaningful moment of communion shared with her community, reflecting unity, reverence, and obedience to God's Word.
