Piše Ana Geršak, bere Eva Longyka Marušič. Podoba oceana, ki visi v sobi ene od protagonistk kratkih zgodb Tjaše Mislej, je namerno ambivalentna: poudarja namreč spremembo perspektive glede na občutja gledalke. Podoba je vedno ista, a ko se Krista Marija, ki je bila do tedaj stereotipno utelešenje tradicionalne in utesnjujoče ženske triade mati-žena-gospodinja, odloči za radikalen rez, se ji ocean zdi »miren, prostran in neskončen«, tako kot so prostrane in neskončne tudi možnosti, ki jih vidi pred seboj. Že po prvem razočaranju pa se prizor spremeni: »Ocean je zdaj videti drugače: siv, pust in nedostopen.« Kljub temu protagonistka ne občuti obžalovanja, odprt konec – kot so večinoma vsi konci v zbirki Ocean na steni – pa daje slutiti, da se bo podoba oceana še naprej spreminjala in odsevala njena notranja občutja. Metafora se zdi že skoraj preveč popreproščen povzetek raznih rekov in modrosti o tem, kako imajo vsake oči svojega malarja in kako spremenjen zorni kot že nakazuje spremembo položaja, vendar je teža pogleda oziroma perspektive v kratkih zgodbah Tjaše Mislej prestavljena s protagonistk na bralko oziroma bralca. Dvanajst pripovedi v zbirki Ocean na steni privzema imena svojih junakinj. Gre za različne ženske v različnih družbenih vlogah, ki v trenutku poteka zgodbe ozaveščajo svoj položaj od zunaj. So v fazi spreminjanja svoje perspektive, kar je za ene vir tesnobe, za druge pa navdih. Ozaveščanje sprožajo različni dejavniki: od spopadanja z revščino do nemogočih cen nepremičninskega trga, od težavnega iskanja zaposlitve do staranja. Vsaka po svoje odpira novo življenjsko poglavje, saj so se bodisi po lastni odločitvi bodisi po sili razmer znašle v položajih, v katerih ne morejo ali ne znajo več vztrajati. Zgodba vsake od njih se začne z uvajanjem v spremembo, kar pomeni, da se je vse, kar se je do tega trenutka kopičilo, že zgodilo. Pripoved se iz sedanjosti obrača v preteklost, včasih že preveč razlagalno, kot bi šlo za didaskalije. Kot celota se zbirka nahaja na tanki liniji med angažmajem in programskostjo, in marsikatera zgodba ne uspe povsem zajeti začrtane poante. Zato pa toliko bolj izstopajo tiste, kjer se politično in osebno spojita v gmoto, ki nato duši same protagonistke in njihove medčloveške in družinske odnose. S prikazovanjem konkretnih, individualnih situacij, ki so opisane živo, otipljivo, Tjaša Mislej opozarja na tiha, a še kako prisotna vsakdanja bremena. Pripoved o Sonji spremlja izobražen, ozaveščen mlad par z dvema otrokoma, ki pa se zaradi preobremenjenosti drug od drugega vse bolj oddaljujeta. Sonja bi morala zaključiti pisanje doktorata, a ji ne steče, ker mora skrbeti za majhna otroka in gospodinjstvo, medtem ko je njen partner, edini z redno zaposlitvijo in torej redno plačo, pod nenehnim pritiskom zaradi službenih obveznosti. Avtorica se spretno izogne iskanju grešnega kozla in se raje osredotoči na to, da partnerja ne zaznavata več stiske drugega – ne zato, ker tega ne bi hotela, temveč ker ne moreta. Vsak od njiju je na svoj način ukleščen v lastni mehanizem, iz katerega ne more izstopiti, ker je tveganje preveliko. Ali pa se jima tako samo zdi, ker ne moreta več razmišljati trezno, in prav v tem Mislej prepozna dramatični potencial. V sistemski poklop je ujeta tudi Beti, ki iz finančnih in etičnih pomislekov ne more oddati dementne mame v dom za ostarele, se pa zato povsem izčrpa. Primer Beti ni samo plastičen prikaz vse bolj upehane posameznice, ki vsak dan težje skrbi za mamo, vzdržuje šoloobveznega otroka in študentko ter zraven dela, temveč pripoveduje tudi o vse šibkejši državni skrbi za starejše, o predragih domovih za ostarele, v katerih pogosto primanjkuje osebja, ker je to krepko podplačano delo, tako da morajo skrb