His songwriting credits include Leeland, Matt Redman, Mack Brock, Micah Tyler, Christine D'Clario, Rita Springer, and more. But most of all, Phil's favorite thing is to be available to lead worship alongside the men and women of God who carry the Gospel to the furthermost regions of the earth. His song, Miscarriages, is out now. Miscarriages” can help others who are grieving such a loss. Miscarriage is so common, and the pain is not acknowledged enough, both in the Church and society.

What did Cory Asbury do this time? Seems like his latest single has some Biblical and historical inaccuracies mentioned in its lyrics. Was it intentional or an accident? This week, we also discuss an altercation involving Josiah Queen's wife caught on tape as well as an old quote from Rich Mullins that was making the rounds online recently.Support me on Patreon and watch The Bonus Tracks at: https://www.patreon.com/c/imcliffordtodayWant your music on our Spotlight segment? Voices In My Head (The Rick Lee James Podcast) Episode 576 - Phil King - Miscarriages PHIL KING OFFERS HOPE AMIDST LOSS WITH POIGNANT ‘MISCARRIAGES' NASHVILLE, Tenn.—Unveiling one of his most emotive and powerful singles yet, acclaimed singer/songwriter and worship leader Phil King bows “Miscarriages” today. Written and produced by King with children's choir and string arrangements by Tyler Michael Smith, “Miscarriages” aims to bring comfort to grieving parents while serving as an important reminder that earthly loss is only temporal. King, a father of twins, was moved to pen the poignant ballad upon witnessing multiple families in his own circle experience the heartbreak of miscarriage. “After grieving with some good friends who lost a child in the womb, we learned that another couple was pregnant with twins," he explains. "We were overjoyed to celebrate with them, but then my wife received a call with more devastating news—they had lost their ‘Baby B,' a reference to the second child conceived in a twin pregnancy. In our journey of becoming twin parents, ‘Baby B' would have been our son. Hearing this news and imagining the pain of losing our own son is what set me on course to compose ‘Miscarriages.'” “After I wrote the song, I sent it to both couples with the intent of bringing comfort to them,” King shares. “Along with their reactions, and after playing it for a few others, I decided that with all the other millions of stories of miscarriages out there and so few songs on the subject, this one needed to be available for anyone to hear.” He adds, “In Heaven, families are reunited every day. My hope is that ‘Miscarriages' reassures parents with the truth that their baby is not actually lost. Rather, their child is safe in Heaven with Jesus, waiting for them on the other side of eternity. I hope this knowledge will prevail in the hearts and minds of people who have struggled with the grief of miscarriage as they listen.” A pro-life advocate, King performed his anthem “Not Forgotten” with GRAMMY-winning singer/songwriter Francesca Battistelli before 20,000 people at Focus on the Family's 2019 “Alive From New York” gathering. Featuring 4D ultrasound footage projected on screens in Times Square, the event underscored the undeniable scientific evidence that a baby in the womb is fully human, fully alive and fully worthy of protection. “Miscarriages” is King's second single of the year, arriving on the heels of “Heal Our Land.” A fervent prayer for America which released prior to last month's Presidential Inauguration, the song is a plea for peace, spiritual transformation and personal revival in the wake of change, tension and new beginnings. Do we recognize the majesty of God in this man, Jesus? Do we see it only in the dramatic healing of the man's son, or the majesty of Jesus on the Mount of Transfiguration? God's majesty is veiled in the person, life, ministry, suffering, death, and resurrection of Jesus. But make no mistake: This Jesus is God's majestic Son, Savior, Redeemer, Lord, and Friend! Here's the Michael W. Smith link.
On this episode I am doing a deep dive into the song Sky Spills over by the talented Michael W Smith. So sit back and enjoy this episode.
