Tetapi pada-Mu ada pengampunan, supaya Engkau ditakuti orang." (Mazmur 130:3-4)Renungan: Suatu ketika saya Misa sore Jumat Pertama di gereja Santa Theresia. Setelah belasan tahun tidak misa di sana, tiba tiba ada kerinduan untuk kembali di masa lalu, di saat saya kuliah di gedung sekolah Santa Theresia. Seperti Film yang diputar saya mengingat kembali dulu setiap pagi sebelum kuliah dimulai saya selalu misa pagi di gereja tersebut. Kemudian terbayang pula orang tua, saudara, teman-teman juga om saya yang telah membiayai saya kuliah. Semua kebaikan mereka seolah-olah muncul kembali di depan mata saya. Di situlah saya berdoa untuk mereka satu persatu, mengucap syukur atas semua kebaikan mereka yang mungkin selama ini hampir terlupakan karena kesibukan saya Dalam hidup keseharian kita, masing-masing dari kita punya kenangan dengan orang-orang di masa lalu yang pada akhirnya membentuk pribadi kita seperti sekarang ini. Tapi seiring perjalanan waktu mungkin kenangan manis itu bisa berubah menjadi kenangan pahit yang mungkin tidak ingin diingat kembali. Semua kebaikan mereka mungkin saat ini sudah tertutup karena perlakuan mereka yang telah mengecewakan dan menyakitkan hati kita. Bacaan hari ini mengingatkan kita bahwa Tuhan tidak pernah mengingat-ingat kesalahan kita. Kalau setiap kesalahan kita Dia ingat, maka kita tidak akan pernah tahan menghadapi hukuman-Nya yang kita akan terima. Tetapi Tuhan itu baik, sebesar apapun kesalahan kita, asal kita mau datang dengan hati yang hancur, maka belaskasih dan pengampunannya akan tercurah atas kita. Mungkin saat ini pasangan kita sudah terlalu membuat kita tertekan dengan larangan, sikap dan perkataan yang kasar. Mungkin anak-anak kita saat ini sudah terlalu menyakitkan hati kita dengan sikap pemberontakannya. Mungkin orang tua kita saat ini sudah terlalu jauh mengatur kehidupan kita sehingga kita benci dengan mereka. Kalaupun hal itu semua sudah terjadi, saat ini Tuhan mengajak kita untuk tenang, dan mulai mengingat saat pertama kali kita bertemu dengan mereka, atau saat pertama kali kita memiliki mereka. Ada begitu banyak kebaikan yang kita terima dari mereka, sehingga kita mau menerima mereka masuk dalam hidup kita. Sekecil apapun kebaikan mereka, itu semua pernah kita terima dan pada akhirnya kita mau menerima mereka apa adanya. Mungkin setelah kita mengingat semua kebaikannya, ada sedikit senyum dan ketegaan menghiasi hati kita. Hidupilah itu, maka kita dapat memulai untuk mengampuninya. Setelah kita mampu mengampuni, kita akan melihat kuasa Allah akan bekerja untuk mengubah kehidupan kita dan keluarga kita. Tuhan Yesus memberkati.DoaTuhan Yesus, terima kasih atas orang-orang terdekat yang pernah dan masih Kau hadirkan dalam hidupku saat ini. Aku bersyukur karena aku boleh masuk dalam kehidupan mereka dan boleh menerima mereka masuk dalam kehidupanku. Tapi seiring perjalanan waktu, aku merasa kalau saat ini aku tertekan hidup dengan pasangan, anak-anakku atau orang tua dan sahabatku. Aku rindu Tuhan, untuk bertemu dengan pribadi-pribadi itu di masa lalu di mana mereka pernah membuat aku bahagia karenanya. (Amsal 29:23)Renungan: Ada seorang profesor yang naik sebuah perahu bersama seorang nelayan untuk menikmati keindahan danau. Profesor itu bertanya, "Apakah engkau pernah belajar ilmu fisika tentang energi angin dan matahari?" "Tidak", jawab sang nelayan. "Kalau begitu engkau telah kehilangan seperempat peluang hidup." Profesor bertanya lagi, "Apakah engkau pernah belajar tentang filsafat dan bahasa asing?" "Tidak", jawab sang nelayan. "Ooh. berarti engkau telah kehilangan tiga perempat peluang kehidupan." Tiba-tiba angin kencang bertiup, sehingga perahu mereka terombang-ambing dan mulai oleng. Sang nelayan lalu bertanya pada sang Profesor yang kelihatan ketakutan, "Apakah anda pernah belajar berenang?" Dengan wajah pucat pasi karena takut sang profesor menjawab, "Tidak pernah." Nelayanpun berkata, "Ah, jika demikian bapak telah kehilangan semua peluang hidup bapak." Kisah di atas memberikan pelajaran penting bagi kita agar jangan menyombongkan diri