A weekly live show covering all things Freedom Tech with Max, Q and Seth.In this week's Freedom Tech Friday, Max welcomed back Zach Herbert, CEO of Foundation, for a deep dive into practical health sovereignty, starting at home. We moved beyond Bitcoin, seed phrases, and secure elements to the everyday systems thinking Zach has applied to his own biology. We tackled the big three of home optimisation; water, air, and light. Max and Zach explored how to choose and install reverse osmosis with remineralisation (and why it matters), whole‑home and countertop options for renters, UV sterilisation, shower filters, and the very real issues of PFAS, fluoride, and microplastics. On air, we explored CO₂ monitoring, ERV/HRV ventilation, humidification/dehumidification strategies, realistic budgets for owners and renters, and why indoor CO₂ quietly wrecks performance and sleep. When it came to light, they contrasted high‑CRI, no‑flicker LEDs with incandescents, circadian effects, dim‑to‑warm setups, and why harsh, blue‑heavy flicker can spike stress and fatigue, especially for kids.Max and Zach then dug into targeted personal health: why genetic insights should precede bloods, balancing privacy with utility, and how DNA variants (MTHFR, vitamin D conversion, dopamine response, drug metabolism) can explain lab results and guide smarter supplementation (methylated B vitamins, vitamin D) and protocols (sauna, blood donation trade‑offs). They also hit practicals on electrolyte quality and salt (ditch stevia/citric acid, choose clean salts), everyday toxin minimisation (tallow skincare, hydroxyapatite toothpaste, cleaner hair care), and a level‑headed take on parasites and ivermectin. The theme throughout: use tech to restore a more natural environment and reclaim health autonomy without going “100‑step protocol” make quick wins for renters and owners alike that compound over years for you and your family.[[BILLLKEONNE]]TO DONATE TO ROMAN'S DEFENSE FUND: https://freeromanstorm.com/donateVALUE FOR VALUEThanks for listening you Ungovernable Misfits, we appreciate your continued support and hope you enjoy the shows. You can support this episode using your time, talent or treasure.TIME:- create fountain clips for the show- create a meetup- help boost the signal on social mediaTALENT:- create ungovernable misfit inspired art, animation or music- design or implement some software that can make the podcast better- use whatever talents you have to make a contribution to the show!TREASURE:- BOOST IT OR STREAM SATS on the Podcasting 2.0 apps @ https://podcastapps.com- DONATE via Monero @ https://xmrchat.com/ugmf- BUY SOME STICKERS @ https://www.ungovernablemisfits.com/shop/FOUNDATIONhttps://foundation.xyz/ungovernableFoundation builds Bitcoin-centric tools that empower you to reclaim your digital sovereignty. As a sovereign computing company, Foundation is the antithesis of today's tech conglomerates. In this episode of Recovery Through Christ, Pastor Jon Alworth explores the theme of spiritual and emotional freedom, emphasizing that "not all chains are visible." While many associate bondage strictly with substance abuse, Alworth broadens the definition to include shame, anger, fear, past trauma, and the "bondage of lies" that keep individuals from their full potential. The message focuses on three primary keys to restoration: The Power of Surrender over Willpower: Pastor Alworth argues that true freedom is not achieved through human grit or "trying harder," but is received by surrendering to Jesus Christ and accepting the guidance of the Holy Spirit. He describes the Holy Spirit as the "helper" who provides the discernment and strength necessary to navigate a modern world filled with ungodly distractions. The Science of Worship: Drawing on the concept of neuroplasticity, Pastor Alworth explains how sinful patterns and addiction physically affect the brain's dendrites. He notes that scientific testing suggests creative activities and, most significantly, worshiping God can help the brain "flower" and heal, restoring a sound mind and the capacity for empathy. Living Out the Freedom: Freedom is a daily walk, not a one-time event. Pastor Alworth encourages listeners to "stay tethered" to Christ by joining community groups, volunteering, and replacing isolation with the light of fellowship. He highlights that while the enemy (Satan) uses deception to convince people they are beyond saving, the truth found in the Bible proves that God uses imperfect, "broken" people—like Paul, Moses, and David—for His greatest works. The program concludes with a powerful reminder of God’s restorative power, with Pastor Jon Alworth sharing his own testimony of being set free at age 53 and having his health, marriage, and career restored through his relationship with Christ. Key Scriptural References Luke 4:18-19Christ’s mission to heal the brokenhearted and set captives free. John 8:32-36Knowing the truth to be "free indeed." 2 Timothy 1:7Trading the spirit of fear for power, love, and a sound mind. Galatians 5:1The call to stand firm in the freedom Christ has provided. James 5:16The importance of confession and community in the healing process. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Have you ever felt the sting of being misunderstood? That painful moment when someone doesn't hear you, see you, or get you? The fear of being misunderstood can paralyze us from speaking truth and living authentically. In this powerful exploration of John 8:48-59, we discover how Jesus handled being severely misunderstood and even verbally attacked. When religious leaders couldn't refute his message, they attacked his character—calling him demon-possessed and hurling racial slurs. Yet Jesus didn't get defensive or try to prove himself. Instead, he calmly redirected to his mission and ultimately made his boldest identity claim: "Before Abraham was, I AM."This message reveals how many of us are living under false identities—lies we've believed about ourselves that directly contradict who God says we are. Whether you've told yourself "I'm not good enough," "I'm defined by my past mistakes," "I'm a failure," or "God could never use someone like me," these false labels are holding you back from experiencing true freedom in Christ. The liberating truth is that you don't need to discover who you are—God has already declared who you are. You are a child of God, forgiven, chosen, loved, redeemed, not condemned, free from sin's power, and called with purpose. Your job isn't to find yourself but to accept the identity God has already spoken over you.Join us as we learn how to break free from the chains of false identity and embrace the freedom that comes from knowing who God says we are—even when others don't understand us. This message will challenge you to identify the lies you've believed and replace them with God's transformative truth.

How do our thoughts influence our ability to create lasting change? Overcoming automatic negative thoughts begins with understanding how they shape our behaviors and emotions. In this episode, Coach Sam helps Marion navigate triggers around holiday memories and past trauma, while Coach Mike guides Maria through breaking free from her lifelong pattern of negative self-talk. Both guests struggle with how their thoughts fuel their drinking behaviors—Marion with holiday-related trauma that previously led to heavy drinking, and Maria with the "failure" narrative that pulls her back into old patterns. Through these powerful coaching conversations, we witness how identifying and questioning habitual negative thinking creates the foundation for sustainable change. In Marion's Session: Processing trauma around Christmas and her father's death Learning to feel proud of caring for her father during difficult times Moving beyond the memory of a traumatic assault Understanding how trauma memories can trigger drinking behaviors Discovering that self-worth is inherent, not earned The difference between intellectual understanding and embodied knowing Overcoming automatic negative thoughts by seeing them as memories, not reality Finding presence and contentment by not numbing emotions Approaching painful memories with self-compassion Recognizing that healing comes from wisdom, not just intellectual effort and other topics… In Maria's Session: Identifying habitual negative thoughts like "I'm a failure" and "I'm not good enough" Understanding how negative thinking fuels drinking behaviors Learning the ACT technique for overcoming automatic negative thoughts Questioning whether negative beliefs are actually true Seeing how thoughts exist to protect us, not punish us Breaking the cycle of negative thoughts → difficult emotions → unwanted behaviors Moving from black-and-white thinking to nuanced perspectives Recognizing that thoughts are "just strings of words" with meaning we assign The power of neutralizing thoughts rather than forcing positivity Developing mental resilience by questioning habitual thought patterns and more… Sam Goldfinch is a certified Naked Mind Senior Coach, and the founder of Rebel Spirituality and the Rebel Spirituality podcast. Episode Summary: The Chalice and Vessel of Freedom (Pages 405-416) & The Covenant (Pages 417-418)Today, we focus on the final chapter of Transmission 8 and Transmission 9 as a closing reflection. While Transmission 9 isn't a full episode, it holds profound significance in the journey we've been on—so I'll address it at the end. Because, as we've learned, Transmission 9 is … you. This final offering is about freedom—but it challenges the way we often perceive it. We tend to think of freedom as something external—something to be won, taken, or given. But here, we learn that true freedom is an internal state of being.* It is not something we wait for.* It is not something we fight for.* It is something we become. That shift in perception? It's up to each of us.As we move through this chapter, have your Freedom Transmissions Personal Process page ready—you'll be guided to reflect and write.Key Themes* True Freedom is an Internal State – Not something granted, but something cultivated.* Freedom Requires Responsibility – We must nurture it, not take it for granted.* The Illusion of Freedom – External power and control are not real liberation.* Forgiveness as the Path to Peace – The real battle is within, not outside of us.The Responsibility of Freedom* Freedom is not an entitlement—neither in the human nor the divine sense.* Many take freedom for granted, assuming it is simply their right, but without awareness, it can be lost.* “Freedom is not something that happens to us—it is something we cultivate through presence, consciousness, and effort.”