Be Bold & Fight Your Battles (Be Bold Series)Hebrews 12:1-2 "Therefore, since we are encompassed with such a great cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight and the sin that so easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us. Let us look to Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.Two years ago, I was away on a retreat with 20 other Christian women who are all dedicated to starting their year off right and turning their focus to God. Each year in Big Life Mentoring, shout out to Pamela Crim, we each pick a word and mantra. Our word and manta is what we say every day to help remind us of the commitments we made to ourselves to live as the best version of ourselves. This New Year's retreat that I was on for the last 5 days was a chance to talk about what we want to get out of this year and also to form a great bond and friendship with several other ladies. These ladies can be our accountability group and support throughout the whole year. We know what each and every lady on this retreat wants this year, and we can pray for them and their goals. This was my first year going to this retreat. It was an amazing weekend. I love it when women who love Jesus get together to talk and get to know each other. We played worship music and walked to the beach at night to look at the stars and thank God for all He has done. We all talked about our strengths and our areas for improvement. We discussed where we are struggling and what we want from this upcoming year. We discussed what we would do to help make those wants a reality. It was really good girl bonding time, and everyone loved it. While I was on this retreat, several ladies talked about how they have that negative voice in their head so often. You know the voice I am talking about, the one that says you are not enough, the one that says God would never forgive you, the one that makes you feel awful about yourself. That voice that makes you question every decision you have ever made. That voice that makes you feel like you don't belong. We all have our own version of the mean voice inside our head. This verse tells us that we can look to those around us as witnesses. I saw so many witnesses that weekend on the New Year's retreat. The women who were on the retreat were truly amazing. We all struggle with different things and are all good at other things. We can look to each other for help with our struggles. Who in your life could be a witness? Who in your life could you look to for an example of how to live? The people in my prayer group are also great witnesses. They are all excellent examples of how to be the face of Christ to others. In the 6 years I have been in this prayer group, they have taught me much about God and His love. Look to those around you and learn all you can from them! This next line is the one that really made me think this was the verse for today. It says, “Let us also lay aside every weight and the sin that so easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us.” That is a powerful statement and one that we all need to remember when we have so many burdens in life. We have so much that can go wrong each day. If we can lay aside everything weighing on us and run the race with endurance, life will be much easier. The verse also asks us to lay aside the sin that so easily entangles us. This is a very true statement of how sin works. We tend to get entangled in it. We make one bad choice and then another; before we know it, we are wrapped up in sin, regret, and shame. This verse is telling us to lay our burdens and sins aside. The question is, “How do we do that?” How do we lay our burdens aside? How do we avoid getting entangled in sin? The answer is right in this verse. “Let us look to Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith.” Jesus is the author of our faith. He can show us the way. We can learn much just by looking at Jesus and how He lived. We can also look to Jesus when we are trying to find the strength to lay our burdens aside. We can look to Jesus when we are trying to find a way to make it through the day. That weekend, there were at least two ladies who said they were afraid that the enemy was stronger than they were. This is a real fear that many of us have. The truth is, the enemy probably is stronger than we are, but he is definitely not stronger than God is. God has already won that battle and come out as the victor. When we start to get scared that the enemy might be getting stronger than we are, we can remember Romans 8:31 “…If God is for us, who can be against us?” This is the truth that we need to keep reminding ourselves. If God is for us, who can be against us? God is for you and me and each one of His children. Yes, you, you are His child. Even when you don't feel worthy, even when you don't feel you deserve it, even when you feel like you can't possibly be good enough to be his son or daughter, He is for you. God doesn't need us to feel good enough for Him to love us. He always loves us! He is always our Father, and we are always His children. One thing we did several times this weekend was listen to worship music. We listened when we were in the hot tub, when we were at the beach, and while we were getting up in the morning. We surrounded ourselves with worship music. One song played several times and is one that I think is a great song for us all to remember when we are struggling with the thoughts that the enemy might overtake us. This song is called “Surrounded (Fight my battles)" by Michael W. Smith. What I love about this song is the way it tells us how to fight our battles and then reminds us that God is there with us. Here are the main lyrics:… The word says"For the spirit of heavinessPut on the garment of praise"That's how we fight our battles (yeah)… This is how I fight my battlesThis is how