Hour 1 Jerry Recco and Willie Colon fill in for Boomer and Gio. The Yankees salvaged their Red Sox series finale but need more from Aaron Judge and better hitting against good pitchers, unlike the Red Sox who manufacture runs. Anthony Volpe is getting a deserved break. C-Lo discusses his football coaching debut. The Yankees rely on home runs, as seen in their recent win over the Red Sox. The Mets failed to sweep the Braves due to early missed opportunities. Cal Raleigh set a single-season HR record. The Giants are monitoring Tommy DeVito and are unlikely to trade Jameis Winston, who Willie believes would play over Jaxson Dart. Jerry updates Willie on his groundhog and new bat problem. Hour 2 Jerry and Willie discuss NFL cutdown day, with Willie noting players try to stand out. He believes the Jets still need a better QB despite helping Quinnen Williams, critiquing Fields' NFL struggles compared to his Ohio State days. The Giants must win one of their first two divisional games. C-Lo's update covers Jazz Chisholm Jr.'s two homers helping the Yankees beat the Red Sox, the Mets' loss in Atlanta due to poor hitting with runners in scoring position, Shohei Ohtani's interaction with a heckler, and "The Big Dumper's" record day. Brian Schottenheimer plans to address Micah Parsons' behavior. Tommy Fleetwood won his first PGA Tour Championship, while Daniil Medvedev argued with an umpire after a photographer interrupted play, a reaction Willie understands. The hour concludes with Jerry reflecting on wild live sports moments, including the Malice at the Palace and the World Series earthquake. Hour 3 The hour began with calls about crazy live sports moments, a topic Jerry couldn't believe we missed. Willie recalled Antonio Brown quitting during a game. A squirrel disrupted the Yankees-Red Sox game, where the Yankees later won 7-2 with homers from Trent Grisham and Jazz Chisholm Jr. The Mets lost to the Braves, and Marlins reliever Tyler Phillips slaps himself before games. The final segment continued with calls about live crazy sports moments. Hour 4 The final hour includes more calls about crazy sports moments, with Jerry and Willie recalling some and learning others. C-Lo provides his last update after their boss shares a crazy sports moment and Jerry asks Willie about a cruise fight. C-Lo plays audio of a 2002 Royals coach attack, which Willie connects to learning caution. The Yankees won, but the Mets lost. The Moment of the Day: Jerry's bat problem, which Willie couldn't handle. The show ends with another crazy Jets/Shea Stadium moment. Jerry and Eddie both have Shea Stadium grass.

Ed and OB's latest pod had it all: boy-band dreams, baseball fantasies, and a phrase so overused it deserves its own fan club. They dove into viral internet nonsense, debated whether a Backstreet Boys Vegas residency could change lives (spoiler: OB might start packing glitter), and mapped out big ideas for the podcast's future. Along the way, they swapped stories about Yankees–Red Sox games, catching home runs without bodily harm, and why the glory days of R-rated comedies still make today's movies look PG. Your favorite podcast about nothing returns, and—as always—the charm is that we suck. Two guys. Two mics. Two questionable takes. That's the hose, baby.

BT and Sal ignite a heated debate about a potential radical MLB realignment after the upcoming season, particularly focusing on the possibility of the Mets and Yankees sharing a division. While Sal, typically a traditionalist, is surprisingly open to the idea of a constant Subway Series for the boost it would give New York baseball, BT emphasizes the critical need to preserve the Yankees-Red Sox rivalry and expand the division to include other major Northeast markets like Philadelphia and Toronto, sparking a broader geographical discussion about how new divisions could shake up baseball's established rivalries and overall landscape.

Boomer's flight to Cincinnati for a Kenny Anderson event was canceled due to a lightning strike, preventing him from attending. Meanwhile, the Knicks' coaching search continues, with Jason Kidd and Michael Malone being considered. The recent developments suggest James Dolan's decision to fire Thibs was impulsive. In sports news, the Red Sox defeated the Yankees with five home runs, despite two from Aaron Judge, and swept the series. The Yankees' X (Twitter) account used a Brandon Tierney song without credit. The Mets swept the Rockies, with two homers each from Pete Alonso and Jeff McNeil; Alonso surpassed David Wright on the Mets' all-time home run list, earning Wright's congratulations. Finally, the Yankees-Red Sox rivalry made headlines when rookie pitcher Hunter Dobbins stated he'd retire rather than play for the Yankees. This prompted Boomer to recall his own refusal to play for the Colts after their move from Baltimore due to its impact on his college community in Maryland.

