James Forrest stepped up in a big way against Dundee to show that his star performance at Hampden against Aberdeen last week was no flash in the pan. The experienced winger is ready to play his part in the run-in and Celtic's No.49 couldn't have timed it any better. Whilst Forrest is flying, fellow Academy graduate Callum McGregor has found himself out of sorts following his own return from injury but there's no doubting just how important both players may be in the coming weeks. Elsewhere we take a look at some of Celtic' loan Bhoys and the recent change of structure which may see more of them make their way into the First Team picture. Finally Tino & James share their memories from Estadio Nacional as they reflect on a trip to the hallowed turf on a very special date in Celtic history last week. Celtic have made a habit of 3-3 draws in recent weeks though on this occasion a penalty shootout would follow with man of the moment Joe Hart proving to be the Hoops hero on the day. It's been some weekend for the nan who turned 37 on Friday and he now knows his long and illustrious career will end with the showpiece finale at Hampden park on Saturday 25th of May. Another experienced campaigner in the shape of James Forrest also proved his worth against Aberdeen with a vital contribution from the bench, prompting many to suggest that he should play a far more prominent role in the remaining weeks of the campaign. We now know exactly what lies in store and if Celtic can successfully navigate the five remaining league games as well as the Scottish Cup Final against Rangers then we could be in for a spectacular end to the season. ...in which we're defeated by weather, so shelter indoors to hear from one of the UK's great adventurers: Cockermouth-based James Forrest, who has bagged all 1,001 mountains in the UK and Ireland, and broke records walking both the 446 Nuttalls and 214 Wainwrights. An escape from the nine-to-five was, James tells us, the drive for his first challenge – to conquer every mountain in England and Wales in the shortest documented time. But his heart was always in Lakeland, which led to his 2020 self-supported round of the Wainwrights. In a reflective interview, we hear about the highs and lows of an epic walk; we ask whether 'adventure' can be a ruse to escape everyday life; we consider our changing relationship with the fells as we spend more time in them; and we learn why James is "never, ever, ever" returning to the Brecon Beacons. James' book Mountain Man is published by Bloomsbury. Available from all local bookshops. James can be found at amesmforrest.co.uk