I fight my battles (yeah, yes)This is how I fight my battles (what we're doing tonight)This is how I fight my battlesJust when you think you're lost… It may look like I'm surrounded but I'm surrounded by You, hey!It may look like I'm surrounded but I'm surrounded by YouIt may look like I'm surrounded but I'm surrounded by YouIt may look like I'm surrounded but I'm surrounded by You This is a great thing to remember. When we feel overwhelmed by the attacks of the enemy, we can remind ourselves that although it feels like we are surrounded on all sides by the enemy, we are actually surrounded by the Lord our God. The song repeats these verses over and over again. It is so relaxing and peaceful when I listen to this song. I hope you take the time to listen to it because I know it can bring you peace, too! Dear Heavenly Father, I ask you to bless all those listening to this episode today. Lord, be with us and help us feel you surrounding us. When we feel the enemy is greater than we are, help us remember that we aren't in this alone. Help us to remember you are there, surrounding us and protecting us. Spiritual warfare is real, and we are in a battle, whether we realize it or not. We will fight that battle, lifting up praise to You as You surround us. We love you so much, Lord; you are amazing!! You are so powerful, and we are so grateful that you already won the war over evil. You conquered death, and sin no longer has dominion over us now. Thank you, Lord! We praise you, and we thank you. You are awesome, and we are in awe of you. We ask all of this in accordance with your will and in Jesus' holy name, Amen!Thank you so much for joining me on this journey to walk boldly with Jesus. Stephanie engages in a heartfelt conversation with renowned worship leader Darlene Zschech, who likes to remind us that learning to trust God is a superpower! Darlene invites us into a life of authentic worship. She challenges us to cultivate a heart rooted in humility, to pursue genuine connection with God, and to understand the profound impact of living a life centered around worship. Darlene emphasizes the necessity of approaching worship without pressure or performance. She underscores that God's love is unconditional and is not influenced by our achievements or failures. This invites us to worship and create from a place of freedom, where we can focus on building a sincere relationship with God rather than seeking approval or validation from others. Darlene shares her own journey, highlighting how she learned to adore God not for His gifts or as a task to check off, but simply to be in His presence. God's delight in us is not contingent upon our accomplishments, but is inherent to our relationship with Him. Engaging with God without any agenda other than presence leads to an authentic worship experience. Darlene's wisdom reminds us that trusting God is a superpower. Her personal experiences, including battling cancer, illustrate God's faithfulness and the necessity of discerning His voice. Humility in worship is non-negotiable. Darlene speaks to the trap of self-sufficiency, particularly for those naturally inclined to leadership and capability. She insists on the importance of shedding self-reliance and embracing humility to fully trust and depend on God. In a world craving attention, Darlene values the hidden life and the importance of remaining true to worship's essence. Her journey reminds us to fight for a culture of truth and humility. Darlene's experiences illustrate the significance of nurturing deep roots in God's Word and maintaining accountability in our faith walk. She cautions against the allure of fame and the pressure to create commercialized versions of worship, advocating instead for a focus on genuine expression that aligns with God's heart. Darlene's testimony of God's faithfulness during her battle with cancer is particularly moving, as she reminds us to trust both God's whisper and shouts alike. Nurturing a close relationship with God prepares us to discern His guidance during pivotal moments. Stephanie asks Darlene about the church's role in cultivating worship leaders. Darlene stresses the importance of mentoring and discipleship within worship teams, encouraging leaders to uphold a culture of truth, confidence, and humility. This environment ensures that the focus remains on facilitating worship towards God rather than self-glorification. Darlene's experience with Christians in India teaches us about true devotion and reliance on God. When comfort isn't an option, desperation calls out to God, showcasing His incredible faithfulness. Here are some of the key insights Stephanie will remember from her conversation with Darlene. Make them your own, or add some more! 1. Embrace Your Identity in Christ: God loves you unconditionally, regardless of your actions or achievements. 2. Delight in God's Presence: Prioritize spending time with God, not just for what you can gain, but for simply being with Him. 3. Practice Humility and Confidence: Strive for the combination of these qualities in your faith and life. 4. Cultivate a Life of Worship: Lead others to focus on God's worth, not your own abilities. 5. Seek to Align Desires with God's Will: Spend time in His word to align your heart with His plan. 6. Nurture a Hidden Life: Value your private relationship with God over public recognition. 7. Be Anchored in a Sure Foundation: Start each day with devotion and prayer, positioning yourself for what the day brings. 8. Serve with Excellence: Honor God through high standards in your work, recognizing Him as the source of your abilities. 9. Surrender to God's Will: Continually submit your life to Him and trust in His faithfulness. 10. Remember God's Faithfulness: Regularly reflect on and remember His past faithfulness as a source of encouragement. 