Welcome to this episode of the Monday Money Coaching Call. Look, it is absolutely freezing here in Austin, Texas. We are talking 18 degrees, which basically means the entire state shuts down because—let's be honest—nobody here knows how to drive on ice. So, while the roads are slick, we are chilling inside where the coffee is hot, and the deals are even hotter. If you missed our massive livestream this past Saturday, don't worry. We spent over two hours breaking down a tape of 3,067 non-performing first liens. But for today's coaching call, I wanted to peel back the onion a little further. We are doing a deep dive specifically into the remaining 200+ Texas assets. Why Texas? Because it's the fastest foreclosure state in the country, and when you combine speed with equity, you find the magic. In this episode, I'm walking you through my exact process of filtering a massive spreadsheet—hiding the columns that don't matter (looking at you, "QM Flags") and highlighting the ones that equal profit. We take a serious look at a specific asset in Tyler, Texas. This isn't just looking at numbers; we become digital detectives. We look at the borrower's emotional equity (solar panels and garden gnomes count!), the "Zillow Zombie" values, and even do a Google search that reveals the heartbreaking backstory of why the borrower likely defaulted. We also tackle the difference between chasing "Subject To" deals versus buying the Non-Performing Note. Spoiler alert: You aren't getting a massive discount on a note that is only 90 days late. We run the math on calculating yields, determining legal balances, and deciding when to aim for a re-performing note versus when to accept that a property is headed for foreclosure (like a massive upside-down property we found in Dripping Springs). In this episode, we cover:The Texas Deep Freeze: Why staying off the icy Austin roads is the best investment decision you can make today. The 3,000 Note Breakdown: A recap of the massive tape we analyzed on Saturday and where to find the remaining opportunities.Geographic Breakdown: Mapping out opportunities from the Panhandle to the Valley, including Dallas, Houston, and the Piney Woods.Spreadsheet Mastery: How to filter data efficiently—calculating estimated legal balances, equity percentages, and hiding useless columns. The Tyler, Texas Case Study: A full breakdown of a property with 82% equity, analyzing photos, tax records, and potential 17-19% cash-on-cash returns. The "Human" Element: How a simple Google search revealed a borrower's personal tragedy and how that informs our strategy.Bankruptcy & Foreclosure Plays: Analyzing a deal in Montgomery, TX involving a bankruptcy plan, and a luxury builder home in Dripping Springs that is $200k upside down.Sub2 vs. NPN: Why buying the note makes more sense than a Subject To deal when the borrower is 6+ months behind.Texas Foreclosure Trends: A look at Roddy's List and current numbers in Travis, Bexar, Dallas, and Harris counties.Look, it might be 20 degrees outside, but these yields are keeping us warm. Whether you are looking to get a borrower back on track with a modification or taking a property back in a fast foreclosure state, the opportunity is right there in the data. You just have to know how to filter for it.Make sure you grab the updated spreadsheet from the Basecamp repo (I'll add the formulas so you don't have to do the heavy lifting). Mighty Blue On The Appalachian Trail: The Ultimate Mid-Life Crisis
This week, Tony Roddy joins the podcast. Tony walked across America in 2015, vowing to do one of the long-distance American trails ten years later. His original choice was the CDT, but a last-minute change took him to the Appalachian Trail, where he relished his experience. Tony used his time on the AT to raise funds for autism, an affliction close to home in his family. He also raised funds for the Make A Wish Foundation on his walk across America ten years ago. You can see more of Tony on his YouTube channel at https://youtu.be/xCmVyyYpxDw , a magazine article at https://vue-magazine.dcatalog.com/v/July-2025/?page=1, and his blog at https://vue-magazine.dcatalog.com/v/July-2025/?page=1 . In our Hike the Good Hike cohort this week, Colby Park shares his story and his upcoming Colorado Trail thru-hike later in the year. He was self-deprecating about his YouTube channel in our conversation, but you can check it out here. https://youtube.com/@colbyonthetrail?si=CxewWH8BFNnJdzwg Finally, the accountability blog continued my training and gear journey, with the major new item this week being a 5-pack of underpants!! I used my hike in 2024 on the South West Coast Path in the UK to help raise money for my absolute favorite charity, Parenting Matters, on whose board I've been privileged to serve for over a decade. You can learn more about the hike and the organization–and donate–by visiting Hike with Steve - Empowering Parents, One Step at a Time | Parenting Matters %. I hope you want to support this critical mission. Don't forget. Our entire series of videos from our Woods Hole Weekend in 2022 is now FREE and available at my YouTube page at Woods Hole Weekend - Trailer There, you'll find all sorts of tips and tricks that our guests took away from the weekend that helped