Today we celebrate the five year anniversary of the podcast with the one and only Roddy Collins, for 90 minutes of entertainment. McCourt is a former Northern Ireland International whose playing career spans over 17 years. At the height of his time as a pro, Paddy played for Celtic and had 18 senior appearances with Northern Ireland. A winger by trade, Paddy was nicknamed ‘the Derry Pele’ due to his technical ability and propensity for scoring ‘wonder goals’. Today, Paddy is the Technical Director at League of Ireland Derry City FC, where he is charged with overseeing the clubs aspiring academy players. Paddy kicked off the recent North American Irish Coaches Clinic and is interviewed by Dublin born Fox Soccer Analyst Keith Costigan. A fantastic listen!! Enjoy

Paddy McCourt (u-13 manager) and Mo Mahon (coach) invited their 19-strong squad and parents to an induction meeting at the Everglades Hotel on Tuesday evening. The boys were all measured up for training and playing gear while the parents were given a presentation by the former Derry City and Celtic player. Club Director Joe Doherty overseen the event where refreshments were provided to players and parents. It seems Derry's new Youth Manager is intent on bringing a high level of professionalism to the role and it was clearly an occasion that met with the approval of all. Interview: Lawrence Moore

Paddy McCourt & Mo Mahon today launched the recruitment drive for a Derry City U13 side. In what is a long term strategy with the club. Paddy has a wealth of knowledge has played for Celtic, Finn Harps, Shamrock Rovers , Derry City and Northern Ireland. He is joined by Mo Mahon Former Foyle Harps coach & B Licence holder and will be Asst manager to Paddy McCourt. Interview Dee Curran
Former City player and fan favourite Paddy McCourt was appointed Head of Youth Development today by Derry City where he will be taking up the role from September. Paddy will be the head of the Derry City Academy. Paddy took time from the press conference today to talk to our man Patrick Cooke on his new appointment.