11. Lead by Example in Worship: Facilitate a genuine connection between people and God, elevating them to see His worth. 12. Darlene is passionate about raising and training other worship pastors, leaders, teams, and writers. To this end, she has penned six books which have been translated internationally. Darlene and Mark live in the beautiful Central Coast of New South Wales with their family: Amy and her husband Andrew, Chloe and her husband Hosanna, Zoe and her husband Matthew and their six beautiful grandchildren Ava, Roman, Ruthie, Thea, Elias and Nora. MORE ABOUT “TESTAMENT”, DARLENE'S LATEST ALBUM New album "Testament" is not just about memories, it's a statement that worship leads to encountering Christ afresh in every moment. Australian worship leader Darlene Zschech unveils her highly anticipated studio album, “Testament.” The new release marks the milestone 30-year anniversary of “Shout to the Lord,” a song that became an anthem for the church worldwide. It is also a stake in the ground to the faithfulness of God, as the title track declares: “My testament is you.” Stirred by friends and family, Zschech crafted a collection of 25 reimagined legacy songs and five brand-new tracks. From iconic songs such as “Cry of the Broken” and “Victor's Crown,” to fresh offerings like “Spirit of the Living God” and “Yes Again,” each song carries a powerful sound that is just as vibrant today. It also features many artists like Martin Smith, SVRICINA, Mitch Wong, and Michael W. Smith among others, as well as various choirs and the Australian Christian Orchestra, creating an expansive and eclectic project filled with the sound of praise, thanksgiving, and rich collaboration. This album embodies Zschech's story and her experience of God's unfailing love, not only in worship ministry but in each intricate details of her life too. It's a family project, described by the artist as “songs that have deep meaning to my family, that have helped shape me and kept my focus heavenward.” “Testament” weaves together songs that have been the soundtrack to her children's lives, her battle with cancer, and her adventures planting churches and starting non-profits alongside her husband. It also features multiple family members, including Zschech's daughter, Zoe Cameron, on “Shout to the Lord.” Commenting on this central song, which was penned before Zoe's birth, Zschech said: “I wrote it quickly while crying out to God about our future, saying that no matter what, we will follow him. I was young in age and young in God. ‘Shout to the Lord' changed things around us, but the things that really matter never changed and never will: God is faithful and attentive to our prayers.” Harnessing this central theme of faithfulness, “Testament” communicates its close relationship to obedience and thankfulness. It's the sound flowing out of a lifetime lived with the Lord, the very meaning of worship. Zschech is adamant that worship is not a genre but the whole of one's life poured out for the glory of God: “I'll always find it hard to wrap my head around the miracle of worship, music, and song. There's really no other vehicle available to us on earth that has the ability to bring to attention our mind, auditory senses, resting our hearts, moving the soul and spirit to a point when your whole self is pointed in the one direction. Such is the power of worship as the Holy Spirit leads our heart heavenward, Jesus-ward, through the magnificent sound of sacred song.” “Testament” is not just about memories, but it's a statement that worship leads to encountering Christ afresh in every moment. Zschech's prayer is that this collection of songs would play a part in people's story as they too are reminded of God's incredible faithfulness. Jason Lovins - Pilgrim Road -Episode 570 - Voices In My Head (The Rick Lee James Podcast) JASON LOVINS BAND CELEBRATES 20TH ANNIVERSARY WITH PILGRIM ROAD NASHVILLE, Tenn.—Celebrating two decades of music and ministry in 2025, the Jason Lovins Band is poised to commemorate the milestone year with Pilgrim Road (New Day Digital Distribution), out January 17. Featuring 11 tracks produced by the Kentucky-based group and showcasing their signature sound—a unique tapestry of gospel, country and pop influences—Pilgrim Road is hallmarked by guest appearances from bluegrass hitmakers Chosen Road and longtime NewSong frontman and acclaimed singer/songwriter Russ Lee. The title cut, a modern hymn written by Noah Baker and Jason Lovins, encapsulates the album's theme as well as the overarching mission of the Jason Lovins Band. “Not only does ‘Pilgrim Road' capture the heart of what we want to say with this record—sharing the Gospel and reflecting on the journey from Genesis to Revelation—but naming the album Pilgrim Road felt right as we look back on 20 years together and see God's faithfulness every step of the way," says Lovins. "Even after all this time, it feels like we're just getting started, and we're excited for the road ahead.” Further highlights of Pilgrim Road include the project's latest single, “Hide My Soul,” a joyful worship anthem penned by Daniel Doss, Emma Feldman, Jonathan Jackson and Jonathan Turner, along with the band's two guest collaborations: a bluesy bluegrass take on the 1890 Gospel classic “Life's Railway To Heaven” featuring Chosen Road, and the impassioned pop anthem “Constant” with vocal contributions from Russ Lee. In addition, Pilgrim Road continues the Jason Lovins Band's longstanding tradition of showcasing a Spanish-language selection on each album. “En La Cruz,” a rendition of the beloved hymn “At The Cross,” is a nod to group member Rodney Mora's heritage and serves as a poignant reminder of the Gospel's power to transcend languages and cultures. “Our pianist Rodney Mora was born and raised in Venezuela and grew up in a Christian home, which is