She followed this by writing and performing her first play, The Marilyn Tapes, first at Don't Tell Mama's Cabaret and another off-Broadway run at The Blue Heron Theatre. With hundreds of credits in TV, film, theater, radio, animation, and interactive games, she has electrified audiences with her performances. Fans tell her she has empowered them in their own lives.   Now, the magical wings of Disney have helped Lenore Zann soar to new heights of fame. Fans and critics alike have hailed her stunning performance in X-Men '97 as Emmy-worthy with both the show and Lenore garnering numerous award nominations, including a Primetime Emmy nomination for Best Animated Production. An album of songs and several feature film and TV roles are currently in the works. A Rogue's Tale is her first book.   Lenore also received the 2024 King Charles III Coronation Medal for outstanding community service, the Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award for Service to Community and Country, the ACTRA Award for Best Actor, and a Lifetime Achievement Award for Contribution to Arts and Culture. Khadijah and Jude worked together at a startup in Toronto–both on the marketing team. Khadijah was the content person, and Jude was a digital marketer focused on paid advertising. Now, Jude is still doing ads as a Demand Generation Manager at Clearbanc (which has recently expanded into the United Kingdom). Before Jude and Khadijah met at work, Jude was working for the Sick Kids Foundation and learned a lot of her marketing fundamentals there. As she moved more towards ads/digital, she learned that she loved the creative aspect of this type of role being paired with data and analytics that allow her to truly understand the impact of the campaigns that she runs. When it comes to buzzwords and terms, both ladies agreed that "growth hacking" could be left behind, and that ABM was on the rise. Even though organizations have likely been doing ABM (account-based marketing) whether they knew it or not, there is so much more messaging around it and clear structures for how to execute on it. On the note of messaging, both agreed that at the start of the pandemic, there were quite a few hits and misses in terms of covid-themed messaging from companies. In short, the hits really hit and the misses were coming across as the "saviour" for people in an unprecedented time of crisis. We're all just trying to figure it out, even a year later. When it comes to marketing, Jude really emphasized that she loves how fast-paced marketing is. The term itself she finds to be overused, but it's great being able to constantly switch between tasks and projects. Even if the final product is months down the line, the work leading up to that point can really keep you on your toes. This is the time of year for family, fun, and festivities. But it is also an opportunity to give to those in need. Charities use a variety of fund-raising methods around the holidays, but one group employs a unique approach. The Toronto Santa Speedo Run is the brainchild of "Head Santa" Matt Freeman. The premise is simple: your friends and family pledge money to watch you run through the streets of downtown Toronto, in December, dressed in nothing but a bright red speedo. It started in 2005 as a fundraiser for the Toronto Hospital for Sick Children's Toy and Games Fund. Now in its 12th year, this group of brave, scantily clad runners has successfully raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for the fund!
