La vivienda y la guerra en Oriente Próximo son las claves del día. La primera de ellas aborda uno de los problemas más difíciles de resolver desde las políticas públicas, el acceso a la vivienda, cuyos precios, tanto en compra como en alquiler, están muy lejos de las capacidades de un amplio porcentaje de la sociedad española. La segunda, la guerra que Israel está llevando hasta más allá de los límites del Derecho internacional. La pregunta sigue siendo la misma: ¿Hasta cuándo la comunidad internacional va a seguir permitiendo esto?

El Gobierno presentará hoy un plan para regenerar la democracia, pero merecerá una lectura, porque en toda democracia regenerada son los medios de comunicación los que deben controlar al Gobierno, y no al revés. Además, hoy el Senado reconocerá, como ya hizo el Congreso, a Edmundo González como presidente, lo que tiene el valor de lo simbólico -que no es poco-, pero vuelve a pecar de lo de siempre. Y todo indica que el Gobierno volverá a prorrogar los PGE, porque la realidad aritmética del Congreso, tozuda y contundentemente, volverá a manifestarse así en los próximos días.