not the norm there,” explains Lovins. “I remember the first time we sang a song together, me in English and Rodney in Spanish, it really opened my eyes to just how big God is. He has no barriers, and He understands and hears us both.” “Hymns have shaped our lives and faith, and we feel blessed to carry them forward,” Lovins adds. “I grew up surrounded by these songs that have stood the test of time and tell great stories of the faith. Hymns have a way of bridging and connecting generations, so we want to keep putting our own twist on them.” ABOUT THE JASON LOVINS BAND With a unique fusion of country, gospel and worship styles anchored in Jason Lovins' Appalachian heritage, the Jason Lovins Band has been delivering modern arrangements of sacred hymns alongside their own acclaimed originals since 2005. Lovins' personal testimony propels the band's mission and purpose, and they have released 11 full-length recordings to date, including the three-volume Songs From Sunday series and two Christmas projects. Helmed by Lovins and comprised of members Rodney Mora, Aaron Crozier and Jonathan Nicholson, the Jason Lovins Band has opened for Michael W. Smith, Steven Curtis Chapman, Crowder and Point of Grace, among others. In addition, the group has appeared at Billy Graham Crusades and multiple Southern Baptist state conventions, and they perform at numerous churches and conferences around the country each year. Jason Lovins' life is a testament to the faithfulness of God—the only Father he has ever known. Born in Huntington, West Virginia, to a 15-year-old girl who was assaulted and impregnated by a stranger as she walked home from the community swimming pool, Lovins was raised by his mother and grandmother in a devout household of faith. As a child he traveled throughout Appalachia with his grandmother's Gospel singing group, but it was his first encounter with contemporary Christian music as a teenager that changed the trajectory of his life. Immediately captivated by the modern worship he heard at a youth group meeting, Lovins was inspired to embark on a lifelong mission of ministry-driven music. Early in his career, while performing with his college band in a local church, Lovins felt compelled to tell his birth story for the first time on stage. Deeply moved by his testimony, the church's pastor made Lovins promise he would continue to share the pivotal account each time he performed. Since that day, Lovins' testimony has been a cornerstone of the Jason Lovins Band's ministry platform. For further information, visit jasonlovins.com or turningpointpr.com. Six-time Grammy winner, Nashville Songwriters Hall of Famer, and Kennedy Center honoree Amy Grant joins us to chat about the pursuit of honesty in songwriting, the stories behind some of her songs, and her catalog of modern day Christmas classics. PART ONEPaul and Scott chat about the idea of a "definitive" version of a Christmas song, discuss their favorites, debate about Christmas songs they love and hate, and delve into Scott's elementary school crush on Amy Grant. PART TWOOur in-depth interview with Amy GrantABOUT AMY GRANTPerhaps the most influential pioneer of the Contemporary Christian Music genre, Amy Grant released her first album while still in high school. Her fourth album, 1982's Age to Age, found unprecedented success with hit singles such as “Sing Your Praise to the Lord” and “El Shaddai.” Age to Age topped the Christian album chart for 85 weeks, earned Amy her first Grammy award, and became the first Christian album to be certified Platinum by the RIAA. Her 1984 album Straight Ahead spawned hits with Amy's original compositions “Thy Word” and “Angels,” and became the first Christian album to land on the Billboard 200. By the mid-1980s, she further crossed over to mainstream success when “Find a Way,” which she wrote with Michael W. Smith, hit the Top 40 on Billboard's pop chart. The following year, Amy reached the top of the pop chart with “The Next Time I Fall,” a duet with Peter Cetera. Her 1991 album Heart in Motion sold 5 million copies and spawned four Top 10 singles on the Billboard Hot 100, including the self-penned hits “Baby Baby” and “Every Heartbeat.” That same year, she enjoyed another Top 10 pop hit as a songwriter with Michael W. Smith's “Place in This World.” Amy continued to find mainstream success in the mid-1990s with singles such as “House of Love,” a duet with her now-husband Vince Gill, as well as the songs “Lucky One” and “Takes a Little Time,” which she wrote with Keith Thomas and Wayne Kirkpatrick, respectively. Starting with 1983's A Christmas Album, holiday music has been an important part of Amy Grant's artistry. She has since released the albums Home for Christmas, which was certified three-times Platinum; A Christmas to Remember; Tennessee Christmas; and The Animals' Christmas, a collaborative album with Art Garfunkel featuring songs by Jimmy Webb that explore the nativity story from the perspective of the animals. Amy's original songs “Tennessee Christmas” and “Breath of Heaven” have become modern day holiday standards. Her Christmas concerts, often featuring husband Vince Gill and longtime collaborator Michael W. Smith, have become a holiday tradition. To date, Amy has released twenty studio albums and has sold over 30 million records worldwide. Seventeen of her albums have reached #1 on Billboard's Top Christian Albums chart, more than any other artist in history. She has won 6 Grammy awards, 26 Dove awards, and has been inducted into the Gospel Music Hall of Fame. Amy has received honorary doctorates from two universities, has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and was inducted into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2021. She was a recipient of the prestigious Kennedy Center Honors for lifetime artistic achievement in 2022.

