Synchronicity is a funny thing. When the "on-air" light flickered to life for Episode 333, none of us realized the clock had struck exactly 3:33 PM EST. Was it a fluke, or was the universe leaning into the microphone? In this landmark episode, Beans and Gaz are joined by the insightful Evan Gray for a deep dive into the cosmic connective tissue that binds us all. We start at the beginning—literally—by deconstructing the Tarot's "Fool's Journey." We explore how every one of us is currently walking that path, tumbling through the Arcana as we navigate the leap of faith into the unknown. The Ego vs. The Infinite: We get honest about what spirituality actually means in the modern world. The trio discusses the constant battle to keep the ego from "backseat driving" our spiritual growth, whether you're practicing Christianity, occultism, or anything in between. The Shared Human Experience: From personal revelations to the moments that shattered our old worldviews, we share the experiences that shaped our individual faiths. It turns out, no matter the label, the core search for meaning is universal. From Dust to Stars: We pivot from the internal to the external, looking at humanity's place in the cosmos. We discuss the implications of man in space and look back at the Ancient Egyptians—the original masters of aligning the earthly with the divine.A Pilgrimage to the Pillars: Beans and Gaz reflect on their separate journeys to Stonehenge. They share the raw, unfiltered feeling of standing amongst the megaliths and what that ancient site whispered to them about time, heritage, and the energy of the land."Spirituality isn't about being 'right'—it's about being open. The moment the ego decides it has all the answers, the journey of the Fool stops."Whether you're a seasoned practitioner or just someone looking for a bit of signal in the noise, this episode is a reminder that we are all wandering, all learning, and all tied together by a thread that started long before the pyramids were built.Grab your headphones and join us for the journey.Find Evan onlineThe Fools Reading – Evan Gray Tarot and Psychic Readingstallboyradio.com

#423 In this podcast episode, Guy talked with Rob Wergin about current global instability as the end of a major human evolutionary cycle and a shift from years of healing into stabilizing, going within, and building coherence. Rob described fear as a powerful, useful energy that should be redirected into presence rather than fed through overwhelm, and he offered listeners a three-part "Overwhelm" video series via a link to his contact form. He shared his Egypt trip to the tomb of Master Zoser, who he said taught him a soul-to-soul transmission through the eyes using a soft, unfocused gaze to bypass the analytical mind and rapidly calm the nervous system. Rob led Guy and listeners through a brief eye-gazing exercise, after which Guy reported heat in his hands and feet and seeing "static" in the field. They also discussed how guides are perceived through the mind's "screen," the importance of boundaries, accelerated transformation, and Rob's view that many ailments stem from unexpressed or inherited emotions, especially fear. About Rob: Rob Wergin, a remarkable individual gifted with extraordinary abilities that transcend the ordinary. Rob serves as a Clear and Sacred Instrument of Divine Healing Light, an exquisite energy of profound transformation. From the moment you encounter him, you'll find solace and comfort, as he deftly guides you through the process of releasing pain, disease, addictions, and more. He has served as a chosen Instrument of Divine Healing Light, embodying a boundless flow of divine energy and sacred whispers from above. Surrendering to this higher calling, Rob acts as a catalyst for profound emotional and physical well-being. Having touched the lives of over 350,000 individuals across the globe, Rob's unique gift of connecting souls to the energy of the Divine opens the pathway for transformation. In this episode, I'm unpacking the history of female body hair removal, the rise of shaving and Brazilian wax culture, and why women are taught to see natural body hair as “gross.”From Ancient Egypt and razor advertising to pornography, patriarchy, and Eurocentric beauty standards, we're digging into how female hairlessness became tied to femininity, desirability, cleanliness, and control. Why is body hair considered masculine