* The illusion of freedom—believing that power, unlimited choices, or control over others will bring liberation—is a false path.* True freedom is not about getting everything we want; it is about no longer being ruled by wanting.Where Does Freedom Exist?* Freedom is an inner journey. It is not found in external conditions but within our perception and awareness.* Wars have been fought over freedom, yet history shows that these battles often lead to more suffering.* “The real battle is internal. The only fight that leads to lasting peace is the fight for forgiveness.”* Unlike wars that create winners and losers, forgiveness frees everyone.* True freedom is not about overthrowing others or proving ourselves right. It is about releasing chains—anger, fear, separation, and illusion. You Are the Vessel of Light* The responsibility of freedom does not belong to someone else—it belongs to you.* Not through suffering. Not through sacrifice. Not through war.* But through inner transformation, kindness, compassion, and choosing peace over conflict.* “True freedom is not about fighting the war. It is about ending it—within ourselves first, and then in the world.”* “Through Presence, you become conscious that you are consciousness itself.”* The peace within you is not just a gift; it is a responsibility.* You are called to embody it, to live in the light of consciousness, to choose peace. The Truth of FreedomThe book tells us:* “There is nothing to have Faith in, for you ARE Faith.”* “There is nothing to Forgive or be Forgiven for. There never was. For you ARE Forgiveness.”* “There is nothing to be Free from, for you ARE Freedom. You are already Free.”So, “…go forth and reveal and unfurl your beautiful tapestry within the Tapestry of the Web of Life.”The Covenant: The Ninth Transmission is YOU* Transmission 9 is called The Covenant… and as we've learned, Transmission 9 is YOU.* A covenant is offered to sign in realization and completion of this sacred journey—between you and Yeshua.* This is your commitment to upholding your service as a Holder of the Light.* This is the moment to acknowledge that the Light you carry is your responsibility.Key Takeaways* The journey of transformation is an internal one.* Freedom is not outside of us—it is within.* We are called to walk forward in peace, embodying the Light we already are.* You are the final transmission. You are the pathway to peace.Closing ReflectionThis has been a journey of transformation, alignment, and peace. The pathway is not outside of us—it exists within. We are the ones now—carrying wisdom, light, and the responsibility to embody love. This is not about seeking something external; it is about remembering who we truly are.You are the ninth transmission. Go forth in your life as peace. Thanks for listening. Keep holding the light.Subscribe & Stay Connected

Stress is killing us. Anxiety and worry are the basic cause of 60% of all human illnesses. The AP recently reported that nearly half of U.S. adults have high blood pressure. Stress has become so commonplace that we shrug it off as a joke and something we just need to manage better. But God wants you to experience freedom from stress. Jesus, no doubt, experienced anxiety. But through intimacy with the Father—Knowing he was never alone—anxiety had to give way to peace. It's the same for you! The ever-present God of love has peace that can help you sleep through any storm. The apostle Paul wrote some powerful words from prison that can keep you calm and rise above the stress. Learn how to be anxious for nothing this Saturday.

We are all constantly telling ourselves stories. Our brain is wired for stories and will often gravitate towards the negative, which can give way to shame. Shame is an unreliable narrative. Shame tells us that there is something inherently wrong with us at our core. Many of us who grew up in the church think that voice telling us how wrong we are is the Holy Spirit. This Saturday, Sarah will be talking about ways to walk in freedom from the shackles of shame so we can embrace a life of grace and self-compassion.

The Limit of Autonomy. The Gift of Freedom    Freedom is not the ability to do anything you want – it is the ability to accept your limits, to say no to that which robs you of what you most deeply desire. Almost everyone agrees (Christians and non-Christians) freedom is the fulfillment that comes from doing what you most deeply desire. The Bible says that only happens when you are willing to be completely dependent on God. “I will obey You and Your Word and not all of my contradictory, conflicting impulses. I will do what You say, and I know, then, I'll find myself because I was built to obey You.” The essence of Freedom is not dos and don'ts but personal allegiance to a relationship with Jesus. “Oh, the joys of those who do not follow the advice of the wicked, or stand around with sinners, or join in with mockers. But they delight in the law of the Lord, meditating on it day and night.” -Psalm 1:1-2 (NLT)- Ethos is a life-giving community committed to keeping Jesus at its Center. We are on a mission to love all people in Jesus' name so that we may all Know God, Find Freedom, Discover Purpose, & Make a Difference. You are already free.  How does this feel to you?  Does resistance arise?  Logic?  A space for possibility?