Welcome to the daily304 – your window into Wonderful, Almost Heaven, West Virginia. Today is Saturday, Nov. 23, 2024. West Virginia boasts its fair share of talent, and that includes musicians--check out some talented artists that hail from the Mountain State…Breeze Airways launches a nonstop flight from Charleston to New York City…and in Native America history, did you know the Kanawha Valley once had the highest concentration of burial mounds in North America?…on today's daily304. #1 – From WV TOURISM – Nothing soothes the soul quite like mountain music, and in West Virginia, there is plenty of just that. Whether you're into traditional country music or looking for unique covers with tons of Appalachian energy, you are sure to find a catchy tune from a West Virginia musician. Renowned country music star Brad Paisley doesn't hesitate to pour his Mountain State heritage into his music. Paisley grew up in Glen Dale in the Northern Panhandle. Contemporary Christian artist Michael W. Smith grew up in the small Wayne County town of Kenova. Head over to wvtourism.com to learn more about West Virginia's talented musicians. Breeze Airways has launched nonstop service from West Virginia's Capital City to New York-Newark, New Jersey, with fares starting from $49* one way. This marks the newest destination served by West Virginia International Yeager Airport, along with Myrtle Beach, SC, and Tampa and Orlando, FL. Yeager CEO and Airport Director Dominique Ranieri said the NYC route fosters new opportunities for tourism and business growth in the region. According to archaeologist Darla Spencer, author of Woodland Mounds of West Virginia, more than 400 mounds have been recorded in West Virginia, and their presence was once so extensive that explorers couldn't believe they were of Native American origin. Scholars long ago proved that indigenous peoples had raised the mounds. Today you can still find ancient mounds in South Charleston and Dunbar in the Kanawha Valley. A professor of Native American studies at West Virginia University, Spencer examined the Grave Creek Mound in Moundsville, and 16 other mounds and mound groups of mounds in West Virginia in her book. Matthew says, “EACH SONG IN ITS OWN WAY IS INSPIRED BY THE DIFFERENT TYPES OF PRAYERS WE FIND OURSELVES PRAYING THROUGHOUT OUR LIVES. WE PRAY PRAYERS FOR STRENGTH WHEN WE ARE WEAK, PRAYERS FOR A MIRACLE WHEN WE NEED A BREAKTHROUGH, PRAYERS FOR PURPOSE WHEN WE FEEL LOST. MOST OF ALL, I WANTED TO MAKE A RECORD THAT ECHOED THE CALL I HAVE FELT IN MY OWN HEART TO HIT MY KNEES LIKE NEVER BEFORE AND NEVER FORGET THAT THE MOST IMPORTANT CONVERSATION I COULD HAVE TODAY AND EVERY DAY OF MY LIFE IS WITH THE ONE WHO MADE ME, KNOWS ME, AND HAS THE BEST PLAN FOR MY LIFE. I HOPE THESE SONGS INSPIRE YOU TO DISCOVER FOR THE FIRST TIME OR MAYBE REDISCOVER THE POWER OF A PRAYER.” matthewwest.com @matthewjwest christianmusicguys.com @christianmusicguys