on men but unacceptable on women? And why does modern beauty culture reward women for removing visible signs of adulthood from their bodies? Are. You. Ancient Egyptians believed the soul could die after death. So mummification was not simply burial. In Ancient Egypt, preserving the body was believed to help preserve the self through the afterlife. The body was kept intact.Names were repeated endlessly.Statues acted as replacement bodies.Rituals maintained connection between the dead and the living.Because the Egyptians believed survival after death was not automatic.Send us Fan MailOur Black Friday Sale is NOW ON!Get 50% of all Magical Egypt Filmshttp://www.magicalegypt.comGet the latest updates on our link treehttps://linktr.ee/magicalegypt.comConnecthttps://www.facebook.com/vanesemcneillOwn Magical Egypthttp://www.magicalegypt.comGet Hekahttps://wow.magicalegyptstore.com/hekaBecome a Patronhttps://www.patreon.com/magicalegypt

The tradition of sending greeting cards has withstood the rise of digital communication. Though often inexpensive, cards can convey our thoughts and emotions. Their rich history spreads over centuries of civilisations across the world, building a culture of card giving along its way.发送贺卡的传统经受住了数字通信的兴起。 尽管卡片通常很便宜,但它可以传达我们的想法和情感。 他们丰富的历史在世界各地传播了几个世纪的文明,一路建立了一种卡片赠送文化。It was written in a 2011 edition of Souvenirs, Gifts, & Novelties that since the earliest days of written interaction, special occasions such as birthdays and seasonal celebrations have been recognised through handwritten notes and letters. Ancient Egyptians wrote scrolls. In China, wishes of good fortune were sent in decorative red envelopes around Chinese New Year. And similarly, cards featuring classical Persian poetic verse written in calligraphy were exchanged. These gestures paved the way for the culture of greeting cards.2011 年版《纪念品、礼物和新奇事物》中写道,自书面互动最早以来,生日和季节性庆祝活动等特殊场合就通过手写便条和信件来识别。 古埃及人写了卷轴。 在中国,农历新年期间,人们会用装饰性的红包来寄出好运的祝福。 同样,还交换了以书法书写的古典波斯诗句卡片。 这些手势为贺卡文化铺平了道路。Before the printing revolution of the 15th century, only those with lots of money would write cards. Since then, they have become more accessible, meaning more people could communicate from a distance. As industrialisation continued to sweep through the 19th century, sending cards became a widespread practice. During the Victorian period, greeting cards became quite elaborate in design. They were adorned with lace, ribbon, and intricate illustrations. The cards themselves became keepsakes, treasured for their beauty and sentiment. Nowadays, we see a variety of designs. Most cards still leave a blank space inside for a handwritten message. Some cards can even be designed online to include pictures of loved ones, adding a more personal touch. According to Ken Research, from 2024 the global greeting card market was valued at around $19 billion. With that, and increasing concerns about the environment, many manufacturers are changing how they make their cards. They're using recycled and other environmentally friendly materials, like bio-degradable glitter and paper made from sustainable plant fibres like bamboo. So, we can continue our kind tradition of card giving without harming the planet.
Cevin Soling - a Hole In The Head A Documentary About TrepanationA hole in the head is an hour long documentary about trepanation-the process of boring a hole in the skull. A Hole in the Head examines the development of 'modern' trepanation as used by people in The United Kingdom, The United States, and The Netherlands for the purpose of attaining a higher level of consciousness. This procedure, used by the Ancient Egyptians, Incas, and others, is believed to by the voluntarily trepanned to allow for renewed brain pulsations that increase brain blood volume and thereby improve brain function. Interviews regarding the history and the efficacy of the procedure are also held with some of the world's most respected neurosurgeons and anthropologistsBecome a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/the-opperman-report--1198501/support.
The latest Mummy movie is a gruesome horror story about demonic possession, marking a departure from the blockbuster style of recent Mummy franchise instalments. It's also a bit of a misfire, so we're using this opportunity to look back at the original 1932 Mummy film, its Ancient Egyptian background, and its overlap with other Pre-Code horror classics like Dracula and Frankenstein.
