In this last episode of series 3 of Music at a Rational Volume, Nate and Kyle offer a response to the mildly successful Songs About a Girl playlist episode, Songs About Dudes. They talk about creating the list and in the same vein, the hosts discuss the differences between the two. Such as, why there are 80,000 million times more songs about girls than their male counterparts, and how come James by The Bangles wasn't a hit. It should have been huge. I know it, you know it, and those jerks at the label back in the day sure as hell knew it and they screwed that poor band out of further money and succes.... sorry... So listen along as we put a pin in another series and there will be more to come later in the summer.
