Al-Fajr (Arabic: الفجر, "The Dawn", "Daybreak") is the eighty-ninth chapter (sura) of the Quran, with 30 ayat or verses.[3] The sura describes destruction of disbelieving peoples: the Ancient Egyptians, the people of Iram of the Pillars, and Mada'in Saleh. It condemns those who love wealth and look with disdain upon the poor and orphans. Righteous people are promised Paradise – the final verse says "And enter you My Paradise!". The Surah is so designated after the word wal-fajr with which it opens.[4] Summary # 1-4 Various oaths by natural objects 5-13 Unbelievers are warned by the fate of Ád, Thamúd, and Pharaoh[5] 14-17 Man praises God in prosperity, but reproaches him in adversity 18-22 Oppression of the poor and the orphan denounced 23-26 The wicked will vainly regret their evil deeds on the judgment-day 27-30 The believing soul invited to the joys of Paradise[6] Then the surah discusses that Man praises God in prosperity, but reproaches him in adversity in ayaat 14th to 17th. The discourse then denounces the oppression of the poor in ayaat 18th to 22nd. And approaching the end ayaat 23rd to 25th give the verdict that the wicked will vainly regret their evil deeds on the judgment-day, while ayaat 26th to the 30th gives the good news to the believing soul invited to the joys of Paradise. Beginning by reflecting upon one of my favourite verses from Surah Al Fajr where. “Allah will say to the righteous, “O tranquil soul! Return to your Lord, well pleased with Him and well pleasing to Him. So join My servants, and enter My Paradise.” (89:27-30) Allahu Akbar, I pray Allah swt makes us of those who get to hear these beautiful words. In this episode I want you to truly realise that you are nothing but a traveller on this earth and the sooner you detach yourself from this dunya the better you will be able to prepare for your akhira!

(89:1) By the dawn, (89:2) and the ten nights, (89:3) and the even and the odd, (89:4) and by the night when it departs. (89:5) Is there in this an oath for one endowed with understanding? (89:6) Have you not seen how your Lord dealt with Ad (89:7) of Iram, known for their lofty columns, (89:8) the like of whom no nation was ever created in the lands of the world? (89:9) And how did He deal with Thamud who hewed out rocks in the valley? (89:10) And with Pharaoh of the tent pegs (89:11) who transgressed in the countries of the world (89:12) spreading in them much corruption? (89:13) Then their Lord unloosed upon them the lash of chastisement. (89:14) Truly your Lord is ever watchful. (89:15) As for man, when his Lord tests him by exalting him and bestowing His bounties upon him, he says: “My Lord has exalted me.” (89:16) But when He tests him by straitening his sustenance, he says: “My Lord has humiliated me.” (89:17) But no; you do not treat the orphan honourably, (89:18) and do not urge one another to feed the poor, (89:19) and greedily devour the entire inheritance, (89:20) and love the riches, loving them ardently. (89:21) But no; when the earth is ground to powder, (89:22) and when your Lord appears with rows upon rows of angels, (89:23) and when Hell is brought near that Day. On that Day will man understand, but of what avail will that understanding be? (89:24) He will say: “Would that I had sent ahead what would be of avail for this life of mine!” (89:25) Then on that Day Allah will chastise as none other can chastise; (89:26) and Allah will bind as none other can bind. (89:27) (On the other hand it will be said): “O serene soul! (89:28) Return to your Lord well-pleased (with your blissful destination), well-pleasing (to your Lord). (89:29) So enter among My (righteous) servants (89:30) and enter My Paradise.”

Beautiful Surah Al-Fajr

Surah Al-Fajr (bahasa Arab:الفجر, "Fajar") adalah surah ke-89 dalam al-Qur'an. Surah ini tergolong surah Makkiyah yang terdiri atas 30 ayat. Dinamakan Al-Fajr yang berarti Fajar diambil dari perkataan Al-Fajr yang terdapat pada ayat pertama surah ini. Dengan nama Allah, Yang Maha Pengasih, Maha Penyayang. Demi fajar, dan malam yang sepuluh, dan yang genap maupun yang ganjil, dan malam apabila berlalu; dalam hal yang demikian itu terdapat penegasan bagi orang-orang yang mengerti. (Ayat:1-5) Apakah kamu tidak memperhatikan cara Tuhanmu bertindak terhadap 'Aad? Iram yang mempunyai bangunan-bangunan menjulang tinggi bahwa hal yang menyerupai demikian pun belum pernah didirikan di negeri lain; serta Tsamud yang membelah bebatuan besar di lembah; serta Fir'aun yang mempunyai pasak-pasak, yang mereka itu telah berlaku sewenang-wenang di dalam negeri sehingga mereka mengadakan banyak kekacauan disana, oleh sebab itu Tuhanmu menghantamkan Malapetaka kepada mereka; sungguh Tuhanmu adalah Yang Maha Mengawasi. (Ayat:6-14) Adapun manusia, ketika Tuhannya hendak menguji orang itu sehingga Dia muliakan orang itu serta Dia karuniakan kebaikan untuk orang itu, maka orang itu mengatakan: "Tuhanku telah memuliakanku" sedangkan ketika Tuhannya menguji orang itu dengan membatasi rezekinya maka orang itu mengatakan: "Tuhanku membenciku"; Tidak demikian, yang sebenarnya kalian tidak memuliakan anak yatim, bahwa kalian tidak bersegera memberi makan kaum miskin, bahwa kalian menghabiskan harta benda secara serakah; bahwa kalian mendambakan harta benda secara berlebihan; maka jangan demikian! Apabila bumi hancur berkeping-keping, sehingga hadirlah Tuhanmu diiringi para malaikat yang berkedudukan, bahwasanya pada Hari itu Jahannam diperlihatkan, pada Hari itu manusia akan tersadar akan tetapi untuk apa kesadaran baginya pada saat semacam itu, orang itu mengatakan: "Alangkah baiknya, sekiranya dahulu aku berjuang untuk kehidupan ini" maka pada Hari itu tiada yang menghantam sebagaimana HantamanNya, serta tiada yang membelenggu sebagaimana BelengguNya. (Ayat:15-26)"Wahai jiwa yang tenang! kembalilah kepada Tuhanmu disertai suka cita lagi diperkenan, maka masuklah bersama hamba-hambaKu, serta masuklah ke dalam SurgaKu."