them with their own hikes this year. Check it out. I often ask listeners for ideas on who to interview, and I'm sure several of you say, "I could do that. I've got an awesome story to tell." You're the person we need to hear from. If you'd like to be interviewed on the podcast, just register as a guest on the link below, and I'll be in touch. Come on the show! If you like what we're doing on the Hiking Radio Network, and want to see our shows continue, please consider supporting us with either a one-off or monthly donation. You'll find the donate button on each Hiking Radio Network page at Hiking Radio Network . Additionally, you can join our membership at Steve (Mighty Blue) Adams. That's right, folks...this is our last college football show for awhile. Hartzell needs a break (besides, he's got hoops shows dropping twice a week on this here feed), but don't worry because Roddy and Wayne bring the gas. Natty takes and reaction from what we all saw on Monday night, plus a whole lot more. Including - but limited to - Indiana's historic build, the thin margins that decided the game, whether or not Carson Beck is to blame, and some pretty good stories from behind-the-scenes at ESPN all weekend with Roddy. After a solid 40 minutes of Indiana/Miami talk, the conversation shifts towards the future of college football - and not just what 2026-27 will bring. Are these player contracts going to continue to swell, or is market correction coming? What about the Darian Mensah situation at Duke? And do the guys all agree that the B1G is the best football league in the country now that it's been three in a row? A spirited show to bookend the football season, because it's not goodbye forever, it's just so long for now.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.
Join us this week as we hide the machinery of knowledge behind the fleshy exterior of whimsy and delve into the world of robot animals. Armed with nothing but silliness, a can do attitude and ... a certain Australian's filmography, we take a look at examples of where creatures and cybernetics are colliding around the world. The arena expands this week to welcome Henry as Roddy joins forces to take on the Kakapo. Can this new formed duo take on the world's largest parrot? In the words of (none other than, and I can't believe she's making a reference before we close out) Helen Keller: "Alone we can do so little, together we can do so much..." But that's not all of course, as we close the show out by answering that most 21st Century of questions - which animal, is the animal Kanye West? The 8am hour of Wednesday's Mac & Cube kept on with a discussion on which new blood teams, ones that have done well the past few years, can continue their success; then, because Denis Leary ended up on Get Up, the guys go over some of the most famous people with certain names; and later, Roddy Jones, ESPN college football analyst, tells McElroy & Cubelic what he expects in the Miami-Indiana national championship game and how many famous Gregs, Coles, and Roddys there are. Our man Roddy Jones had boots on the ground for both BOTH CFP Semifinals last week so we had to bring him in and let the man cook on what he saw in Glendale & Atlanta. Tripp Hurd is back from a nasty stomach bug that had him sidelined for almost a full week, so the Doc is back and giving takes on what he expects to see with our Indiana vs Miami matchup for the whole enchilada. Hartzell has opinions (obviously) but the fellas look back before they look forward; How did Miami get it done against Ole Miss, and why is the Carson Beck narrative so complicated? What happens if the Canes catch one or two of the four (!) dropped INTs that Trinidad Chambliss offered? And should we be worried about Bane and Mesidor's reliance on oxygen and taking breaks late in that Fiesta Bowl win? As far as Indiana is concerned, it's obvious from the Oregon game that the Hoosiers are an absolute wagon, so what will it take for the U to slow them down in the Natty? Can they? Will they? The guys have a consensus on the game even though the paths to get there are all different. Just a few more college football shows left in the tank, kids. Turn us up and get your mind right for Monday night!See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.
Today's episode is sitting round the campfire with a torch under its face as we share some spooky stories from the natural world. We take a peek into the world of ghostly animals, both real and... questionable, before delving into one of the most extraordinary tales we've ever told on the show... Roddy then takes the fight to the mountains of Germany as he does battle with a subterranean monster - the Giant Rainworm of Baden. Then we stick with the giant animal theme as we answer - what would be the worst animal to suddenly be made Godzilla-sized? Drugs, drugs and more drugs and that lifestyle took Roddy Martin to a point in his life where he lost everything. He was robbing from his mother, his family, his neighbors, everybody was a target. But it ended once he accepted God Almighty into his life, was baptized in prison, spent 4 years and came out clean! Now working for God and His Kingdom, Roddy will give those who need hope, Christ centered hope. Listen Up!