Can a Brain Live Without a Body? | Digital Immortality, Ancient Curses & the World's Most Brutal Race What if the first creature to outlive its own body… wasn't human? In this episode of The Box of Oddities, Kat and Jethro dive into one of the most unsettling scientific breakthroughs in recent memory: researchers have successfully mapped and simulated the entire brain of a fruit fly—every neuron, every connection—and brought it to life inside a computer. Is it thinking? Is it aware? Or is it something stranger—something in between? From digital consciousness and the eerie implications of “connectomes” to the philosophical nightmare of uploading the human mind, this story blurs the line between science and science fiction in a way that's hard to unsee. But that's just the beginning. We also crack open the ancient world to explore chilling Egyptian tomb curses—warnings etched in stone that promise everything from fiery deaths to supernatural retribution. Were they symbolic… or something more? And why do so many of them involve birds with a serious attitude problem? Then, in a completely different flavor of human endurance (or madness), we explore the Self-Transcendence 3100 Mile Race—an almost incomprehensible ultramarathon where competitors run the same city block in Queens… for up to 52 days straight. No scenery. No escape. Just miles, repetition, and whatever starts to surface in your mind when there's nowhere left to hide. Is it spiritual enlightenment… or psychological unraveling? This episode asks big questions: * Can consciousness exist outside the body? * Are we inching toward digital immortality? * What happens when the brain becomes data? * And why would anyone willingly run 3,100 miles in circles? If you like your science unsettling, your history cursed, and your human behavior just a little unhinged… you're in the right place. Inside this Box: * The first fully simulated fruit fly brain (and why it matters) * The disturbing implications of digital consciousness * Ancient Egyptian tomb curses that still haunt modern imaginations * The world's longest certified footrace—and the minds that survive it Subscribe, follow, and join the Freak Family. A pair of Ancient Egyptian mummies once were a main reason for visits to Minneapolis' Central Library. They were on display there from the 1880s to the 1980s. But where did they go when the library got out of the museum business? And why were they in Minnesota in the first place? Eleanor Hildebrandt shares their tale with host Erica Pearson.

Meta is secretly building a photorealistic AI avatar of Mark Zuckerberg, trained on his image and voice, overseen by him personally, so it can hold conversations with employees, deliver feedback, and watch. His employees have called him the Eye of Sauron for years. Now the nickname is becoming architecture. In this episode we trace the deep history of this technology: the Egyptian ka, the vital double that inhabited temple images and extended the pharaoh's administrative gaze across an empire. The Tibetan tulpa and its social variant, the egregore, the thought-form sustained and charged by collective attention. The universal folklore of the doppelganger, whose arrival in every tradition signals the original's coming departure. And the uncanny valley, the primate threat-detection system that will be firing in every Meta employee's nervous system, below the threshold of consciousness, every time they sit down for a review with something that looks exactly like their boss but is not.The king's double is here. The only question is what it means for the king.

In celebration of Women's History Month, this episode is about four lesser-known goddesses of the ancient Egyptian afterlife whose primary roles were to protect, nourish, and occasionally punish those within the city of the dead. While famous deities often dominate pop culture, these four goddesses offer a unique window into how the Egyptians viewed the natural world and the social roles of mortal women. Discover the stories and archaeological footprints of Imentet who was the personification of the West; Khefethernebes and Meretseger who were both from the Theban Necropolis; and Hapetnebes from the Abydan Necropolis. From the royal tombs to the graffiti of tomb builders, this episode traces how the divine feminine provided a sense of security for both the physical body and the soul on its journey through the Duat. I was honoured to have this opportunity to talk to the pianist Christina Petrowska Quilico about her extraordinary life in music and the arts. She shared wonderful and moving stories about Ann Southam, Louis Quilico, Pierre Boulez, Jacques Isrealievitch, and her legendary teacher Rosina Lhévinne. I was really struck by Christina's open-minded attitude throughout her long career to