Their opponent, the Seattle Mariners, who the Sox split a 4 games series with last weekend. Steven Wright gets the ball for the Red Sox in game one. Despite allowing just one earned run in his last 3 starts, the knuckleballer is just 1-1, due to lack of run support from his offense (1 run). The Sox will also send Eduardo Rodriguez and Chris Sale to the hill this weekend for a crucial series as Boston finds itself 2 games behind the Yankees in the AL East, their biggest deficit of the season.