dan menganggap rendah orang lain. Kencan Dengan Tuhan - Sabtu, 15 November 2025Bacaan: "Jagalah supaya jangan ada seorang pun menjauhkan diri dari kasih karunia Allah, agar jangan tumbuh akar yang pahit yang menimbulkan kerusuhan dan yang mencemarkan banyak orang." (Ibrani 12:15)Renungan: Suatu ketika saat saya naik bus Transjakarta, jalur bus dipakai oleh kendaraan lain karena macet maka bus Transjakarta yang saya tumpangi keluar jalur dan berjalan di sebelah kiri mepet dengan trotoar. Tiba-tiba bus tersebut menyerempet seorang ibu yang sedang mengendarai motor, motornya terbalik dan kaki si ibu tertindih motor sementara badannya tengkurep di trotoar jalan. Entah dari mana datangnya, tiba-tiba bermunculan anak remaja tanggung yang jumlahnya sekitar 15 an, mereka terlihat seperti preman-preman yang kemudian berteriak-teriak menyuruh bus berhenti sambil memukul mukul bus tersebut dan menghadang di depannya. Wajah mereka begitu beringas. Namun akhirnya masalah dapat diselesaikan oleh petugas patroli. Keadaan ekonomi yang kurang dan pendidikan yang rendah dapat membuat seseorang melakukan sesuatu kebrutalan tanpa pikir panjang. Itulah yang sering terjadi di negara kita saat ini. Banyak orang yang mempunyai hobby baru yaitu merusak, menyerang, membunuh dan menghancurkan. Kitab Suci sendiri sudah menubuatkan bahwa keadaan manusia pada akhir zaman itu tidak dapat mengekang diri, garang, tidak berpikir panjang dan lebih menuruti hawa nafsu daripada menuruti Allah (2 Tim 3:1-4) Lalu bagaimana dengan kita sebagai pengikut Yesus? Apakah kita termasuk dalam bilangan orang-orang yang seperti dinubuatkan tersebut? Sering secara tidak sadar perkataan kita menyakiti orang banyak, tatapan mata sinis kita telah menyinggung perasaan orang lain. Kalau bisa kita tanyakan kepada suami, istri, anak-anak, orang tua dan sahabat, sudah berapa sering kita menyakiti dan mengecewakan mereka? Mungkin sudah terlalu banyak sampai pasangan kita sudah terlalu muak dan ingin meninggalkan kita. Atau anak-anak menjadi takut setiap kali papa pulang, karena sudah terlalu sering disakiti olehnya. Marilah kita menyadari bahwa setiap pribadi yang hadir dalam hidup kita adalah hadiah Tuhan yang terindah untuk kita. Mungkin ia terlalu menjengkelkan buat kita, tetapi orang tersebut tetap hadiah terindah dari Tuhan untuk kita. Mulailah untuk mengampuni dan menerima keberadaannya sebagaimana Tuhan menerima kita apa adanya, maka Tuhan akan ubahkan dia menjadi berkat bagi hidup kita. Tuhan Yesus memberkati.Doa:Tuhan Yesus, ada begitu banyak orang yang kehilangan cinta dan perhatian dari orang-orang yang dikasihinya, sehingga membawa dampak negatif bagi kepribadiannya. Akupun menyadari bahwa ada sisi gelap dalam hidupku di masa lalu, yang membuat karakterku seperti sekarang ini, sehingga kehadiranku sering menjadi batu sandungan bagi orang lain. Masuklah dalam hatiku, dan selidikilah batinku. Hancurkan semua luka batin, dendam, akar kepahitan yang selama ini mengikat aku. (Pengkhotbah 11:9)Renungan: Kemacetan bukanlah suatu pemandangan yang baru di Jakarta. Hampir dipastikan setiap pagi, siang dan sore di jalan-jalan tertentu kendaraan berlapis-lapis dan tersendat. Sehingga banyak orang yang harus meluangkan waktu 2 jam lebih awal atau lebih untuk pergi ke tempat tertentu pada hari-hari kerja. Saat mengantri dalam kendaraan di tengah kemacetan, banyak hal yang bisa dilakukan. Ada yang marah-marah dan mengomel, ada yang panik karena takut terlambat, ada yang santai sambil mendengarkan musik, bahkan ada yang diam dan berdoa. Saat sampai ke tempat tujuan, suasana hati dan fisik merekapun berbeda. Mereka yang penuh kemarahan dan panik, akan membawa suasana hati mereka sampai di rumah, sehingga kepanikan dan kemarahan bisa berlanjut dan suasana rumah menjadi tidak nyaman lagi. Mereka yang tenang mendengarkan musik dan berdoa, tetap akan membawa suasana sukacita ketika sampai di rumah, sehingga sukacita tetap memenuhi rumah mereka. Ternyata bukan hanya kendaraan yang mengantri berjam-jam di tengah kepadatan jalan ibukota. Tanpa kita sadari pribadi