learning new music, culminating in almost 70 brilliant and powerful albums so far; it's amazing to learn that most of her recordings are recorded live, in one take. Christina also shared how meaningful it is to her to be a mother and grandmother, as well as respected academic; she's Professor Emerita and Senior Scholar at York University in Toronto. Among many honours, she has been appointed to the Order of Canada, and the Royal Society of Canada. Her curiosity and creative energy seem limitless; she's a poet and visual artist, she's studied Ancient Egyptian culture, and she lives her life spiked with humour and a down-to-earth attitude. We are also including excerpts from several of Christina's albums and performances including music by Mozart, Art Tatum, Ann Southam, Meredith Monk and David Jaeger, all detailed in the timestamps, with links in the show notes. The show notes will also bring you to: Christina's website, linked episodes you'll enjoy, my podcast newsletter for exclusive information about upcoming guests, podcast merch, the YouTube video, and all the albums featured on this podcast! In this special episode, host Nichel Anderson unveils the full breakdown of the PMTR (Pyramid Mystery Temple Reunion) NFTS Collection, part of the MOLIAE Manifesto and the forthcoming relaunch on February 23 at Mint.MOLIAEWorld.com. This episode dives deep into the creative and spiritual foundation of the PMTR NFTs — a living digital art series designed to help fund Nichel's dream of filming her book “Mitsrayim: A Memoir of a Past Life In Ancient Egypt” into a feature film. Nichel connects the PMTR vision to Dr. W.E.B. Du Bois's prophecy from his essay “Of the Wings of Atlanta” and his concept of the Talented Tenth, linking it to today's Direct‑to‑Consumer (DTC) movement that empowers creators worldwide. She explains the PMTR Mystery — the missing HUJTA swords, the nine sacred symbols on each NFT, and the golden nugget hidden within the 10K collection that holds immense value for collectors and believers in the MOLIAE legacy. Listeners will also learn about the numerology and astrology behind the PMTR NFTs, the upcoming 3D collection “Legends of Lions,” and how these elements connect to the grand vision of MOLIAE WORLD. Nichel outlines the MOLIAE Token initiative, the Oracle Decode Book, and the step‑by‑step process for minting on launch day — from connecting your wallet (such as MetaMask) to downloading your decode guide and joining the MOLIAE Discord for community support. This episode also features updates on Nichel's new music, the PMTR short stories, and the future MOLIAE game — all part of a growing creative ecosystem that merges art, technology, and purpose. Tune in to discover how the PMTR NFTs are not just collectibles but living entities that carry meaning, prophecy, and opportunity. ----- (a) How to Mint Your PMTR NFT Go to Mint.MOLIAEWorld.com on launch day. Host Nichel Anderson returns with journey update on her groundbreaking episode dedicated to her MOLIAE PMTR (Pyramid Mystery Temple Reunion) NFTS Collection, a cornerstone of the MOLIAE Manifesto and the upcoming relaunch on February 23 at Mint.MOLIAEWorld.com. This episode serves as a complete guide to understanding the PMTR universe — its history, symbolism, and purpose as a creative funding initiative for Nichel's cinematic vision to bring “Mitsrayim: A Memoir of a Past Life In Ancient Egypt” to film. Nichel explores the prophetic connection between Dr. W.E.B. Du Bois's essay “Of the Wings of Atlanta” and her PMTR NFTs, drawing parallels between his Talented Tenth philosophy and the modern DTC (Direct‑to‑Consumer) movement. She reveals the mystery of the HUJTA swords, the nine encoded symbols on each NFT, and the hidden golden nugget within the 10K collection that represents both spiritual and tangible value for holders. Listeners gain insight into the numerology and astrology that shape the PMTR design, the forthcoming 3D “Legends of Lions” collection, and the MOLIAE Token that will expand the ecosystem's equity and utility. Nichel also walks through the minting process — how to connect your blockchain wallet (MetaMask recommended), mint your NFT, download the Decode Book PDF, and join the MOLIAE Discord or MOLIAE.com/forum for decoding assistance and community engagement. The episode concludes with exciting announcements about new music, the PMTR short stories, and the MOLIAE World game initiative, all reinforcing the living nature of the PMTR NFTs. Each NFT is more than art — it's a coded story, a digital relic, and a key to the unfolding MOLIAE World. Visit Mint.MOLIAEWorld.com to mint your PMTR NFT and become part of the legacy that bridges prophecy, creativity, and the future of storytelling. --- (a) How to Mint Your PMTR NFT Go tometamask.io, then return to the mint