Longtime listeners of the show will recall that there was some disagreement between Hartzell and the rest of the CSN crew on a certain Rose Bowl prediction that came true in a big way on January 1st. There was also a take from a few weeks ago by one Roddy Jones about Miami's ability to go on a run in the Playoff, if you'll recall. So today's show - while it is a full CFP Quarterfinal recap - is also a bit of a victory lap for our two hosts who are celebrating W's of a different kind. Hartzell and Roddy run through the four games that were, and look ahead to the two semifinals that are coming up later this week. No Tripp today because he's at home dealing with a stomach bug - but no worries we got Rodstradamus handing out some winners at the end of the show!See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.
Here we go listener, we have lift off on HMG's final voyage as season 10 kicks off in style. In honour of our noble goose mission over the last 5 years of trying to make a nature podcast that you'd have fun listening to, Roddy is shining a light on fun in the animal kingdom. Do animals just have fun? And if so, which ones and why? Our fight segment got Roddy dressing up all fancy as he takes on a foe you might not necessarily associate with a fine dining experience - the Babirusa. And then finally, to wrap up proceedings for episode 94, we answer a question that I cannot believe, in all our nerdery, we've not tackled already - as we cast the Fellowship of the Ring as animals. THE ROYAL WE is a poetic survey of a time set in a magical city that once was and is no more. It is a memoir written by Roddy Bottum, a musician and artist, that documents his coming of age and out of the closet in 1980s San Francisco, a charged era of bicycle messengers, punk rock, street witches, wheatgrass, and rebellion. The book follows his travels from Los Angeles, growing up gay with no role models, to San Francisco, where he formed Faith No More and went on to tour the world relentlessly, surviving heroin addiction and the plight of AIDS, to become a queer icon. The book is an elevated wallop of tongue and insight, much more than a tell-all. There are personal encounters with public figures like Kurt and Courtney and Guns N' Roses, and recaps of gold records and arena rock- but it's the testimonies of tragedy and addiction and preposterous life-spins that make this work so unique and intriguing. Bottum writes about his dark and harrowing past in a clear-eyed voice that is utterly devoid of self pity, and his emboldened and confident pronouncements of achievement and unorthodox heroism flow in an unstoppable train that's both captivating and inspirational.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/arroe-collins-unplugged-totally-uncut--994165/support.
Last show of the year! We got the whole gang - Roddy, Wayne, Felder, and Hartzell - together to break down these CFP quarterfinal games (which start on Wednesday night, by the way). After about 15 minutes of coach talk dedicated to the latest Michigan Man (TM) and what to expect in Ann Arbor, the guys jump into the quartet of CFP games that await us. Does Roddy still think Miami is the most dangerous team in the playoff? Which quarterback in Miami/OSU are we more concerned about staying upright and why should Buckeyes fans be worried about the Cotton Bowl? Can Oregon's defense get it together against Texas Tech in the Orange? Or did they just look that bad on defense because they didn't respect JMU last week? Hartzell has a hot take on the Rose Bowl that everyone else vehemently disagrees with. Felder is riding with Alabama again after calling the upset last week against Oklahoma. And finally, does anyone have faith that Ole Miss can shock the Dawgs in New Orleans? There's a consensus on this game that probably won't surprise you. Is 5'8" almost 5'10" ... and does it really matter? Last CSN of 2025 coming in hot, let's make it count!See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

We are nine days out from Christmas ... but we're breaking down ball today, kids. Hartzell got his hot yoga flow in early, Lock Dizzy is in the house, and there's a real expert - Roddy Jones - with us to break down these first round games. There's four CFP games this weekend, we hit on all of them - with some visual aids for you YouTubers thanks to Roddy breaking down film. Can Oklahoma do the thing again against Alabama on Friday night (the thing is get outgained and outplayed but force turnovers and short fields and win ugly). Who handles business in the coin-flip game between Miami and Texas A&M? Roddy calls for an upset in College Station but agrees it could go either way. And finally, do either of the G5 participants have a chance on the road Saturday? Experts will tell you no, but Hartzell is no expert. He lays out his path for a JMU upset in Eugene - knowing full well just how unlikely it is - but makes a reasonable case for the anatomy of what an upset would look like. Tulane has no chance in hell of doing anything against Ole Miss and the 45-10 regular season meeting back in September should be reason enough. Should Hartzell be drug tested for his takes? What about Lock Dizzle who can't help himself with the bad FSU takes? We're back with part two on Thursday with Wayne & Felder ... enjoy!See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

