Send us your feedback — we're listeningJohn 1:12 — “Jesus, Remind Me Who I Am in You Today” **Auckland • Chicago • Accra • Berlin • Osaka identity in Christ, self-worth crisis, emotional stability, Jesus remind me who I am, morning confidence, inner renewal John 1:12 (NIV): “Yet to all who did receive Him… He gave the right to become children of God.” Isaiah 43:1 (NIV): “Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name; you are mine.” Jesus, this morning the world is wrestling with identity, worth, and stability. Millions wake up wondering if they matter, if they are enough, if their life carries meaning, and if anyone truly sees what they are battling. Speak into that space right now with Your unmistakable authority. Remind every heart that their worth is not shaped by mistakes, opinions, rejection, pressure, or comparison — but by the unchanging truth that they belong to You. Holy Spirit, quiet the voices that say, “You're not enough… you're falling behind… you don't measure up.” Replace them with Your voice that speaks life, value, confidence, and belonging. Where insecurity sits deep, fill that place with Your assurance. Where discouragement whispers that someone is invisible, remind them they were known before they were formed. Where emotional weight feels heavy, breathe courage. Restore dignity, restore clarity, restore the sense of being called by name and chosen with purpose. Yahweh, Father of identity, let the Lion of Judah roar over every lie that has attached itself to Your people. Break the influence of comparison, shame, regret, and fear. Lift off every false label, every heavy expectation, every shadow that tries to steal confidence. Let Your truth be the anchor: You are Mine… I have redeemed you… I have called you by name. Let these words settle deeper than doubt, deeper than insecurity, deeper than every anxious thought. Jesus, remind Your people that identity is not earned — it is received. It is not fragile — it is eternal. It is not unstable — it is secured in You. Let today be marked by a fresh sense of belonging and inner confidence. Let minds be strengthened, emotions steadied, and hearts lifted high in the reality of who they truly are: loved, chosen, known, redeemed, held, and never abandoned. In Jesus, I am chosen, called, secure, and deeply loved. My identity is anchored in Him alone. identity in Christ, Jesus remind me who I am, morning devotional prayer, emotional stability prayer, Holy Spirit confidence, Christian encouragement, daily prayer podcast,Support the showFor more inspiring content, visit RBChristianRadio.net — your home for daily devotionals, global prayer, and biblical encouragement for every season of life. Send us your feedback — we're listeningJohn 1:12 — Jesus, Remind Me Who I Am in You (Isaiah 43:1) Singapore • Mexico • South Korea • France • Kenya identity in Christ, insecurity, feeling not enough, self-worth renewal, Jesus define me, emotional grounding John 1:12 (NIV): “Yet to all who did receive Him… He gave the right to become children of God.” Isaiah 43:1 (NIV): “Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name; you are mine.” Jesus, across the world people step into the morning carrying private questions about who they really are. Some feel invisible, overlooked, or forgotten. Others wrestle with insecurity, comparison, or a sense of not being enough. Many quietly wonder if they belong anywhere. But You speak a different word: You are Mine. You call each person by name. You place worth where the world places pressure. You restore identity where life has eroded confidence. Holy Spirit, breathe truth into the places where lies have settled. Silence the voices that tell people they are inadequate, unwanted, or insignificant. Lift off labels placed by failure, criticism, fear, or past wounds. Let the Lion of Judah roar over every heart that feels small: You are chosen. You are loved. You are seen. You are called. Anchor identity not in performance or comparison, but in Christ alone. Yahweh, Father of belonging, surround those who feel disconnected this morning — the lonely, the overwhelmed, the anxious, the ones battling self-doubt, the ones trying to hold everything together while quietly wondering if they matter. Wrap them in Your presence. Remind them that identity is not earned; it is given. Not fragile; but secured. Not temporary; but eternal. Let Your Word rise within them as a foundation: I am a child of God. I am redeemed. I am known by name. Jesus, restore confidence where it has been broken. Restore courage where it has been drained. Restore dignity where it has been taken. Let this day unfold with renewed assurance — not shaped by the world's opinion, but by Your truth. Let identity in Christ become an unshakeable anchor. Her next book, Remind Me Who I Am, Again (1998), a family memoir about her mother’s dementia, won the Mind Book of the Year award and the Age Concern Book mod the Year award. Her next book, When I Lived in Modern Times (2000) won the Orange Prize for Fiction. Her next novel, Still Here (2000) was longlisted for the Man Booker Prize. Her non-fiction book, The People on the Street: A writer’s View of Israel, (2005) won the Letter Ulysses Prize for Literary Reportage. Her latest novel, A Stranger City, was published in 2019. In this episode, we talk about Linda's novel The Dark Circle. The story is set in post war London. East End twins Lenny and Miriam Lynskey  are relieved  that the war is behind them and despite the grim post war rations and environment they  are ready to embrace life to it’s fullest. However, their grand plans are  drawn to an abrupt halt when they discover that they have tuberculosis.   Lenny and Miriam are dispatched to the Gwendo, a newly constructed modernist sanatorium in the Kent countryside that offers free care to all, from aristocrats to car dealers. There they meet a motley crew of patients all desperate for the much awaited and low in supply "miracle cure" streptomycin. With eerie similarities to our current Covid pandemic, this book will have you  thinking about the perseverance of the human spirit against all odds .   You can find Linda here.  You can discuss this episode on SHMUZY here.