page. Historians are scratching their heads at a resurfaced ancient Egyptian scroll held by the British Museum that might support the claim that biblical giants were, in fact, real. The 3,300-year-old document has been in the museum's collection since 1839 and has recently resurfaced due to a group of researchers who claim that it links to biblical giant accounts. In this episode I will read directly from the segment of this controversial ancient scroll that mentions a mysterious large tribe known as the “Shosu.” I will also provide many other examples of what many believe to be giants of ancient Egypt that were either depicted or written about. From the Bible, to the Book of Enoch, to other historical non-biblical sources - I will also breakdown the endless mentions and legends of ancient hybrids.JOIN ME ON A TOURGiants of Ancient Egypt article
Welcome to Lunacy; where we discern the sacred from the insane and admit that whether we like it or not, we are all profoundly affected by the cycles of the moon.Today on LUNACY, we're in Egypt! This podcast was recorded in sight of the Great Pyramids. No joke. This talk was on the last day of a two week pilgrimage in Egypt. It was stunning. Truly awe-inspiring. Like how on earth did they build all of these astonishing structures? And why? This is where we delve in this episode. There's a lot of reflection on what it's like to enter these temples in a sacred way, with reverence. We dig into some of the mythology that led to the creation of these sites. We also look at what the Ancient Egyptians believed: Leading from the heart. Living by virtues. Embodying a cycle of offering. This one is good for those of us who marvel at the largest, most incredible buildings on earth, all created to honor the divine. Some secrets are revealed. Others are pondered. Good stuff. Much Love***********************I'm Geoff Eido. Fad workouts have been with us for decades, but they go back much further than we realize. Long before CrossFit, Zumba, P90X, Tae Box, Jazzercise or Jack LaLanne, we had 19th century strongmen. These mustachioed showmen were the first global fitness influencers. They hauled trunks of weights onto steamships, toured the world, then sold exercise equipment through the mail. The most famous was Eugene Sandow, who broke chains, and created with his own body a "manned cavalry bridge" where he would lie down while men, horses, and a carriage were driven over his body. He even fought a lion in front of an auditorium and won, although the lion was almost definitely sedated. Today’s guest is Connor Heffernan, author of “When Fitness Went Global: The Rise of Physical Culture in the Nineteenth Century.” In this episode, we discuss: Ancient Egyptians were basically doing CrossFit thousands of years ago. They trained with swinging sandbags that look exactly like modern kettlebell flows. One of the first exercise practices to experience globalization was Indian club-swinging. Indian club-swinging, originating from the heavy training clubs used by Indian wrestlers and soldiers for centuries, was observed and adopted by British military officers stationed in India during the early 1800s. Early diet culture was a carnival of quack science. Victorian fitness magazines were filled with miracle tonics, starvation cures and pseudoscientific meal plans. Many of our “new” diet trends are rebranded versions of schemes first marketed with sepia portraits and dubious testimonials. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
In this episode, host Stephanie Rice shares information about the origins of Ancient Egyptian kingship during the Predynastic period.Discover the real archaeological evidence of two different rulers known as King Scorpion that inspired the Scorpion King from The Mummy franchise. But unlike the cinematic portrayal, the real kings didn't amass and sustain their power through military conquest.Explore the Tomb of Scorpion I at Abydos which was filled with imported wine, lapis lazuli, and the first evidence of writing in Egypt. Learn about the ceremonial Scorpion Macehead that depicts Scorpion II planting crops.Together, their stories reveal that Egypt's first kings built their power through prosperity, order, and the sacred duty to sustain life not through warfare.TranscriptsFor transcripts of this episode head over to: https://archpodnet.com/tpm/30Works CitedBard, Kathryn A. I'm joined by profound wisdomkeeper, researcher, and explorer of ancient intelligence, Patricia Lehman. A long-time resident of Egypt and devoted student of indigenous Egyptian knowledge, Patricia brings a deeply embodied understanding of mythology, symbolism, and the ancient codes that shape human consciousness.Together, we explore how ancient civilizations like Kemet (ancient Egypt) understood cycles of