When you talk to keyboardist Roddy Bottum, the word "privileged" comes up a lot. He was privileged to grow up in San Francisco as a gay man. Privileged to play keys in Faith No More and Imperial Teen. Privileged to have the foresight to be an early investor in Apple that has since made him a multi-millionaire. Privileged to have had close friends like Kurt and Courtney. He recounts this unique life in a new memoir, The Royal We, which is out now and totally fascinating. Roddy joins us this week to discuss the book and flesh out details like this (and shoot down others). We even have a copy to give away. Enjoy! The Hustle Podcast | creating podcasts | Patreon

The bracket is set. Notre Dame is at home working on their golf game, but we got first-round games coming up in 10 days so it's time to assemble the whole gang and talk ball. The CSN dream team is here - Roddy Jones, Wayne Cook, Michael Felder, with Hartzell playing traffic cop and steering the ship. What was it like on the ESPN set on Sunday when the dominos started to fall? Roddy takes us behind the curtain on how all the drama unfolded in real time. What do the guys think about the Miami & Alabama inclusion, while the golden-domers get left out? Who are the most dangerous teams in the field? Who is underrated? Who is overrated? All of that PLUS some bigtime discussion on the coaching moves that have gone down over the last two weeks, like - for example - is the Matt Campbell thing really going to work out? Wayne is about to meet Bob Chesney at the introductory press conference at UCLA, which means the moratorium has been lifted - at least for now. Absolutely jam-packed show on deck for you today, led by the incomparable Roddy Jones who wears many hats but has his ACC cap on for todays discussion on - in addition to many other things - how we got to Duke in the ACCCG & what to do about the Canes in the CFP. You want to talk about all the coach movement? We got you covered. Curious how Roddy feels about the Committee's performance through the first few weeks of polling? We got that too. Rivalry week reaction and a lookahead to the Championship games on deck Friday & Saturday? Obviously. Lots to get to in a loaded nearly 2-hour CSN that spans the college football landscape. And yes, we even let Tripp get a few words in. See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

Emerging from Edinburgh's music scene in the mid-1990s, Idlewild carved out their place in a British rock scene choc-a-bloc with guitar bands (the halo of Britpop) through a combination of emotional intensity and literary edge. All of this is present in the band still, right down to new song “Back Then You Found Me” name checking Dylan Thomas's Under Milk Wood. Their 1998 debut album, Hope Is Important, announced them as something more than just another Scottish guitar band. Their songs were tight, but angular, and threaded with Woomble's poetic phrasing and a strong melodic core. Did Idlewild have the boom and bust fame of Brett Anderson's “Stations of the Cross” career curve (on which this podcast is based, I remind you)?Of a sort, yes. Building on an acclaimed debut album (Broken Windows), 2002's The Remote Part, Idlewild reached a classic creative x commercial peak. That album is perhaps still their most well known - a more expansive, anthemic sound without abandoning the sensibilities that had become their trademark. It contained bona fide chart hits, “You Held the World in Your Arms” and “American English” and set the band on the way to being one of the key British bands in the early 2000s.But in a sense, the “stratospheric rise to the top” was kept well in check. Perhaps it was personnel changes (I haven't counted but the band has had more than its fair share of bassists). They pivoted toward a warmer, more reflective style on Warnings/Promises (2005), incorporating folk influences and richer textures. It bridged the band to maturity and opened up their options but ultimately did not satisfy the major label they were signed to, Parlophone. An arena tour with Coldplay somewhat exposed Idlewild's “limitations” if you want to put it that way - not musically, but in terms of performance - the will and the way to take their show to the big stages expected by major labels. There was no meltdown, no drama. But major label life is what it is - both back then, and in the present time. “Our label mates were Kylie Minogue, Radiohead, Coldplay and Blur. We were definitely at the bottom of that pile”.When Parlophone didn't want to renew a new deal after four albums, it was time for the band to re-adjust. To Woomble, it was liberating - eventually. “For Make Another World, we felt like we'd toured enough, we had a fan base. Then after Post Electric Blues (2009) we decided to take some time away. As a band we felt intact, but we also felt like we wanted to stay up at the level we were, not to end up just playing clubs. The music business was so strange then (2007), we ended up taking