kita masing-masing pun saat ini sedang mengantri untuk kembali ke rumah Bapa. Cepat atau lambat semua kita akan kembali kepada-Nya. Apakah di saat mengantri giliran kita, hati kita dipenuhi ketakutan, kemarahan, kedosaan atau kenajisan? Ataukah hati kita tetap tenang, percaya dan berharap? Jika antrian manusia yang akan kembali ke rumah Bapa bisa digambarkan, kira-kira masih berapa meterkah jarak anda dan saya saat ini untuk sampai ke sana? Kalau dihitung pakai hitungan hari, kira-kira tinggal berapa hari lagikah anda dan saya sampai ke sana? Marilah kita persiapkan diri kita dengan baik, baik jasmani dan rohani kita, sehingga ketika kita sampai di rumah Bapa, kita akan melihat senyum-Nya yang terindah menyambut kedatangan kita. Tuhan Yesus memberkati.Doa:Tuhan Yesus, terima kasih atas rahmat kehidupan yang Kau berikan padaku sampai hari ini. Pagi ini Kau sadarkan aku bahwa hidupku di dunia hanya sementara saja. More than 7 million children across the United States depend on special education services, which school districts now refer to as exceptional children’s services. But recent cuts to the Department of Education are taking more resources away from the historically underfunded programs under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). To discuss their growing concerns and the potential impact the situation could have on students, we hear from Anita Hagins Jones, the resident of the Georgia PTA, Lola Green, the president of the Georgia Special Education PTSA, Theneshia Dixon, the legislative chair for the Special Education PTSA, and Cobb County School Board Member Leroy "Tre" Hutchins, who is also a special education specialist. Plus, the Georgia Asylum and Immigration Network (GAIN) is a local nonprofit that provides free immigration legal services and other wraparound support to immigrant survivors of crime and persecution. Back in October, the organization’s executive director, Alpa Amin, said the Department of Justice denied funding to GAIN’s Legal Assistance for Victims (LAV) Program. (Mazmur 55:23)Renungan: Suatu ketika setelah keluar dari halte bus Transjakarta, saya melintasi jembatan penyeberangan. Dari jauh saya melihat seorang pemuda berusia sekitar 18 tahun sedang lelap tertidur di atas jembatan penyeberangan sehingga sedikit menghalangi orang untuk lewat. Dia tertidur pulas seolah-olah tidak ada beban dalam hidupnya, walaupun hanya tertidur di atas lempengan baja yang penuh debu dengan banyaknya orang yang lalu lalang. Ada banyak di antara kita yang justru diberkati Tuhan dengan tempat tidur yang empuk, AC yang dingin justru tidak bisa menikmati tidur. Banyak alasan yang membuat orang sukar tidur, antara lain karena sakit penyakit, dikejar-kejar hutang, usaha yang mengalami kebangkrutan, perasaan bersalah, kecemasan akan hari esok, takut hartanya dicuri orang, was-was akan nilai ulangan dan ujian, dikhianati pasangan, takut ketahuan korupsi, merencanakan sesuatu yang jahat untuk orang lain dan sebagainya. Hal yang paling utama dari penyebab orang susah untuk tidur adalah jiwa yang tertekan dan kegelisahan hati. Masalah kita tidak jauh lebih besar dari orang-orang yang hidup di kolong jembatan, pinggir jalan, para pengemis dan gelandangan. Lalu mengapa mereka bisa tidur nyenyak sedangkan kita susah untuk tidur? Nikmatilah hidup ini sebagai hadiah dari Tuhan, karena hidup ini hadiah maka jalani dengan baik, agar Sang Pemberi hadiah senang dan senantiasa memelihara kita. Untuk itu, maukah kita tidur nyenyak? Kalau kita mau, ikut sertakanlah Tuhan dalam setiap pergumulan hidup kita, takutlah akan Tuhan dan berharaplah kepada-Nya seperti firman-Nya, "Mengapa engkau tertekan, hai jiwaku, dan gelisah di dalam diriku? Berharaplah kepada Allah! Sebab aku akan bersyukur lagi kepada-Nya, penolongku dan Allahku. Tuhan Yesus memberkati.Doa:Tuhan Yesus, Engkau mengetahui kegelisahan dan ketakutanku saat ini. Ada banyak kekhawatiran dalam hidupku yang membuat aku sulit untuk tidur. Ampuni aku Tuhan, karena ketakutanku ternyata lebih besar dari kemampuan-Mu untuk menolong aku.