consciousness, perception, time, long calendars, and reality. This episode is a powerful inquiry into how we remember truth in an age of confusion, how right-brain consciousness reawakens through the heart, and how ancient wisdom offers a living map for navigating NOW.We explore:2:42 Solar cycles, chaos, and collective anxiety3:56 The thinning electromagnetic “veil” and its impact on human biology and perception6:47 Why discernment—not belief—is the critical skill of this era7:10 Ancient Egyptian cycles of consciousness and the fall into separation8:08 Why truth is felt, not defined9:31 Nothing is real: illusion, perception, and awakening13:44 The hidden heart, the divine feminine, and the meaning of Amun14:29 Right brain vs left brain consciousness—and how to restore balance29:53 Masculine and feminine energies beyond gender35:33 Fear, confusion, and modern tools of control47:21 The holographic nature of reality and self-reflection56:35 How to begin trusting your inner knowing againAbout Patricia LehmanPatricia Lehman is a researcher, symbolologist, mythologist, and explorer of ancient civilizations with a primary focus on Egypt (Kemet). A lifelong student of metaphysical, spiritual, indigenous, and esoteric traditions, her work weaves together mythology, symbolism, comparative religion, ancient science, and consciousness studies.Patricia became a student of Egyptian indigenous knowledge holder Abd'el Hakim Awyan on her first journey to Egypt in 2005 and has since lived there for over 17 years. Imagine a humble bulb, small enough to fit in the palm of your hand yet potent enough to ward off ancient evils, heal ailments, and elevate a dish from mundane to divine. This is garlic, Allium sativum, a culinary and medicinal titan woven into the fabric of human history for over 5,000 years. From ancient Egypt's sunbaked fields to modern-day China's bustling markets, garlic has been revered, feared, and savored across cultures. Its pungent aroma and sharp bite belie a treasure trove of health benefits, a few drawbacks to be aware of, and a dazzling array of varieties that paint the world in shades of white, purple, and pink.Garlic's story begins in the cradle of civilization, where it was more than just food—it was medicine, currency, and even a spiritual shield. Ancient Egyptians fed it to laborers building the pyramids, believing it boosted stamina. At the same time, Sanskrit texts from 5,000 years ago document its use in treating heart disease and arthritis. The Greeks fed garlic to athletes before the earliest Olympics. In medieval Europe, garlic was hung over doorways to repel vampires and evil spirits. Today, science has caught up with folklore, confirming what our ancestors intuited: garlic is a nutritional powerhouse. Its magic lies in its sulfur compounds, particularly allicin, which forms when a clove is chopped, crushed, or chewed. This volatile compound, responsible for garlic's signature smell, is a key player in its health benefits, acting as an antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and antimicrobial agent.Research shows that garlic can lower total cholesterol and LDL ("bad" cholesterol) by up to 10% in individuals with slightly elevated cholesterol while increasing HDL ("good" cholesterol). Compounds like ajoene improve blood flow, prevent clots, and reduce the risk of heart attacks and strokes. It is high in antioxidants, such as allicin, which combat oxidative stress linked to aging and diseases like Alzheimer's. Additionally, garlic possesses well-known antibacterial and antiviral properties, often called "Russian penicillin."With over 300 varieties, garlic is as diverse as the cultures that cultivate it. The two main types are hard neck (Allium sativum var. ophioscorodon) and soft neck (Allium sativum var. sativum). Hard-neck garlic, with its rigid central stalk, thrives in colder climates and produces fewer, larger cloves with complex flavors. Varieties like Rocambole, with its rich, nutty taste, and Purple Stripe, sporting vibrant purple streaks, are prized by chefs for their depth. This episode was recorded for my UK Column show.Dr Max Zamilov shares his thoughts on the mysteries of the pyramids and ancient (advanced) civilisations. With a background in nuclear physics and engineering, he talks about the possibility of advanced technologies in ancient times, including the use of nuclear energy. He stresses the importance of telling the difference between speculation and factual history, encouraging a more open-minded approach to archaeological research, and why mainstream science is broken and untrustworthy.Max presents findings from his metrological studies on Egyptian artefacts and also covers the cyclical nature of history and what it might mean if we uncover the truth about our past (and, therefore, future).