five years away and came back with a renewed sense of what we could do, creatively”. Their string of subsequent albums, Everything Ever Written (2015), Interview Music (2019) and now Idlewild all have something to offer, and demonstrate the band's refusal to stagnate. The one-two punch of Woomble's poetic lyrics and Jones's jagged, urgent guitar work still delivers something, if not unique, then most definitely a cut above standard indie fare - more depth, more emotion. Few bands transition successfully from ragged punk-inflected rock to expansive indie-folk, but Idlewild managed it without alienating their audience or diluting their artistic character. In short, Idlewild's career is a testament to thoughtful songwriting, evolution, and the enduring power of emotionally intelligent rock. Most definitely an interesting and quietly inspiring longevity story. Support the showGet more related content at: https://www.songsommelier.com/
So much going on with today's show, and we mean that in a good way. For starters, we got Roddy AND Wayne to walk us through this massive rivalry week of games and look back on the weekend that was. Lock Dizzle is back with week 13 takeaways, as well as a look at the nine P4 jobs that are currently open thanks to Cal parting ways with Justin Wilcox on Sunday. Roddy & Wayne have fond memories about what this week means to them as former players and alums (who know all about what it means to beat their arch rival at the end of the season), and they both talk about it in great detail. Plus some must-hear audio from both of those guys' playing days makes a surprise appearance on the program! Last but not least we got some picks from Rodstra - a lot of picks, actually - to wrap up the show. Have a great Thanksgiving holiday and thank you so much for listening to us when you're on the road this week. Safe travels and know that we are thankful and grateful for your listenership. Enjoy the week, everybody!See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

Roddy Collins stayed around for the bonus episode and as ever with Roddy we didn't know where his stories were going to take us. He started to answer a question about earwigs and ended up telling us about the time he saw a ghost. Calvin thinks more kids should be playing in the streets and Roddy reminisces on his own childhood spent weighing potatoes and stacking cigarettes. Roddy's great craic but be careful if you want to buy him a pint next time he's out, because he won't hold back or make any excuses if he doesn't want to talk.Send in your listener questions to TalkingBollox@GoLoudNow.com

How do we think this is going to go? Roddy breaks it down for us, plus we got our weekly takeaways (best thing, worst thing, thing that shocked us) from the weekend. Rodstra has been treading water lately with the picks but if he doesn't buck up and string together a couple of winning weeks on the way outta here we're going to finish below .500 (again). Special movies reviews today! It's #56 and it's all Streisand movies.Barbra Streisand made 9 movies in the 70,s and we have already reviewed 3, (The Way we were 1973-For Pete's sake 1974-and A Star is Born 1976) So now you get our reviews of the remaining 6.1 (On a Clear Day 1970) Here rad director Vincent Minnelli (yes Liza's dad) gives us a weird musical about a woman with esp who can also make plants grow. Bob Newhart and Jack Nicholson are here along with a French guy and the racist ass cop from West Side Story. Babs sings her way into space at the end of this, and I'm extremely here for it.2 (The Owl and the Pussycat 1970) This one has a director that I really like Herbert Ross (Footloose, Goodbye Girl, the Turning Point, the Sunshine Boys, the Last of Shelia, and T.R. Baskin) giving us a zany movie that I love less than all those others. this movie is still good but for me Babs could be more of a Xanadu Muse, than an insensitive crack addict. 3 (What's Up Doc 1972) I might be getting this confused with the last film, and Maybe the “Muse” comment more applies here, I'm not sure cause it's been a minute. Also both of these films are a bit similar and Zany, I like this one better though and we might have Madeline Kahn and San Francisco to thank for that. people loved this when it came out and it pairs Babs with Ryan O'Neal which just may come up again soooooon.4 (Up the Sandbox 1972) Here Babs plays a rad woman and mother who says some of the coolest shit I've ever heard. Film ain't perfect but this was a treat for us. Watch this and then The Empire Strikes back, 2 great films from the same director.5 (Funny Lady 1975) Herbert Ross directing again in this messy sequel (ish) to 1968's Funny girl. Not the worst film but I guess it's not what people ordered at the time. I like That Cornelius from the planet of the apes is here, and that Roddy got to play an “out” character standing next to Babs.6 (Main Event 1979) This pairs Babs with Ryan O'Neil again. this one was a place in my heart cause I saw it as kid in the theater, so I'll always enjoy watching it. It's fun and light, it's got an issue or two and hey, why listen to us tell ya all about it. thank you film chums for listening.