pogosto prevzeti ne več mladi in zdravstveno nekvalificirani otroci, najpogosteje ženske v družini. Tretja zgodba, ki jo velja izpostaviti, je zgodba o Hani, ki obravnava tematiko splava in izpostavlja pravico do svobodne izbire odločanja nad lastnim telesom. Bolečine, s katero se sooča Hana, ne more olajšati še tako ljubeč partner, tudi zato, ker si ne zna niti predstavljati njenih razsežnosti. In čeprav odločitev ni bila ne lahka ne preprosta, je jasno, da je bila za Hano nujna, tako kot je bilo nujno, da se za poseg odloči sama. Tako kot v ostalih zgodbah Tjaše Mislej tudi tu nagovarja odzive predstavnikov različnih ideologij: od tistih, ki želijo pomagati, pa ne znajo prisluhniti, do onih, ki so odkrito nasprotovalni in že tako težek položaj še otežujejo. Zgodbe o Hani, Sonji in Beti sodijo v vrh zbirke Ocean na steni. Vidi se, da avtorica Tjaša Mislej izhaja iz gledališkega sveta in da zna dobro prepoznati potencial značaja v kombinaciji s pravo situacijo, ki nato ustvari krizno priložnost in s tem zgodbo. Podoba oceana se v zbirki spreminja od zgodbe do zgodbe. Nekatere zaradi odprtih koncev izzvenijo, zato pa so toliko bolj prepričljivo izrisani značaji, ki ostajajo avtoričina močna točka tudi tam, kjer se pripoved spogleduje z karikaturo, kot v primeru Kriste Marije. Tudi v neudobni vztrajnosti odprtih koncev je mogoče razbrati drugačen namen: s tem, ko ne ponuja odgovorov v zgodbenih okvirih, predaja dileme zunajliterarni stvarnosti.

Fâili meçhul,tartışmalara yol açan bir katl hâdisesi, Musa (a.s)'a arzedilmiş o da kimde bilgi varsa bize bildirsin diyerek halka seslenmiş, hiç kimsede bir bilgi bulunmadığı görülünce, Râbbinden sorup öğrenmesi istenilmişti. Bunun üzerine Yüce Allâh onlara bir inek boğazlamalarını emretmişti. Kur'ân'da şöyle açıklanır: "Bir zaman da Musa kavmine: Allâh size her halde bir inek boğazlamanızı emrediyor!" demişti. Onlar:"Bizi eğlence mi ediniyorsun?" demişti. Musa da:"Ben câhillerden olmaktan Allâh'a sığınırım!" demişti. (Onlar, öyle ise) bizim için Râbbine duâ et de onun ne olduğunu (kaç yaşında olacağını) bize iyice açıklasın." demişlerdi. (Musa):Allâh diyor ki: o, ne çok yaşlı ne de pek genç değil, ikisi ortası bir dinç (inek)tir.Artık emrolunduğunuz şeyi yapınız!" demişti. (Onlar, tekrar): Bizim için Râbb'ine duâ et de onun rengi nedir? bize tam açıklasın?" dediler.O da: (Râbb'im) diyor ki: O, bakanlara ferahlık verecek sapsarı bir inektir!" demişti.Onlar:Bizim için Râbb'ine duâ et de o nedir? Apaçık anlatsın bize.Çünkü bizce bir çok inekler birbirlerine benzerler.Allâh dilerse (istenilen ineği bulmaya) muvaffak oluruz." demişlerdi. (Musa): Râbbim buyuruyor ki: o, ne boyunduruğa koşulup arâzi sürecek, ne ekin sulayacak bir inek değildir, salmadır.Hiç alacası da yoktur." dedi. Onlar: “İşte şimdi hakikati getirdin (vasfını tam bildirdin) dediler.Bunun üzerine o ineği (bulup) boğazladılar ki az kaldı (bunu) yapmayacaklardı. Hani siz bir kimse öldürmüştünüz de onun (katili) hakkında birbirinizle atışmıştınız.Halbuki Allâh sizin gizleyecek olduğunuz şeyi açığa vurandı.Onun için biz ona (Öldürülen adama, boğazlanan ineğin) bir parçası ile vurunuz!" demiştik. İşte Allâh böylece ölüleri diriltir size ayetlerini gösterir. Gerekir ki aklınızı başınıza alasınız." (Bakara s. 67-73) Boğazlanan ineğin bir parçasıyla vurulunca maktul diriltildi. Musa (a.s.) kimin öldürdüğünü sordu. O da kimin öldürdüğünü haber verdikten sonra ölü haline döndü. (M.Asım Köksâl, Peygamberler Tarihi, s.83-84)

Dispensing aid in the Gaza Strip is becoming increasingly difficult. No one knows this better than Hani. On a professional level, his employer, UNRWA—the main supplier of food, water, and shelter to Gazans over the last year—is banned from operating come 2025.