Hour 2 Pete Alonso, now second on the Mets' all-time home run list, is only under contract for the current season. Listeners speculated the Knicks' success might be due to James Dolan's focus on The Sphere, while others called in about the Mets' strong start. Boomer, and several callers, questioned the seemingly endless supply of cows and chickens for food. Jerry then reported on the Yankees' loss to the Red Sox, despite two homers from Aaron Judge, and the Mets' sweep of the Rockies, featuring two home runs each from Pete Alonso and Jeff McNeil. The segment concluded with discussions about Aaron Rodgers seemingly being the Steelers' third-choice and Jaxson Dart's slim chances of playing this year, alongside more calls about American burger consumption. Hour 3 Bad Weather Fans' post about no new "Roommates" podcast sparked Gio's observation that no Knicks players or management have commented on Thibs' firing. This silence, he reasoned, allows for rampant speculation, aligning with the Knicks' history of firing coaches still under contract. Jerry then updated the sports news: Boston hit five homers to beat the Yankees, despite two from Aaron Judge; Pete Alonso's two home runs helped the Mets sweep the Rockies, pushing him past David Wright on the Mets' all-time list; and the Thunder evened their series with the Pacers at 1-1. The hour concluded with more discussion about American hamburger consumption and the theory that James Dolan fired Thibs after sitting in on player interviews. Hour 4 Boomer and Gio's planned boat day was thwarted by bad weather, leading them to consider golf instead. A caller deemed Derek Jeter the most "boring" athlete to interview. Before Jerry's final update, Boomer shared his new green drink from Chris Wragge's wife. Jerry then played audio of Jazz Chisholm's mic'd-up error. In sports, Aaron Judge hit two homers in a Yankees loss, while Jeff McNeil and Pete Alonso each hit two as the Mets swept the Rockies. The Giants' defensive coordinator wants his players to emulate pirates for turnovers, and the Thunder evened their series with the Pacers. The show concluded with a caller's story about a woman with E. coli in her sinuses and a discussion of potential Knicks coaching candidates.
BT and Sal dive deep into the Knicks' coaching carousel, questioning who truly pulled the trigger on Thibodeau's firing and if there's a "crack in the foundation" of the organization. They also weigh in on Pete Alonso's MVP potential, the enduring Yankees-Red Sox rivalry, and dissect the Mets' surprising season and the Yankees' bullpen strength, all while exploring other pressing New York sports topics.

Devin and Steve are back to bring you up to speed on all the latest MLB offseason buzz, with major signings, blockbuster trades, and swirling rumors that are reshaping the landscape of the league. We kick things off with the New York Yankees making a huge splash, signing star left-hander Max Fried to a monster 8-year, $218 million deal. Boston parted with highly touted prospects Kyle Teel and Braden Montgomery to get their guy, but did they give up too much for a pitcher with untapped potential or not enough? We break down the risk, reward, and what this means for the Red Sox's future. Trade rumors are also heating up around Kyle Tucker, the Astros' star outfielder. Could Tucker truly be on the move? If so, which teams are realistic landing spots, and how might this shake up Houston's roster-building strategy as they aim to stay atop the AL West? But the headlines don't stop there! Hour 1 Boomer is back with Al and Eddie out for the week. Gio is happy to have his partner back after a few days with Stugotz. The trade deadline is tomorrow and both the Yankees and Mets have already been active. The Yankees brought in show favorite (because of Eddie's drops) Jazz Chisholm Jr. while the Mets have added Jesse Winker and Ryne Stanek. Boomer says it's an all-in move for the Yankees while David Stearns has been making smart moves. The Mets lost Kodai Senga in his first start of the season. Boomer was annoyed at Gleyber Torres for making a baserunning blunder last night and at the ESPN booth for not calling it out. Chris McMonigle chimes in to defend Gleyber. Jerry is here for his first update and Boomer wants to start with a wellness check on Frank the Tank, so Jerry does just that. Sal tweeted that the NL Wild Card race was over when the Mets took a big lead on Friday night against the Braves. A few minutes later, Kodai Senga went down. Frank the Tank went off on Sal in a video on social media. Gio fills Boomer and Jerry in on his week with Stugotz. The Mets lost their second straight to the Braves and Ryne Stanek had a rough debut. Jazz Chisholm enjoyed his first Yankees/Red Sox experience and playing in front of a big crowd. Giancarlo Stanton could return tonight. Tua got his massive extension, Jerry Jones had a rough press conference and Boomer was not duped by AI Mike McDaniel. The Mets weekend took a bad turn when Kodai Senga got hurt and some fans think it's Sal's fault. Aaron Rodgers congratulated Jordan Love on his extension and encouraged Love to buy his old house. Hour 4 We mocked Chris “Mad Dog” Russo for betting 10K on the Jets over but Gio thought about it and actually likes the bet. Gio thinks the Jets can be very good and get off to a hot start. Boomer agrees and says the Jets wanted to start the season on the road. Boomer still sees a Davante Adams trade to the Jets coming at some point. Jerry returns for his final update of the day but first we show off a gift from our friends at spermbank.com. Boomer got some of his sperm bank questions answered during the break. Boomer seems to have had it with the baseball sound this morning. C-Lo has audio of EJ the producer for Maggie & Perloff, who's dealing with a kickball knee injury. He thanked a lot of people for their support. I mean, a lot of people. We also talked about Dov's injury and how he hasn't been at work since Passover.