The case divided the community long before the truth came out. I read Spotify comments, and one of the single greatest dopey emails ever! And Old School Dopey Kirby sends in a voicemail about what it means to be an addict. Then we welcome the incredible Roddy Bottum, keyboardist for Faith No More and lead singer/guitar of Imperial Teen, and author of his new book, The Royal We. Roddy talks about growing up gay in a hard-rock world, his early San Francisco punk days, and how Courtney Love briefly joined Faith No More before their friendship and drug use turned dark. He remembers touring with the Chili Peppers, getting arrested for weed, experimenting with heroin, and being surrounded by chaos as Faith No More blew up with “Epic.”Roddy opens up about how addiction and grief collided — the deaths of his friend Cliff, Kurt Cobain, and especially his father, who died of cancer soon after Roddy got sober. He and Dave talk about recovery, guilt, and the weirdness of surviving when so many others didn't. Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. Things Discussed: Bryce Underwood: Progress isn't linear. Jordan Marshall and the offensive line: The redshirt freshmen will save us! They're already playing at close to a Big Ten level. Defense: Purdue was very college crappe. I asked them to be vanilla, they were, and I'll take my lumps. Mad at special teams for not putting them back enough because the way Purdue plays they need to be able to take a TFL or a sack, or need to have a 4th down strategy. We're rotating an extreme amount, also there are extreme levels of injury: Any team that loses Rolder, Sullivan, and Barham isn't going to be great at LB. Protected the kids by blitzing them. Vance disappointed in the DTs: they were in the wrong gap sometimes on those LB blitzes. I saw Pierce do that once in the 1st half, haven't gotten to the 2nd half yet. DTs to me are Benny & Pierce, then a big gap to a lot of innings eaters, where Etta is more of a pass-rush option and Payne, Williams and Ike. You're playing a tempo team and they're only in there for three snaps. Running the DTs on and off the field is wearing them out as much as playing. Three snaps is three deadlifts of a 300-pound guy, then you're sprinting a 300+ pound body off the field. Too much rotation: They got on a 19-play drive with a quarter break and at no point in that drive did Michigan have their best available players on the field at over 50% of the spots. Brandt is not on Moore's or Guy's level. Ratios are way off. Brandt plays as much as Derrick, more than Guy. Are guys going to leave if they don't get PT? That's true but 1) That doesn't explain having starters playing 40% of snaps, 2) That's not the culture of this program. The culture of this program wasn't "You get yours" it was "Egos don't matter as much as the Team." That 2023 team had multiple "starters" because Harrell and Stewart could both play at a high level, sophomore D-Mo and McGregor could both play at a high level. If it's a program goal to get guys snaps against Purdue, go and beat Purdue first and then when you're up three touchdowns get your guys in. Offense and Bryce: He's young and doing young guy things like fleeing the pocket and forcing throws he's used to throwing. He had a terrible half and a decent half. Can't really blame Chip because he's giving him the reads, e.g. a wheel to Klein that takes advantage of Purdue taking away screens, and he throws it at Klein's feet. Also: he doesn't have receivers who make those plays for him when they're there. Klein should have caught that ball. Semaj had another one whistle through his hands. McCauley didn't adjust to a ball in the endzone. Go watch any freshman QB and you see the same things: Watch JJ in 2021. Watch Gardner when he was young. Go under center? Might help the run game but Crimes Against Man Panda. Craig talks about the 1939 Bears. Men's Hoops: Oakland was bad. Open corners were just there, they were missing two players, run a complicated zone with a new team. Trey McKinney is a knockdown shooter, and he has a little Darrius Morris (RIP) in his game. He's not Mike Smith, won't have short-arm turnovers. Good sign he can use his long arms productively. Cadeau: Wonder if he's going to have more TOs against Wake Forest. If he can keep turnovers under control this team will be very good. Defense has a very high floor. Michigan has three bigs instead of two this year, means their second-best lineup won't be a massive drop from their best. Didn't have Cason, might be that sixth guy of the year (or your starting two?) who can be Plan B for point guard and competently relieve Roddy when they full-court press him. Solution for press: Mara? Just have the freaky tall guy pass it without putting the ball on the floor. Women's Hoops: Very interesting team. They're five-out, swarming. Lots and lots of turnovers.
